Great staff, great location for the Camino, perfect for having a wander around the town after the day's walk. Showers are excellent. Under-bed lockers were great, without any need for a padlock. The whole hostel has a bit of a gentle "new age" vibe which is quite fun. Incense/perfume (which definitely beats the smell of pilgrim!) and lots of affirmations and so on on the walls. They offer to arrange massages too which is handy, though not a service I used on this occasion. Nice first floor open air patio to dry clothes and generally sit around, with clothes washing facilities available downstairs too.

Perfect location for walking the Camino Frances. Very welcoming and efficient reception. Immediate impression is that of cleanliness, bright with pine wood etc. I had 'treated' myself to a private bedroom after many nights in dormirtories. The bedroom was bright , with big window overlooking inner courtyard, and again very, very clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Good laundry facilities for either hand-washing or machines available , with drying on terrace or in courtyard.Close to main squares and plenty of choice for bars/eating places.Stepped out the next morning and straight back onto the Camino path.

Nothing to criticise negatively!

Albergue is close to restaurants and shops. Only 2 bathrooms for a few rooms (which means about 15 people) however didn't have any issues taking a shower or using the toilet (no waiting). There is a kitchen but it has only a microwave and a kettle which should be ok to prepare tea/coffee and to warm up ready meals if needed. Albergue offers breakfast but didn't use this option. There is a nice terrace where you can relax after a long day of walking

Lovely owner, place with tons of charm and peaceful ambiance, comfortable private room, beautiful outdoor terrace with tables for dining or relaxing, great location right near the bridge to get a small head start on your Camino the next day.

It was very wet in the shower room and the mop provided doesn’t do much to keep it dry after multiple people take a shower, but, this is pretty standard in Camino albergues. Bring your shower shoes for this one.

Good location. Nice breakfast. Reasonably large and comfortable bunk beds...but they were a bit noisy because they had pull down blinds on them.

The hostel felt lacking in little things that would make it special. The welcome was a bit short on information. No-where to make drinks or prepare food even though there was a kitchen. This was used solely by the staff to serve breakfast if we had ordered it. After asking I was told that I could use the microwave to boil a cup of water to make a hot drink using my own coffee and milk. I think there was a seating area but it was not clear if we could use it. The room where this was was being used by the receptionist to do paperwork and she had the door closed. Only two toilets and two showers for a large number of people. It all got a bit hot and steamy when they were in use.

It was very clean and the staff were very helpful. Staff did some thoughtful and helpful things. After a very long hard day walking through the rain, they brought all the wet boots in to the boiler room to dry them off before the next days walk. On arrival we are asked to pick a card, which had a word that was meant to provide with a theme for to us reflect on as part of our camino journey

It was clean and a great location. Most of all I loved the massage therapist that was right in the place. Absolutely the best message I ever had! The masseuse stayed there until 11:30pm at night giving all those who signed up a massage. After a long day and a long massage, this was my best night’s sleep on the Camino! Loved it!

Nothing.

Hospitality was exceptional. Natalia waited for me past 7.45pm. She booked my bag to the next stop, which was very helpful. Roseanne was the staff on duty in the morning and was very considerate. Both Roseanne and Natalia live the Camino values of caring, loving and respect.

Drain in the shower area was not effective and floor was getting flooded.

Lovely, welcoming vibe. Really friendly, helpful staff. Nice touches to the common areas for Camino pilgrims. Great showers. A lovely terrace for hanging out on or drying clothes. Perfect location just by the bridge where you continue the Camino the next morning. Decent optional breakfast.

My room was quite cramped - there were 2 bunk beds and then an additional fold out bed which just felt like too many beds for a very small room. But then again, I haven't stayed in a proper hostel like that for a while so maybe I'm just not used to it!
