Sol Lanzarote

Lovely hotel in good location, right next to the beach. We had a suite with a wrap around balcony, it was very spacious and the beds were super comfortable with great views of the pool & beach. The cleaner did a super job and came daily so the rooms where always spotless. The package was all inclusive, this was great for during the day for ourselves and our daughter. Very handy for drinks and nibbles. Food in the restaurant was a good quality too with plenty of choice. The entertainment team were the real gem of this hotel, they were super. Great atmosphere day and night.

The towel situation at the pools was madness. You had to be up before 7am if you wanted a bed with a shade. The second week the hotel was extremely busy so queuing for the restaurant and then food when you where in there was a real pain. The noise level in the restaurant was high, thankfully you could sit outside as well as inside. The bar closed at 11.30 each night which was just too early.

We stayed here 9-17th July 22 and it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel has everything you need and the views are amazing. We stayed in a superior sea view room and I was glad we upgraded . The room was spacious, bed was massive and comfortable and the views from the balcony were a pleasure to wake up to every day. The hotel is very modern and clean and has 3 pools. Lots of entertainment provided by a great team throughout the day for the kids and adults alike in the pool. Staff have good English and are very friendly and helpful. There are several locations throughout the day for drinks. Spanish beer on tap, along with coke, Fanta orange and lemon, white, red and rosy wine and sangria. You can visit the pool bar if you would prefer alcoholic or non alcoholic cocktails, a selection of alcoholic drinks (vodka, gin etc) and slushies. Breakfast was good with fresh omelettes and pancakes, hash browns, beans, bacon (although to fatty for my liking) and plenty more to choose from. Lunch and dinner though plenty to choose from nothing really to our liking though enough to keep you from going hungry. Our favourite was the snack bar available after breakfast up to 6pm. A selection of toasties, pizzas, chicken nuggets, chips, burgers etc so some days we skipped lunch and just ate from there instead. The hotel is situated about 1.5-2 miles from the main town area. There is a shop on site or a spar shop only a couple of minutes away at the ‘shopping centre’. There are some bars and eateries close by but you can also hire battery powered scooters via and app on your phone. We used these most days and explored the town, so handy. All in all a great stay and I would recommend this hotel.

People reserving pool beds - if you are not down by 8am it’s unlikely you will get a bed or a decent one with cover.

Food was very nice once you look past the beige offerings. Lovely grilled fish and loads of veg available, staff were friendly and efficient.

Pool toilets were out of order (ladies) for our entire stay everyone had to use the two ladies toilets in the hotel lobby. Also nobody abides by the pool opening hours so they are reserving beds very early. Went down on our last day at 7.30 to get some nice beds with umbrellas, thinking I would beat the rush. Got the very last beds available. Lots of reserved beds remained empty until the afternoon. Staff imo could have removed towels until pool opening hours. Other hotels do this and it works out fine.

Rooms were good right on the beach front good location to the airport

The food hall is not large enough to cater for the amount of people there, every day we where waiting for food to be cooked and often standing waiting 10 minutes for food. They need to restructure the food hall expand it . This is what let's the hotel down.

Great entertainment for the kids etc....place was very clean....

Food for dinner not my choice...but thats more a personal thing you couldnt really fault it....

Great daytime entertainers worked really hard for kids and adults. Bar staff really friendly especially Eduardo always funny!!! Delicious food and plenty of variety. Lovely hotel definitely recommend but pay for sea view. Look forward to returning.

As with everywhere, sun beds a problem. Hotel had a 9 o’clock towel policy but wasn’t enforced. Towels on beds by 7 or before and sometimes no one appears till afternoon. Would be better if any towels left on beds were removed if no one there after 1 hour as they would lose their 20 euro deposit ( if hotel towel) just a suggestion as it spoils the holiday when you have to get up early if you want a bed close to the pool.

Location was amazing, excellent family hotel, staff very good, entertainment staff were really good, professional photographer part of hotel very good, food was really good with lots on offer... no trouble with sun beds , pools for all and entertainment during day

Everything well overall as we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful resort which is front beach 1 minute walking! Great views and facilities with two nice pools as one it's 1.5 meters and the second it's 2 meter depth plus a middle one for kids. Great activities and shows every evening and plenty of delicious food every day! If you are travelling as family with kids, I would highly recommend! Or even as a couple it's nice and relaxing for anyone looking to enjoy and get into the Beautiful Lanzarote ambient!

The gym could get more maintenance as some machines requires cable and checking all adjustments.... The pool could be a little more warm. People leaving towels early in the morning on the Charis and it's quiet hard to find a nice place to enjoy the pool most of the times....

The coctails, the rooms were clean, the staff were friendly. plenty sun beds by the pool. location on the beach.

difficult to navigate way around the pool and to the beach gates. the footpath was not clearly visible and we found it hard to assess which door to enter or leave the pool areas. it seemed a little like a maze. the wearing of masks outside ??

There were lots of food options and good cocktails. The hotel is very close to the beach but also has nice big pools and a children's playground. The staff was very friendly. We could order a taxi and a car rental at the hotel reception. We had a photo session with a very friendly photographer. We had great massages at the massage center in the hotel complex. The hotel is close to the Zoo (Texas Ranch), only a few minutes with a taxi.

The restaurant was quite loud and because its so close to the airport you could hear and see airplanes landing very often.
