We stayed elsewhere on the island in a villa and instead of flying straight home at the end of our holiday, we decided to lengthen it by booking a few nights in a hotel in Palma. We were drawn to this hotel as the location was very good and the Penthouse had a large terrace, so we had our own outdoor space too. The hotel was lovely, the staff were exceptional in the hotel. Room 20 is the only room on the top floor and has a jacuzzi on the terrace. The hotel also has an outdoor terrace for other guests on the roof, but this isn't visible from Room 20. The room had a mini bar, clear glass shower unit and twin sinks actually in the room, a separate toilet, wardrobe, iron/board, sofa and flat screen tv. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was in the Italian restaurant on the ground floor, included fresh fruit, juice, cheese and ham, croissants and rolls, and scrambled eggs were made fresh. Not extensive but sufficient. Fresh coffee, no earl grey tea.

Wish we had been advised to book the Italian restaurant on the ground floor in advance of our arrival as it was very busy as its a popular spot.

The hotel was situated in the heart of Palma Old Town, near the port and promenade. The location was excellent. The room was really comfortable, modern, spacious and clean. The staff was really friendly and attentive, and the terrace was the highlight of this hotel, great space for relaxing and enjoying beautiful views.

I would have to mention some minor things, like there not being a balcony even if we booked a room with one. There was a balcony door but there was no space to stay outside, the balcony was basically a big window. I saw that there were other rooms that had bigger balconies, m

The staff at BO Hotel are exceptional - everyone is incredibly friendly, we felt genuinely cared for as guests, it's like staying with family. The breakfast offering is very good, but there's no menu to choose from - let the waiter know what you'd like however and if possible, they'll do it.

The hotel is in located in the busy streets of Palma's Old Town - and, unfortunately, our windows faced a street with two night clubs on it. On Friday and Saturday night, it was incredibly loud until about 4am! Not something the hotel can do anything about, but bear it in mind if you're keen for early nights.

Stayed in the sky suite which was fabulous. The staff were brilliant and made sure we had everything we needed. We were staying for our wedding and used the room as a getting ready room - this was never a problem for the hotel. We had many people visit us in the room and occasionally asked for help. The amenities in the room were everything you could need, and the cleaners did a great job to tidy for us too. The terrace is fabulous and has a nice private hot tub, and views of the cathedral too.

It was a shame the bathroom/shower had no privacy (it is open in the room). We also didn’t have breakfast which we assumed was included in the sky suite given the high prices but wasn’t, would have been good to have this as a nice touch.

great location. customer service was great. while checking us in through the Booking.com reservation, we were offered drinks in the cozy restaurant (connected to the small lobby). nice touch. rooms are fantastic. spacious, well appointed. bathroom amenities were also top (molton brown). great value also. walking distance to most things. despite the night life in the quarter, rooms were very quiet.

wish the AC would cool off more than it did. A common thing in Europe though. For us Americans, used to the strong AC to sleep, it makes sleeping uncomfortable.

Excellent location close to the Cathedral, comfy rooms which were quiet in the evening even though it was busy outside. Lovely roof top solarium with a great view. Not the cheapest hotel in the area but certainly one of the best. The front of house staff were excellent, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and they couldn’t do enough for you.

We stayed in room 20, the Sky room, which is the best room I have ever stayed in. A very large room, with the most comfortable bed. But the best part is the amazing private roof top terrace with sunbeds, comfy sitting area and not to forget the hot tub. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. You won't be able to get a better location anywhere else in Palma in between the cathedral and the marina.

A very minor point but there were not English speaking channels on the TV.

The staff was very helpful. We had a beautiful spacious room. The bath was large and well appointed. There was a nice restaurant in the facility. However, we did not have breakfast there, so no opinion on breakfast.

There were not available electrical outlets beside bed. Plenty of outlets other places. Almost NO available English Channel TV News channels. Bea

Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and excellent hotel restaurant. Everything was to a very high standard.

We had some strange trouble with the lighting in our room, couldn’t get both bed side lights to work at the same time and the light switches on the wall didn’t always work (not sure why). We asked for help with this when we checked in and one of the staff managed to make both work for a little while but the problem returned the next day. Since we were only staying for 3 nights we just ignored it but let the staff know on check out. Hopefully they can get it fixed!

The location is perfect for seeing old town and being right in the centre of the city. There is a brilliant buzz around the hotel, great night life, resturants and clubs. It's a quick walk to the marina and to the Palace. The streets outside are busy but the hotel is well insulated and you could not hear much outside. The Balconies are lovely and the roof terrace gives a great view of the city. The air-conditioning is fantastic and not drying or obtrusive. The staff were incredibly accommodating and really lovely. There were complimentary drinks which was a nice gesture. Bags were taken to the room and we were able to check in early in order to have a full day in Palma.

Although it was a brilliant stay it was expensive. If you don't want a hefty bill stay away from the mini bar. We couldn't work the coffee machine.
