Hotel Golden Sand

This hotel was a total bargain. I go to Lloret a lot of times and seen the hotel but never stayed in it. The hotel is a little dated but it was clean and well maintained. The price I paid was a absolute bargain. You can book an evening meal in the hotel for €9 and I don't know how they do it for the price. The food was great and included wine and water. I will definitely be staying here again.

The only problem I found was the WiFi was very slow in the bedroom, but it did say that the WiFi is only in the communal areas. So this wasn't a suprise and was a bonus that I could get WiFi in the room.

The breakfast was included in the price. It was outstanding! There was so much variety. The coffee was very good. The scrambled eggs were fresh and well-made. The pineapple juice was very sweet!

The breakfast ended a bit early.

Location is very good - close to beach and shops. Staff is friendly. Price is very nice.

Parking is very expencive all around. There is no head dryer. But it is ok for this price.

Need renovation

The staff and the facilities were amazing not to mention the room and location. Everything was smooth and exceptional.

Hotel is very nice, rooms are big and comfortable, big balcony, pool is nice, sea very close to walk by foot, shops, cafes, bars are around, bus station is like 100 m from hotel, very easy to get to barcelona and girona and blanes, breakfast and dinner were very good, personal is very nice, the beach is nice and clean, i would come back again to the hotel. Cleaning was very good, fresh towels daily. I would really advise this hotel, very good for those money.

Slow wifi, even in the lobby, but its ok if you have mobile internet

Hotel Golden sun is on very good location, near bus station and Cathedral and main street, just few minutes away from beach.Room was comfort and clean.Breakfast was fresh and delicious.Beds were comfy.Stuff were kind and helpfull.

Swimming pool is small but we came to Llorer because of the sea so we used swimming poll rearly.

superb value for the money (25 eur per night). They are renovating last floor (the one with "terrace" option), so it should be even better when they finish it. However, right now wouldn't recommend this option, since you would live next to construction works.

I would love to see at least a few glasses for water. Having kettle and small fridge would be lovely as well. My room was rather small, so choose something bigger/pricier if you plan to stay for a while.
