Great pool and regular cleaning. Comfy beds and free safety deposit box. Location was good - a short walk away from the Yumbo Centre.

1. Comfortable “beach club” zone: you can enjoy 2 saunas, 2 jacuzzi, big swimming pool, drinks and food cost reasonable price (even cheaper than in cafes around) and tasty! 2. Very clean everywhere, green and peaceful. Rooms are huge!!! Service and cleaning work daily and very professional. 3. Guests from all over the world give entertaining atmosphere. You even enjoy every Saturday DJ’s play - feel like a beach party - order bottle of Cava (just 20 €) and enjoy this f**king amazing set game! 4. Reception: helpful, not annoying, friendly, welcoming, give really good advices. Manager Kevin - decent, friendly distance, tactful, several times helped to solve difficulties and yeah, smart and smiling. Such employees create “a brand” of hotel’s branch. The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to restaurants and the Yumbo centre. The rooms have been redecorated which had really brightened the rooms up. The pool area is really nice. the staff are very friendly. special shout out to Dayanna who was so nice when we were checking in.

Music at the pool area can be very loud, especially on Saturdays. So you need to make a decision if you can power through when you’ve a delicate hangover. Another thing, but outside the hotels control, is that the hotel next door was being extensively refurbished. This caused a lot of noise and distractions. I would’ve liked to have been informed prior.

Lets start with the best thing about the whole stay at axelbeach: The staff. These people are the friendliest i have ever seen in any of my vacations. The staff that works at the front counter are always happy to help. Whatever we needed they really got to it right away. I got really sick on the 4th day of our stay and the staff immediatly did everything they can so i wont be sick for long. There is always someone there at the counter 24 hours a day. The ladies that did the room service were so friendly and got the room ready every day, very quick and very clean. We had issues with the AC. It was fixed the same day. Absolutely amazing. Amazing staff, give them all a raise!!!! The room was good except for the lights. The lights are way to bright an blinding. Also the wallpaper is not the best and makes the room a bit depressing. Otherwise the rooms are amazing. Loved the bathroom and the balcony a lot. The location is just perfect. Really close to the beach but also the nightlife.

My recent stay at Axel Beach Maspalomas with my partner reminded us of our last visit, back to a site we enjoyed and feel welcomed. We noticed that the room had received some delightful new decorations since our stay last year, giving it a fresh and modern ambiance that we appreciated. It's a great location for those looking to explore the local scene. The hotel staff were undoubtedly a highlight of our experience - they were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Kevin was great to sort our arrival and check-in in a very efficient and friendly way! Another highlight of our stay was the Saturday afternoon pool party featuring DJ Lucky. He brought an incredible energy to the site, that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. In summary, Axel Beach Maspalomas offered a comfortable stay with welcoming staff and a fresh room design. While breakfast could be improved, its convenient location near the Yumbo Center and the entertaining pool party with DJ Lucky made our stay great!

When it comes to breakfast, while it was good overall, there's definitely room for improvement in terms of variety. It would be great to see more options to cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. One of the major advantages of this hotel is its proximity to the Yumbo Center, just a short walk away. This allowed us to easily access the vibrant nightlife options that the hotel unfortunately doesn't yet provide, and maybe Yumbo's proximity is the reason.

Going back to Maspalomas and staying at the Axel beach hotel is always like being home! The whole staff is always so nice and welcoming, it's the third time we go there and it won't be the last one, for sure! A special thank to Nerbida, she let us stay in the pool and enjoy the last few hours of sun before departure, which was very much appreciated. The structure is very functional, so close to the Yumbo center! It takes literally 5 mins walking which is a blast especially when you're going back to the hotel very late (or very early in the morning) and don't need to take a bus, taxi or anything! Theres always someone at reception 24/7. The room has a beautiful view on the pool and the garden. You can also see the beach! Planning to go back very soon within the year!

Hi, I always stay at Axel as the staff and hotel are great. Nothing is a problem and staff always there to help. Food is great and the morning breakfast. Location is great for walking into Jumbo and shops. Great location if you like a walk to the dues for the beach. Some of the staff that are lovely this trip are Rayco, Mari Carmen, Daniel and Christian. I missed Niyara the reception desk manager as from the first time I stayed shes always been there and such a lovely person. :) I also get 404 room as Ive stayed here so many times and the staff know. The evening sun is lovely on this side street side. :)

This hotel is great if you are looking for an adult only gay centred hotel close to the jumbo centre, rooms are basic but clean and the facilities (pool, gym, etc) are great. The staff were always friendly and helpful but particularly Kevin working on reception who went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed and always greeted me with a smile and asked me how I was etc. really lovely guy. Would recommend staying at this hotel.

From start to finish, Axel Beach was a 5* experience. From the moment you arrive the staff couldn't be more helpful and polite, on hand for anything you need. The rooms are large and exceptionally clean, large comfortable bed, the rooms loom like they have recently been totally refurbished. Special thanks to Kevin, Daniel and Carman on reception for going above and beyond to help me during my stay, translating for me, helping me find a late night pharmacy and fixing me up with a room with a view hours before standard check in time as I arrived in the morning. 5*.breakfast with the lovely Raico looking after me. Highly recommend this hotel.
