The apartment was lovely - very nicely furnished. Everything was new and stylish. Excellent location within walking distance of everything

I was told as I was arriving at 7pm that I would have to go to their sister hotel to check in, but that I would also have to check in online (which involved scanning my passport and credit card). I arrived at their sister hotel to be told that they had not received my online check-in and that I would have to do it again. They were very rude and unhelpful and eventually after many phone calls they found my online check-in. No apologies. this really got my trip off to a bad start.

The apartment was wonderfull an very beautifull! Everything was really clean and we didn’t miss anything at the apartment. We also really liked the systeme with no card to enter but with a code. It is so easy and you never have to worry about losing or that you forget your card. Also the staff was absolutely great and very nice. They always helped us with everything that we needed and respond very quick if we texted them with any question! They even got us a transfer from the airport to the apartment!! So I would highly recommend this place, it was absolutely perfect!

2 nights we had very loud and noisy neighbours, who had something like a party. We contacted the staff en they took care of it right away! So the rest of the nights it was completely silence!!

Close to everything - food, drinks, shopping, old town, the market, and many of the sites. The staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and spacious. Also had air conditioning. And it had two delightful princess balconies. I loved opening the windows and listening to the street sounds below. 10/10 recommend.

Some ride shares (Uber) were unable to access the street. This meant walking a couple of blocks to call a ride. Drop-offs were OK, but pick-ups were hit or miss. Luckily, it felt like we were in a safe area, so it was OK.

The penthouse is stunning. Gorgeous interior design, immaculately appointed with super comfy beds and cool, modern bathrooms. But it's the terrace that makes it so special. Just high up enough to be able to see church towers, the castle and mountains above the rooftops. Oh, and you have your own private lift code to walk straight out into the apartment! Staff were extremely friendly and efficient too. Top marks.

Nothing... it was faultless.

Lovely historic building restored in contemporary style. Quality sheets and towels. Mattress and pillows comfortable. Penthouse had a large outdoor terrace. Space was open and light.

There were no basic amenities in the kitchen except for some coffee pods and a few small capsules of oil and vinegar. In the mornings and evenings there were very strong septic odors in the second bathroom/bedroom .

Very safe and secure apartment in centre of Malaga. Very near to good restaurants, museums etc; and in walking distance of direct train connection to airport and beyond. Lots of space, quiet ,a fully functional kitchen, comfortable large bed with good quality bedding, and very good bathroom. Catalina and Ana were perfect professional hosts, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

We arrived way before check in time so the hotel offered us a place at a hotel nearby where we could safely store our luggage. We received a whats app message to inform us that our room was available. While checking in Ana patiently run through the necessary procedures and informed us about the national holiday (Independence day of Andalusia) and so on. To sum up: Ana gave us a smooth reception. Katherine gave us a 'clean' welcome. The room was clean and tidy. It gave us a spacious feeling as well. We like the design of the interior. The bathroom looks awesome and the rain shower works perfectly. The kitchen has a modern look and is well equipped for our needs. The beds are comfortable and a real treat after a day's stroll in the historic city and interesting sites which are located within a 15 minute walk.

These are minor things and it would not be a problem for us to book at Be Mate again. We missed a bidet in the toilet. Washing your hands in the bathroom's sink without making a mess was a bit challenging. It made us feel a bit clumsy. The distance between the crane and the sensor to make the water run was to big from our point of view. The thing that stroke us more as inconvenient was the noise at night form the interior and exterior as well. But what can you do? It is all a matter of behavior of the guests. Maybe they have heard us also. Ana told us afterwards that we should have told her before so that they could address this issue at once.

Very clean, comfortable beds, well equipped and decorated to a high standard. Good location for visiting sights. The road is now tree lined and pedestrianised.

As we arrived after 6pm we had to go to a different location to collect the door code. This required an additional taxi stop en route and was a bit of a hassle. One night we had a problem which required us to call the emergency number in Madrid. There was no one on hand locally to assist us. We have since been reassured that the problem we had with door codes has now been rectified.

We had a great stay all around. The apartment is modern, clean and spacy. Quiet just enough given you are in a bustling metropolis of Spain. Staff is pleasant to deal with and attentive. Location — absolutely perfect, just on the edge of the city centre with great food and coffee options everywhere. Perfect base for a proper adventure on Costa del Sol.

Really lovely apartment, very spacious and in an excellent location. The decor was very much to our taste and gave a very luxurious feel. You’re also provided with almost anything you could need if you wanted to cook, wash clothes, store any food etc. which gives more flexibility to the stay. The staff are also super attentive and it’s really handy they keep in touch via WhatsApp.

The mattress wasn’t quite for us but that’s a personal preference. The only other minor improvement would have been more coffee pods provided.
