The hotel was well located in this interesting town , 40 minutes from San Sebastián by bus. We took advantage of the private parking on offer and used public transport during our stay here. The excellent staff were a bonus. They couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast in the garden balcony overlooking the beach was amazing, as was the breakfast itself. The local bars and restaurants were bustling hubs of people enjoying themselves all day. No complaints at all.

Use of single use plastics. Also, I know this sounds funny, but after a long day of walking, hiking and exploring, it's nice to come back and watch a Futbal match without squinting. The tvs are tiny. Be nice to have a least something 36x28. Way to small.

A beautiful family owned hotel on the edge of the old town. Friendly staff, great shower and facilities. Breakfast was home-made by 'momma' and the majority of staff were friendly and helpful. Close to the Camino del norte path. After walking all day the shower was excellent to relax in. They have a lovely terrace overlooking the ocean.

There was nothing really to complain about

Welcoming and helpful staff, very nice, comfortable room, very clean, quiet. Great location at the edge of the historic old town, which is charming. Close to the Camino, if you are walking. There is a terrace with beautiful views of the beach, where we had a picnic dinner. It looks like some of the rooms have that same view.

Shower was a lit tricky to figure out

The staff is very friendly. We were welcome warmly at the reception and given tips where to park and eat. The next day we had a great breakfast at the ocean. Here again everyone very friendly and nice. The room was great, nicely furnished and comfortable.

Our room was located towards the street which was a little bit loud the whole night long, due to traffic.

A perfect location when walking the Camino. Receptionist at check in was so friendly & helpful. She recommended that I avail of breakfast next morning & she was so right. It was the best breakfast I had anywhere during my stay in Northern Spain. Room & bathroom were perfect. I cannot understand why its only rated 1 star....it provided so much more than I expected

Javier, Sara and the other family members were delightful. They were fluent in English. The facility was fabulous and had a view from their deck that was dramatic. Great shower! The hotel referred our group of Camino del Norte pilgrims to a seafood restaurant that everyone raved about. In addition to superb food, they had an extensive wine selection.

Not only did we get a cozy, clean and well equipped room, but the receptionist was perhaps the kindest and most helpful staff I’ve ever met during my travels. My partner and I only stayed one day, but it was so pleasant that we decided to go come back for sure - not only to Getaria, but specifically to this hotel! :)

The breakfast was optional we only had it on 1 day but it was just beautiful. There are so many little cafes and choices of food in the outside streets it was lovely not to be tied to a breakfast. The location of the hotel could not have been better so central. The views of the sea spectacular.

Nothing to dislike, except the car park was about a three minute walk no issue for us but maybe for elderly people. Having said that it's nit picking. Really the hotel so deserves its high ratings.
