It was handy for the Metro. The location was quite busy and my room looked out onto a crossroads. It was good to have a view. I was on the third floor so looking down. At night it was quite entertaining watching the cars gliding through the brightly lit streets and the traffic noise was reduced by the double glazing. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent Lots of cafes nearby, supermarkets too and an El Cortes Ingles outlet with an excellent cafe..

The petrol filling station below my room. The hotel advertises itself as having terraces. I couldn't see anywhere I would choose to sit outside but I knew of a quiet tree lined square just further up the road which was pleasant.

The location of the hotel was good, you could either walk into central Madrid or get the Metro. Two stations were close by. The staff were all very good and provided help and information when needed. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. They had gluten-free bread options which was helpful.

The breakfast room wasn't huge, so it could get quite busy although we did manage to get a table each day. The range wasn't huge but was adequate - the food that was available tasted good, it was the range that was limiting.

I liked the look of the reception and the room very much. The breakfast was a very good buffet where you can pick english and mediterran breakfast; scrumbled eggs, bacon, beans (some days), cold cuts, muesli, yoghurt, etc. They had more jucies but not freshly squeezed (which is another price category). The staff at the reception were super nice. The facilities were surplisingly good for 3 stars; super big towel (I love those!), hair dryer, fridge, pretty big desk, safe (big one, ideal for laptops), full-length mirror, everything you need for the bathroom. It's located at the border of Malasaña and Chamberí, which are a very youthful and rich neighborhoods. San Bernardo metro station is literally two minutes away, and there is a cute, very cheap place next to the hotel with a super nice owner and a large selection of food. I liked the view from our (French) balcony to the street.

We hang the towels, but they still changed them every day. The walls are very thin; you could hear people talking and pulling their suitcases in the corridor. We could also hear our neighbours fighting a lot (or it was just their style?) and the children knocking over furniture (or whatever it was). We could literally hear the words they were shouting, although I wasn't sure about the language, so missed the fun part. If you're not a good sleeper, I highly suggest to bring earplugs; people love slamming the door in the morning.

Good value for the price. We had bathtub, fridge, big TV and very comfortable king size bed the room. I personally advice booking it with breakfast included , the breakfast is amazing.

The only thing I personally didn't like is how early and loudly cleaning staff were beginning the chores. We had to wake up at 7:30 - 8 am every day because of how noisy things were getting with cleaning ladies throwing different stuff down, talking very loudly. I understand it's a hotel, but our stay would have been so much better if they started cleaning 1.5-2 hours later every day.

The hotel is in very good location with good access to subway and quick ride to all important places in Madrid. Although I got the room facing the street, there was next to no traffic noise - very good windows. The room was clean and had all necessary equipment. The staff is very helpful and speaks fluent English.

For some reason there was terrible soundproofing of the ceiling - literally every step of the persons above could be heard. Some of the elevators were broken and did not stop on my floor - a small thing but any malfunction of elevator is scary.

Second time at this hotel, the location is great and the breakfast is amazing. This time around what I was the most impressed by was the staff, because they were dealing with a huge group staying at the hotel but they made sure that the other guests were not affected by this, like breakfast time so it's not too crowded, very efficient check-in/out.

Since it's my second time staying here, it's hard to think about something I didn't like, I would suggest to provide more instant coffee/sugar/cream in the room, if there are two people and they both drink coffee, one is stuck with decaf..

Location is perfect! You are really close to Malasana which is one of the top neighborhoods in Madrid right now and 25 min walking to the main shopping streets. The room was a really good size and the views are nice. Also, your room gets clean every day.

The bed wasn’t too comfy and the walls were too thin because I could hear the people staying next to me. Although your room gets clean every day and that’s amazing, the cleaning lady sometimes didn’t take any of the dirty mugs or didn’t refill coffee or sugar.

The hotel has a superb location with all main tourist attractions and pedestrian streets on a walking distance (20mins to Gran Via via Fuencarral street). The rooms were ready for us when we arrived before the official check-in which was a good surprise. Everything was clean and comfortable. I really liked the bathroom with the nice smell of the shower gel and body lotions. The personnel changed our towels and cleaned the rooms every day. They respected my request for rooms at upper floors and I am very thankful for that (due to the noise coming from the boulevard). It’s also easy to go to the airport changing only 2 metro lines (6 and 8).

In general, we liked everything except for the noise produced by the air-conditioning system - it’s good to have this checked and fixed because it might be disturbing at night. Walls are also very thin and you can easily wake up hearing guests arriving late or the personnel trolley in the morning.

Nice staff and very helpful. Nice atmosphere and helpful people.

It is very loud, you can hear people behind the wall and people upstairs, above your room, you can hear the steps. At some point I could not sleep very well. I also had problems with laundry service, they have returned my clothes not cleaned and not washed only steamed, luckily hotel staff helped me to manage it in a proper way and laundry service did it again in a proper way.

Great location. about 300 meters from the metro and close to everything. Nice breakfast place 2 minutes away.

Our flight was delayed by 48 hours. We asked the hotel to give us some kind of compensation for 2 nights that we paid but did not stay. They would not even try. Shame. It was a nice hotel, but we felt that they could do something after us paying over 400 EUROs for a room we did not use...
