Delamar 4*Sup-Adults only (18+)

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights and loved it from start to finish. We got breakfast included and we found it such good value for money. The room is nothing fancy but it was perfect for what we wanted, and the bed was massive! We got the poolside balcony view and I would recommend that if you want to avoid the busy noise of the street as it is a popular spot and the noise does go on till late. Rooms and cleaned daily to a great standard and the buffet breakfast was excellent, it has a huge amount of choice and not once in our stay did we go down there and found it short of any food no matter if it was 8 am or 11 am 😊 we always has somewhere to sit by the pools and there was never any rush or fight to get in there early to get a sun bed as there are 4 pools to choose from and they have plenary of space everywhere to sit! We really loved to private club that everyone gets access to by being a hotel guest - lovely heated pool, plenty of space, great area to lounge around in, good food and prices of drinks were decent too. Overall loved our stay and we will certainly be back to explore more of the beautiful area and stay in this hotel 😊

Staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Room was well maintained and clean. Bathroom wasn’t large but the walk in shower was excellent. Buffet breakfast was generous and varied. Evening meal was also a generous and varied buffet. We didn’t have half board as we had alternative arrangements but chose to eat a couple of times in the hotel. For a buffet it was fine but our preference is for individually cooked food. Roof terrace was a bonus in very good weather. My wife took advantage of a free yoga class. Location good for town and beach.

Our problem was we were visiting a relative who lives outside Lloret so we had a car. Free or cheap parking in Lloret was inconvenient. Convenient parking was relatively expensive. Given the hotel location parking on site will never happen so if you need a car as we did it probably isn’t the ideal destination. The hotel had musical entertainment most nights. Although we were five stories above the music it was quite intrusive and as we aren’t typical guests either from age or orientation it was a downside in the evenings.

Great location, just 3 min from the sea. The sea and the beach there is just amazing, with the views of cliffs ones of the best I saw. Staff is friendly and helping, hotel’s administrator positively surprised us, he was really helpful and it seemed he really cares about guests. Especially we liked the food, we took breakfast and dinner and the choice was replay plentiful with seafood every day. Locations is full of students/youth which is important to consider when traveling with family.

At first we received very small room and had to change it. The new room was bigger, but previous one wasn’t costing the money we paid in my opinion. We couldn’t also extend check-out for couple of hours even though I was ready to pay for it. I understand that the hotel is full, but the staff didn’t even care to check whether new guests will arrive later. Overall, it’s not a big problem given the perfect stay.

On arriving we had a very warm welcome. Our bedroom 612 was immaculate. Compliments to the cleaner.. The hotel was very clean, well done to all the cleaning staff. The hotel and lounge areas were tastefully decorated. It is a very beautiful and stylish hotel. The rooftop pools and bar were fantastic. The food in the restaurant had a great choice for everyone

Cold plates in the restaurant. I would recommend having hot plates available to ensure that the hot food stays hot. Our food went cold very quickly. It was difficult to read the labels for the food, perhaps the writing could be a bit bigger.

The hotel entrance is very understated but when you get through the front door the feeling and ambiance of the hotel is wonderful and the decoration fixtures and fitting are all beautifully set together. We stayed half board and the meals and presentation, quality and variety was outstanding. The late breakfast to12:00 was an excellent idea which gave you the option of things to do in the morning and not miss out. The pools 4 in total were great and the rooftop area was outstanding with plenty of space and sunbeds. The hotel was spotlessness clean and staff were very helpful and friendly I had requested something special as it was our wedding anniversary and we had a lovely bottle of cava cake and flowers left in the room, and I would have no problem recommending this hotel for your stay.

Parking facilities are close to be non existing and the optional parking house close to the hotel is expensive, € 24 per day! The hotel should make an agreement with the parking house about special rates for guests with cars. There was very loud music from the hotels pool area until late 23.00-23.30 and sitting on the balcony of the room made you feel like in the middle of concert.

Walking in the hotel was clean and modern. The receptionist was amazing and immediately wowed us all. Great first impression. She even was a great helped when we asked her for some local help a few days later. The bedrooms were clean, modern, light. Shower was amazing and great water pressure. The bed was HUGE and comfy. My partner normally kicks me at night, these were the most peaceful nights sleep I’ve had in a while The rooftop area was the highlight for me, 3 different rooftop pools to enjoy. And the drinks at Avana club were great. My partner and friends were thrilled with the sangria. The breakfast choices were brilliant. Almost too much choice. There’s something for everyone. And it’s well presented and the dining area well maintained. You get a free safe and fridge in your room. Bonus. Nearby night life and food was great. Again something for everyone When we checked out (12pm, great time), we could still use the pool facilities and the gym (partner took advantage), and even provided free lockers to house our bags until we left at 9pm. cash exchange next door also

Downside to the rooms, only thing was makeup ended up on the pillow ( a little bit was obvious) and they just made the bed keeping the dirty pillow case. But eh, it was only me using it again, so wasnt bothered. The pool although heated, was still abit cold, mostly due to us coming in april. So don’t expect it to be a nice relaxing warmth. Shame they close the entire area off at 8, I understand why, but also would have been great to keep the bar and seating open atleast. No parking so had we hired a car for our trip we would have been disappointed but luckily we researched beforehand. Although it is an over 18s hotel, we had a noise complaint at 9pm for music coming from our phones in the rooms. Was not loud, but we still received one, which seemed silly considering where we were.

Everything was of high quality! Fast check-in, on the reception I got all necessary info at arrival in spite of late hour. All hotel staff is extremely helpful and very friendly + they are many so everything in hotel happens magically fast and unnoticeable for guests! The hotel has very cosy and tasteful lobby with various events in the evening + bar with very good assortment of drinks and beverages at reasonable price. I do love “adult only” concept! Breakfasts were great with nice assortment - dieting, vegan, vegetarian, food with good nutrition, local specialities, fruits, juices and fresh, champagne and chocolate fountain at the entrance, ice cream and really good coffee! Assortment was varying from day to day, so you’ll not get bored of the same food if you stay longer than weekend. The outdoor pool was clean and nice, with cosy and style sunbathing area. I stayed for 3 nights and I saw at least 2 water sampling for water quality analyses despite of low season and far from full capacity of the hotel + area around pool was regularly cleaned and inspected. Last but not least, the hotel has facilities that fit for people with physical disorders and staff that is willing to assist and help. also, they have very good routines wrt. protection against corona and other viruses (regular cleaning with cleaning agents (even floor in the lobby was cleaned with cleaning agent + they have warning signs that they widely use under cleaning to avoid pity incidents), antibacterial spray all over the hotel’s facilities etc.). Lastly, amazing interior perfume is being used at the hotel, so I enjoyed this fantastic smell every time I entered the lobby. I will definitely come back!

It’s a minor thing, but I’d love to have more yoga mats in the gym and probably better cosmetic product.

Hotel is very modern and clean, loved the room. The rooftop pools and bar/restaurant is brilliant and very reasonably priced. Breakfast options were great and lovely lounge area by reception. Located in the middle of the main street with easy access to bars, restaurants and the beach. We had no issues with noise. The nearby cliff walks were beautiful and lots of great bars and restaurants. Pizzeria Marghe 1889 is right behind the hotel and was gorgeous.

The balconies all overlook each other - I may have seem a bit too much from a room across the way! 😅
