Excellent

The only negative was the reserving of sun beds with towels etc,which commenced when it was still dark in the morning! Although the hotel put notices around to discourage this,it continued every day. More sun beds are needed,as the pool area didn’t have any spare.

The outdoor area, pools and entertainment for the children was really good and I recommend Bitácora for families travelling with kids. The food was also nice and the buffet always had something for everyone. The location of the hotel was excellent, short walk to nearby beaches, shops and restaurants.

The food was great, however the dining area was aweful. It was so loud and busy that we did not enjoy our meals properly. The hotel room itself was okay but we did not have a king bed, housekeeping did not always meet our standards, for example we ran out of soap a couple of times, as well as toilet paper and so on. I would not recommend the loundry service, as it is very expensive (3 euros per piece) and they managed to distroy one of my favorite shirts while ironing it.

Breakfast and dinner were really great! There were many options(fish, meat, chicken, soups, salads, cheese, etc) available every day and almost everything was tasty. The menu is rotated every day. I really liked fresh orange juice for breakfast, the kids were very happy to have an ice cream every dinner. The swimming pools were warm in April and kids were enjoying spending time there. Playground is very big and kids liked it. Playa del Camisón is not far from the hotel and it is the best option for families with kids.

Sometimes there was too much noise during evening parties near the pool.

Good location, close to the ocean and shopping street. Nice and big pool area, activity program by the pool during the day and in hotel lounge and bar during the evenings which the children enjoyed. Wide food selection in the morning and evening buffe. Friendly and humorous staff. Comfortable to have laundry drying rack on the balcony and a shop in the lobby with the most essential holiday and beach stuff.

It was a bit annoying that all the hotel information, wifi codes, excursion options were only available through the hotel app which wasn't easy and comfortable enough to set up. The staff was helpful to assist but still some members of our family did not manage to get access and had to live a whole week without internet. :D Communication with the hotel prior to the trip through Booking.com did not work, we did not receive answers to the sent messages. Quite noisy air conditioning but we preferred the open balcony door anyway. Pillows could be more comfortable and duvet cover preferable over simple linen.

Bitacora is a perfect hotel for a family vacation. There is a lot of activity for kids. All family members could find something to eat at breakfast and lunch/dinner. I could also recommend the spa.

You have to take into consideration that this is a pure family hotel. Kids were running in the hallway screaming and having fun really early in the morning. There was one thing that I absolutely hated, that was the battle for sunbed. I found it really frustrating that most of the sunbeds were reserved during the whole day, even if the people who reserved it only used it for couple of hours.

Great Hotel, lots of activities to keep the Children occupied. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Pools are great, including the slides.

Food is good but can be a little bit repetitive. Sunbeds are an issue, especially when the hotel is busy.

The pool and facilities were good. The wrist band was a great way of accessing the room and paying for drinks. The quality of food was good. The slides on the pool was good.

There was not enough sun beds for the amount of people there. They had a adult only section which was huge but it was mainly families there so there was empty sun-beds in the adult only section. The communication should have been better that we could transfer our half board meals to lunch time. We only found out afterwards. They didn't cater that well for Vegan's or Gluten free. They have a touch screen ordering system by the pool but shut it at lunch time. The entertainment team wasn't very good, would stop participation events early. Despite being advertised as being heated the main pool wasn't heated. The quality of the entertainment was average, could have found a way to integrate the guest more.

Great pool area, the room was great and we loved the location. The room was always clean. We received a bracelet the first day which we used to access the room and pay with at the bar- which was awesome

They charge extra for towels at the pool and for the kids club, that is if you are not paying all inclusive. It was a struggle to get sun benches and we waited up to 10 minutes for the elevator. It was noisy from morning to night (11pm)- it stopped bothering us after a while though. They charge some rooms for a fridge and some rooms received a mask/sanitizer kit. We didn't receive the kit. We waited whole night for extra towels and needed to get them in the morning.

The hotel food was 1st class both in the restaurant and at the pool bar. The quality of drinks in the all inclusive package was exceptional. The pool areas were very spacious and the bedrooms were large, very modern and clean. The hotel is situated in a brilliant position within walking distance to all bars.

There was nothing at this hotel we didn't like.

I liked everything in this beautiful hotel. The room was big and really good isolated from noise - we didn’t hear other people at all. The system with the key from the doors ist absolutely great, very practical. Special compliment to the cooks - the food was fantastic: fresh, variable and very tasty. Very friendly and helpful people at the reception. Great location! You have access to several beaches within 7-10 minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends with families.
