Hotel Saratoga

Having been twice before we knew what to expect Went for a better room which was lovely. Liked the new pool

Nothing major but housekeeping forgot things each day- left bin out on desk , didn’t refresh coffee and milk, The shower makes a loud noise in the pipes when other rooms use water! The new pool was amazing and as advertised it is a tranquil looking area with the beds in the water and jacuzzi- however children were there regularly with pool toys and jumping in doing flips etc!! Maybe it should be adults only? The round pool is best for water games!

Very friendly and helpful staff, 2 outside pools in a city hotel was a good thing to have

Building works going on so could hear power tools all day and gym was closed due to building works, we had to ask to them to sweep up as floor was really dusty and the shower had to be cleaned

The hotel itself was really lovely, clean and friendly staff

There are 3 pools, but when we went to get towels they had run out, people were also leaving belongings on the sun lounges so was hard to find a spot. The bathroom in our room was a sound tunnel for what sounded like every other bathroom in the hotel, every time someone above us showered or flushed the toilet it sounded like it was raining. We were on the ground floor, the closest room to reception and we could constantly hear people coming and going, for a deluxe room it wasn’t very deluxe.

The fact that the air con was on through the hotel, was bliss 😊 We liked the breakfast which had a variety of choices and we could have it outside by the pool. The fact that there are 3 pools and one of them, which is on th 8 floor, is adult only 🤩 The cleaning staff were amazing, always on time to clean our room, which was daily (wasn't expected that as I've had a different experience with another four start hotel). The reception staff was very helpful, always ready to help 🙂 It was a very relaxing week for us with the beach being only 15 min away 🥰

We couldn't really use the balcony because of the street noise ( cars, merchandise being delivered to the shops and being handled without any consideration of the people leaving on that street). Nothing that was the hotel's fault as they can't really do anything about the outside noise.

Location. Right in the centre of the city. Walkable to shops, historic centre and marina. Staff were amazing and customer service was excellent. Sauna and swimming pool were a bonus even in the rain! As the trip was for my husband’s birthday after the disturbance with the room reception brought up champagne and fruit to wish him a happy birthday. We were blown away by the service.

As it was off season and January, there was building work in the hotel which was right under our room. We were moved and upgraded to a new room. There was no band in the jazz club as off season.

Location was excellent and reception staff very helpful. We choose this hotel because of its central location and because it had 3 swimming pools, including a roof top pool and bar.

Unfortunately there were insufficient sun beds by the pools and bar staff were unhelpful when asked why the towels had run out. Also towards the end of our stay the hotel got very busy and noisy, although this was not the hotels fault. The mini bar was not fully restocked every day and had limited contents, eg no red or white wine, only cava. Also the air conditioning unit leaked, which we had to report, but this was repaired very quickly.

Our rooms were lovely with great views. We enjoyed the pools; and also the rooftop bar and restaurant after dark. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Booking.com had duplicated our reservation in error - and Heidi on reception was determined to sort it out, and explained to me throughout what I needed to do. She was also very helpful when we needed to find somewhere to buy sanitary products early on a Sunday morning: she found a little store that would be open from 9am. Great customer service. We loved the location of this hotel too - on a nice boulevard between old town and the buzzy restaurant area of Santa Catalina.

I have stayed at the hotel before, and it was just as great as I remembered it. The staff are very good, as attentive as you want them to be but not intrusive in any way. The location is fab, as it allows you to see something of Palma which is 'off the beaten track' but literally minutes away from the 'centre'. The room is great, fully air conditioned and comfortable fixtures. Great shower too!

There was a problem with the lifts when we were there, which meant that we had to use the stairs - this wasn't a problem for us as we were only on the 3rd floor, but it did seem to take a while to get it fixed.

This is a beautiful hotel with a sky lounge and a pool by its side. It's in a central location in Palma and within a walking distance from main attractions, such as the Palma Cathedral and Paseo del Borne. Great restaurants and cafés are also nearby.

My only complain was about the pool. They have 3 small pools that are insufficient for the amount of guests that the hotel gets during the high season. And I really mean insufficient: not enough chairs or towels for everybody. It's really a shame, but if you don't count on a place by the pool, it's a great place to stay.

Lovely location, very clean and well run.

Some staff were lovely and so helpful. Some could have been more helpful- I asked for a pool towel at reception and was told to get one at the pool, the pool bar said you only get towels at reception. Went back to reception and a different staff member went to the laundry to get me a towel. Obviously the first staff member I met just couldn’t be bothered. We went to the Sky Bar one night too and were ignored by staff so just left. The staff in the downstairs restaurant and breakfast were fab.
