This boutique hotel was really quaint and cozy, the staff and service was great! We had a nice size room, very spacious and comfortable. There was a good selection for breakfast, served at the courtyard which was very charming. The hotel was centrally located in a quiet street just minutes away from town center.

The bathroom we had was quite large and the lighting a bit dim, however as soon as it was addressed the staff at the hotel very efficiently placed a standing lamp and resolved the problem. As this is a small boutique hotel, we had door codes to let ourselves in and out after a certain hour, however that was quite straight forward.

perfect for a short stay in Mao. Lovely old house, well appointed, and with good breakfast, all very upmarket and stylish.

Our room was under the roof, so only roof windows and thus no view. So, the other rooms would have been much nicer. The bathroom was really just a cupboard door, again with no window, and you bang your head a lot if you are tall, since the ceiling is low in certain parts of the room. So all good, but just be aware of the slight shortcomings of that particular room 7, under the roof.

Excellent location , friendly helpful smiling staff , superb reception/ concierge and hands on Manager. Got a room upgrade to suite which was unexpected but welcome . Though situated on residential street very quiet at night . Nice touch was pastries , biscuits / biscuits in common area …. Help yourself!

Hot food was limited to eggs only . No milk in the room for tea / coffee. There was free unlimited tea / coffee in the common area but again no milk .

We had a wonderful stay at Can Alberti. The staff were brilliant and treated us like family and nothing was too much trouble, from offering restaurant recomendations to arranging spa treatments for us. Breakfast was perfect, with eggs made to order each morning as well as a great selection of pastries, fruits, meats and cheeses. We felt very well looked after and would recommend Can Alberti to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat right in the centre of Mahon.

Not a criticism but if you have a car it is worth noting that parking around the hotel isn't easy. On street parking was nearly impossible so we used the nearby multi-storey which was about 10 mins walk away and worked out at around 18 euros for 24hrs.

The hotel is in a fantastic old building which retains much of its old charm. Our room was large and had its own little terrace. Staff went out of their way to welcome us and to provide whatever we wanted. The breakfasts were really excellent (if very generous!) and made great use of delicious Menorcan products.

The hotel and the room had a lot of style, although the shower room could have been a little more modern to reflect the design of the rest of the space. People with reduced mobility should ask for a room directly accessible from the lift, as some rooms have steps leading up to them.

Staff was very helpful and polite. Even though the desk is not manned through the night they are always available by phone. The breakfast was very delicious and served with flair. Gorgeous patio for breakfast and salon with honor bar. Also rooftop for sun and views. Very good location on quiet street.

My room was enormous but up a windy staircase in the room that was a little tricky. Also the only window was too high to see from.

Location was convenient. Staff (esp. Leia and Sonia) were so helpful and professional. The beds were very comfortable. The facilities were lovely with a nice breakfast patio (great breakfast), parlor and rooftop terrace.

Finding parking was challenging but the hotel reserved us a spot for duration of our stay at a local carpark about 10 minute walk from hotel, a huge help for our family traveling by car. The shower stall in my room was always damp which left shower floor bit slimy. Everything else about our stay was wonderful at Can Alberti, Thank you!

This is a very special hotel, the loveliest we have ever stayed in. The staff make you feel so welcome and we were greeted at the door as soon as our taxi pulled up. Beautiful spacious loft room (no.7), Communal areas, patio dining and delicious breakfast. Tastefully and stylishly decorated. I could go on and on about how fabulous this hotel is. Right in the heart of Mahón.

The location is amazing in the heart of the old town of Mahon. The architecture is an example of the one that ruled the city in 18th century. Staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was very spacious and the high ceilings add to this feeling. Breakfast was delicious. Amenities provided and refreshed daily. Clean rooms kept clean and tidy daily. The reading room and common space next to the kitchen was the perfect touch to provide a “home” atmosphere while away from home. We loved the place and strongly recommend it.

It was a unique experience. Few more considerations would make it literally perfect: While we loved the hotel’s effort to maintain the original floor tiles, not having a carpeted floor meant we could hear every single step above us especially since the building dates back to the 18th century. The doors of the bathroom could have been different to provide some more privacy. And not having a parking space nearby was a challenge.
