Hotel Traíña

Friendly, helpful staff throughout the hotel. The property was very clean. Our room was comfortable and spacious, with a comfortable bed and large ensuite, all kept spotlessly clean. The hotel has a rooftop sun terrace and pool plus a bar that is open in the high season. The food was of a high standard. My personal favourite was the buffet breakfast. La Traina is about 35 minutes from Murcia airport by car/taxi. It is situated about 12 minutes walk from the beach in one direction and about the same to the town centre square in the other. There are bus stops close by with services to Murcia and Cartagena.

My only comment would be that sometimes Dinner was served in the restaurant area in the downstairs sports bar which has tvs on every wall. If you like sport its great, if you don't - it is a bit distracting. But it's not a big problem.

The room was clean and spacious. The little terrace/ balcony was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was clean, the shower was good and there were plenty of towels. The hotel was well located and I appreciated the use of the private car park

The breakfast could have been better. The offering on Sunday was decent but on Monday several items were missing. The pastries were hard eg croissant. I had breakfast elsewhere after that which was much better quality for less.

From the moment I arrived the staff were amazing. check in was easy, room clean and spacious and thumbs up to the cleaner who were great. everybody who works in this hotel deserve huge credit. they are helpful, friendly, happy to chat and provide first class service. can’t recommend them more. range of food whether in cafe or restaurant and bar stock is excellent also. The location is great to being just a few minutes walk to lovely beaches, bars and restaurants.

It is a lovely well located hotel, fantastic value for a 4 star... and make no mistake it is 4 star. But the real selling point are the staff, in every area they excel and go over and beyond what could be expected.

Very little, the music at the pool was terrible and the computer in the foyer doesn't work, but again we were given a staff members own laptop... seriously where would you get it.

Room clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast would suit all tastes. Bed was comfortable, one side soft and the other side firmer. Bathroom was looking a bit tired i.e. needs grouting refreshed around the bath. Bath screen inadequate and difficult not to keep water in the right area. The cafe area was clean, pleasant and could be used as an alternative to the restaurant. Prices were reasonable. We did not use Restaurant for dinner as it was a buffet and having particular food requirements would have liked to see a list of what was available. As this was not available we ate elsewhere.

Used the roof terrace for a drink and for a four star hotel we thought the floor was not very clean. Ridges needed a good thorough clean. The hotel was fine but the area nearby looked run down.

Good location half way between beach and town. We had junior suite very nice with large balcony, bubbly and chocolates to great us. Ideal for exploring the Mar Menor. Food plentiful and service efficient and pleasant.

No tissues in bathroom. Although it was Xmas there were no festivities which was a shame. Could be because very few guests.

I like EVERYTHING about this cute, small hotel. The staff more than anything are AMAZING! Starting with Veronica at the front desk. She is amazingly welcoming, helpful, friendly and just a pleasure to speak to. She went out of her way to help me get converters to charge all my electronics which I desperately needed for work. She allowed me to take my room about 1 1/2 hour before time which was just a blessing after an amazingly looonggg trip. She stored my luggage safely, called taxis for me, and kept helping to guide me with directions. The young gentleman at the front desk is not as friendly but decently helpful too. Maria Isabel and Rafa at the restaurant are just as amazing and helpful. I happened to walk in one night late for dinner and she was super accommodating by making me a sandwich to my taste and drink to take to my room. She even offered to give me a tray. This meant a lot to me as I had been working late and missed dinner. Without her help I would have to leave the hotel at 10pm and go look for a place to get food or go without dinner. This was my second stay at Hotel Traiña and would choose to stay here every time I'm in the area. I'm grateful to all of them for their support and friendliness. Thank You!

Good location Great wifi and aircon Lovely staff

Door access card readers don’t work very well. Fridge very noisy, had to unplug it overnight Fabulous, huge room terrace, shame no sun loungers, massive wasted space.

On arrival,the reception was warm and friendly. Checking in was easy. Room had a stunning balcony. And breakfast was good and plentiful.

The location was a trek,to get to the beach. But it was well worth the walk. Nice selection of Bars and Restaurants.

All staff extremely friendly

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Cooked breakfast items could have been hotter.
