Excellent location. Only 10 min taxi ride from airport. 5 min walk to the beach and very close to a big Spar shop. Bus stops right outside the hotel. The whole place is spotless. Cleaning team there everyday, mopping floor, changing towels. Excellent service. Very clean surroundings and maintenance very good. Staff very friendly and genuinely happy to be working there. We were very lucky and got upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment so plenty of room! I opted for half board, very good value for 3 of us. Would have cost more to eat out. Very good quality and plenty to choose from. Plenty for kids to eat. There is also a Launderette in hotel, 1 washing machine and tumble dryer. 4 Euros each which is excellent. We didn't go to the bar for entertainment.

I think it would be good if there was a little bottle of washing up liquid in cupboard just to encourage people to wash cups etc properly before being put away. Perhaps there could be a box in reception for left over stuff from other holiday makers like suntan lotion, washing up liquid etc so you don't need to buy more from shop?

Location fantastic, nice pools, very clean rooms. Very close to beach, Spar shop next door and bars/restuarant alonf esplanade a couple of minutes walk away. Waiting staff and bar staff were excellent. Food outstanding!

The receptionist gave us wrong/poor directions to our room late at night which caused us a lot of stress when we arrived. When we finally got shown to our apartment (in a totally different location to the map he scribbled on, the electric key did not work. So after going back to reception for a third time, they gave us another key. The door was incredibly hard to open, the tv did not work, there was a leak from the roof constantly dripping onto the bathroom floor. Apart from that, everything else was excellent.

Everything about the stay was excellent food was brilliant rooms were great staff were very helpfull and room were cleaned every day

Wifi in the rooms was actually terrible it was non existent and with kids who had to go to reception every night to use wifi was the only thing I didnt like about our stay

The apartments were clean and well furnished, the complex was lovely and the location was fantastic to explore the island (Caleton Blanco and Papagayo beach are a must if you rent a car) and the breakfast buffet was good.

Evening meals were varied but always poor quality regardless of the theme nights ie Mexican, Italian etc. and for us also a bit repetitive (same deserts every day).

Did not have breakfast as we were self catering

Everything was fine but should have some sort of vending machine by the pool for guests who stay self catering

The Floresta is one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in , staff are constantly cleaning and it is spotless. The apartment we stayed in was 1 bed, beds very comfy, 1 person was on sofa bed and she also said that it was very comfortable. we had apartment overlooking main pool which was amazing , so handy and close to pool bar . location is excellent - there is a spar shop right outside main door of hotel. beautiful beach is a 3 min walk away. there are shops restaurants nearby too . the hotel is located in a very flat area so no worries about having to walk up steep hills . overall I would def recommend and will be returning

we were all inclusive , food was a bit repetitive and sometimes cold . it didn’t really cater for vegetarian main meals , salad options were very good but no main vegetarian options
