MB Boutique Hotel - Adults Recommended

Very comfortable boutique hotel close to beach and restaurants, but in a quiet street. Rooms are comfortable and staff is friendly. Free parking in front of the hotel! Nice breakfast buffet. Great rooftop to relax! Thx for not playing music anywhere (rooftop or breakfast area)! Overall good value for money.

Note that the property is close to everything but not situated in a nice street. This means balconies do not have a nice view. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar on site (rooftop has a vending machine only).

The room was perfectly located. It was adjacent to the Cafeteria and the elevator. Breakfast was available at the cafeteria for several hours and there was a good selection of food on offer. We enjoyed the time at the cafeteria. The Elevator was perfectly located, just a few metres from our room and the exit from the hotel was right next to the lift.

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel. It was a small hotel but have everything we needed. Sometimes small is better. The staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. We got to know them all well during our stay. We knew from the time we met David at reception that everything would be perfect. He explained how everything worked and how to get around. He was a great help also to explain where to go to get the best views of Nerja.

Nice large room. Ideal as we had a wheelchair. Bed was large and comfy. Plenty of choice for breakfast and open at a decent time 7.30 until 11am so we did not have to rush. The location was ideal for us everything that we wanted to do was within walking distance.. Greeting at reception upon arrival was great as well. Glad we booked parking as we could park up and leave the car and not have to worry.

Have to say that the water operation for the taps and the shower was a bit tricky at first but we sort of got used to it. Also some instructions to turn off the LED lighting around the bed would have been helpful as it was pure luck we managed to turn it off ready for sleeping.

Clean and smelt lovely Lovely shower Bedding and towels high quality. Supply pool towels. Staff very pleasant and helpful Huge TV with English channels Hot tubs on roof ( we didn't get to use but looked lovely. ) Vending machine on roof also with very fair prices for nice drinks. We may return at the end of our stay on Spain next week ( if we get bigger bed ) Excellent value for money. Let us check in very early.

Our bed was too small for us to be comfortable. We had requested bigger but they must of been fully booked.

Everything was amazing. Staff were Superb, so helpful. One little complaint, could have done with a sun canopy on Terrace in the blistering heat, so spent most of our time on Roof Terrace in Hot Tubs, Scenery WOW. MB have a Restaurant called Oculto which we highly recommend you go. We have never experienced anything like this and we are foodies. Not expensive at all and so worth the experience, food outstanding, staff Superb. I will not share any more or it will spoil the experience. This place is stunning and we will be back.

Nothing not to like

When we arrived the receptionist was very helpful and explained all we needed for our stay. Our room was very clean and the facilities were very modern, including latest technology to operate all the lights, shower etc. Unfortunately the smell of drains in the toilet area was quite strong but this is a well known problem with drainage in Spain. We would definitely recommend MBs to any adults wishing to visit Nerja without children.

The smell off drains in the toilet area was very strong . The parking area was quite small but it was very clean and the helpful staff were on hand to help direct our car into the space.

Very modern and clean and the staff were mostly very friendly.

Had an issue with one member of staff when we asked for some ice to take outside the hotel to visit friends next door to the hotel(who had stayed in MB Boutique the two nights earlier). She was reluctant to give us the ice because we were taking a bowl out of the hotel, which we understood. But her manner was poor and we said to forget it. This was not a big thing and a minor incident. Overall, we found all of the staff very friendly and efficient and would no hesitate in recommending the hotel to friends.

it was very modern, clean. the staff were all really friendly and very helpful. There is a fridge in your room to accommodate any drinks that you buy in the local supermarket, which is only a short walk from the hotel. it was about 12 minutes walk from the centre and 3 minutes to a local Irish Bar, which was really friendly with a nice atmosphere and good to call in on the way back to the hotel for an Irish Coffee. It’s also in a very quiet area, at least it is in October.

Because it’s an hostel we hadn’t realised that there wouldn’t be a bar. On leaving we mentioned it would be good to have access to ice and nice glasses to drink our wine from. The night receptionist did say had we asked he would have got some for us and it was a shame we didn’t think to ask.

MB Boutique hotel was clean and had nice amenities like breakfast included and hot tubs on the roof. The decor had a modern, hip vibe that we liked. The staff provided nice touches like a welcome fruit bowl and cute towel "swans" on the bed for decoration. We give our highest compliments to the concierge, David, who went out of his way to help us with reservations, parking and other details that made it a wonderful stay. David was literally the best!

I have no complaints about the facility or staff.

A very warm, genuine welcome from David who explained everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay. Roof top terrace with Jacuzzis an extra surprise. Complimentary coffee/tea and pastries available all afternoon. Good breakfast selection. Location excellent.

Be aware it is a boutique a hotel, rooms are very high spec and modern but no separate bathroom which may surprise guests. Toilet in cubicle, shower in cubicle. Separate sink, but all in the one room. Small balcony with table and chairs a bonus for a city hotel.
