Clean and well designed hotel room with good shower and ensuite facilities. Great choice at breakfast, food was very nice. Pool was clean and well maintained and bar service was good. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Taxi transfer could be offered from Palma to the Hotel. Buffet selection should discount teenagers - we both ate very little compared to other guests and it would have been great if this was recognised.

Well worth upgrading to "Star prestige" with its own access to adults only area on rooftop with rooftop pool and sun beds. Also separat breakfast area. Good gym. Great breakfast. Very friendly and professional staff. Very clean and upscale hotel. Excellent value for money if you like paying for 5 star hotels.

Playa del Palma is crowded with party people. Restaurants, bars and beach clubs are far from modern standards. If your are looking for upscale beaches and beach clubs, Playa del Palma is not the place to go. But very easy to get a taxi and head for Palma (which is fantastic).

Great facilities, amazing food and sea view from Katagi. Rooms are a great size and the breakfast was delicious with a wide selection. Most staff are very friendly and can help with anything you need. Marc made our stay especially good with his friendly and personable service!

A lot of German tourists, people claiming sun beds early in the morning and keeping them all day, location in playa de palma a little far from palma itself, but if you rent a car it’s fine.

The staff and facilities within the resort are excellent. We spent the majority of four days at the resort without really having to leave, with plenty to do to keep us entertained and relaxed. Drinks provided on arrival (perhaps only those on all inclusive), an excellent check in overview and maps. Food and drinks were all very good, plenty of selection and good variety throughout our stay. Rooftop bar has a fantastic view, great spot to watch the sunset. The spa and massage is fantastic and they had a bonus massage provided free of charge when we booked one.

There wasn’t much that could be improved. An iron and ironing board was not in the room but when requested was provided free of charge, would be better to have by default. The food on the room service is not included in all inclusive which is a bit misleading.

Staff is absolutely marvellous. From Ana Clara (the maitre) and all the staff at reception desk (with a special remark to the argentinian receptionist that upgraded us to a full sea view room), conciergerie and the buffet restaurant, everyone went the extra mile to let us feel comfortable, arrange tables outside for us to avoid crowds, with an ample and gentle smile, which is difficult to find in overcrowded resorts during the holiday season. Secondly, the view of the room was simply breathtaking, and unforgettable. This hotel also features a massive Japanese restaurant in the 7th floor, an unmissable opportunity during sunset and nighttime.

There are some aspects to improve: 1. Toilette has poor ventilation and at times, it can stink. 2. Noises and footsteps from the rooms above and on the side were quite hard at times, so even when the building seems to be quite new, we noticed our room wasn't as much isolated as we would have hoped for. 3. People smoking in other balconies caused some cigarrete smoke to get into our room. While I acknowledge that it is difficult to control what people do in their bedrooms, a stricter non smoking policy should be put in place. 4. Shampoo and body wash was not refilled during our stay (4 nights) and we ran out of them in day 3. Not a problem since we travel with our own soap and shampoo, but these are little details that count.

Japanese restaurant is fantastic. location is ok but hotel is great. go for Prestige - worth the money.

on the promenade you will find large groups of German boys on the beer - can be a little intimidating

The staff was exceptional friendly and helpful in all questions and issues.

- the bathrobes are only one size and should also have for more corpulent people options - the fact we booked All Inclusive and only could have 3 alcoholic drink with lunch and dinner was a bit disturbing. They could better manage a max. Amount of drinks a day what one can choose when and where to drink, not only limited to the restaurant - the running hours of the restaurant were a bit disturbing too, breakfast was until 10am, lunch until 3pm and dinner until 9pm - I would prefered to have each meal time one hour more available

Modern hotel, if close proximity to the sea. Great roof top bar and restaurant. Grilled chicken and panacota to die for.

Our room was facing the street, and at night there were hoards of drunk people at night going home (passing hotel) screaming or loudly chanting which was getting through the windows. Also water was leaking from beneath the shower door, and the puddle was appearing in the room area.

Although the hotel is located just a few minutes away from the party district "El Arenal", you don't notice this in and around the hotel. The staff was very welcoming and the facilities, such as the hotel lobby, the restaurant area, the pool etc. are clean, cozy and well arranged. Its a big hotel but we never had the feeling that it was overcrowded, on the contrary it was quiet calm. The rooms could have been cleaner, and they are structured in a strange way (washbasin just next to the bed, shower in the room, "open doors" to the toilet) but we were able to adapt to this situation for a few days ;)

Only two little remarks : The hotel marks itself as a sustainable hotel, but although we nearly never wanted to have our towels changed, they were replaced every single day. This is just not necessary. They mini bar should be controlled in more detail : lots of bottles were half empty or water had been poured into water bottles. Plus the whole week they had a really sad playlist at the pool area, not really adapted to the situation. ;)

Everywhere is clean and beautifully decorated. Staff are very friendly and helpful, including the waiters, the reception staff, the cleaners and the spa staff. The chef, Pedro was super helpful with my son and his nut allergies. We paid all inclusive and every day Pedro would tell us what was safe for my son to eat from the buffet. This made for a very relaxing stay. The spa and bedrooms are amazing and very luxurious. The showers in the bedroom were fantastic and the spa facilities were very good, with a variety of jacuzzi, saunas and steam room. The gym was also very well equipped. The food, wow! The food is unbelievable good. So much selection and variety on all inclusive. Each evening there was a different theme, as well as the regular buffet. Chef’s were there to cook your choice of fish or meat, so exactly how you liked it. Definitely a hotel worth staying at. Even after we had checked out at 11am, they allowed us to continue our all inclusive until we left for our flight at 3pm, they were so attentive. Amazing staff and hotel!

Maybe a few more things to entertain younger people (teenagers), like an outside table tennis table or pool table. Just something to keep them amused in the evening and stop them constantly on their phones! Maybe some board games to borrow and play in the lobby bar.There is not too much to do in S’Arenal for teenagers other than Dino golf, so just some extra games at the hotel would be helpful, but we went to the gym and spa often, so this was not a massive problem.
