Club Santa Ponsa

Amazing location with beautiful views, lovely plants throughout with view points across the bay and out to sea. Really cannot fault the property itself which is a great layout with plenty of different areas to sit or lounge with stunning scenery. The studio room was spacious and has everything you need during your stay. Staff were really friendly throughout and happy to help. All inclusive drinks were great with a good selection available. The two pools were lovely, with plenty of sunbeds and seating available. Evening entertainment was a nice addition and really helped to bring a lively atmosphere to the resort. Free shuttle bus into town was really helpful and great for getting back to the resort after a long day. Overall incredibly good value for money, and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to visit the area.

There was a great food selection available for all meals of the day... if you have no dietary requirements. However there were often no suitable options available for vegetarians/vegans which made it very difficult for my partner and I to eat there. Not all dishes were labelled which made it very difficult to figure out what we could and couldn't eat. On the dishes with were labelled, the allergens were sometimes incorrect which was a big issue. For example, vegetables cooked in butter but not marked as containing dairy.

Lovely setting, very clean and tidy rooms, excellent food, good choice everyday no matter how fussy someone may be. The staff are all very friendly, especially the restaurant staff, they’re very good at getting rid of the empty plates from tables etc and are constantly cleaning.

The only things that let it down are the entertainment, lack of activities for kids unless they are toddlers or 5-10 at most. They have speakers outside the bar area where everyone sits, but don’t play any kind of music at all during the day, which creates a slight lack of atmosphere in my opinion. Now this isn’t a reflection on the hotel, but there are a lot of Germans there and they live up to their reputation of being rude and obnoxious.

The ratio of price and quality at Santa Ponsa Club is clearly excellent. Regarding the location, the view of the sea from the accommodation, especially from the terrace in front of the restaurant, is stunning. However, to reach the beach, you need to pass 228 steps. The walk to the beach takes about 12-15 minutes, but the hotel offers a free shuttle that runs every hour, which takes about 5 minutes. However, it can only transfer about 10 guests, so sometimes you may have to wait longer for the shuttle. The hotel has two pleasant pools (one of which is a so-called spa pool), suitable for both children and adults. It's not the warmest, but it provides a pleasant refreshment on hot days. The apartments are spacious, the bathroom is renovated, but the furniture including the bed is older, and the extra bed is not the most ideal for an adult. The rooms are cleaned every day. We were very satisfied with the food selection, and I think it partly surpasses a *** hotel class. The staff is friendly and smiling. The biggest bonus upon departure was the option for a check-out at 12:00, storing luggage in the luggage room, and the possibility to use all the hotel services until departure (in our case until 17:30). Overall, I recommend this accommodation for those looking for an excellent balance of quality and price.

To much to type, staff was very happy to help all the time, bar staff was funny and happy one bar man stood out the most (Chencho) he stood out the most as he enteracted with the customers the most and was always joking with the customers, Rooms very clean and big, cleaners very happy to come back if you was just finishing getting ready, one down side the ac didn't work to our needs we was told it was to cold outside for it to work 🤔 Site pool a tad cold but what would you expect in October

The 500 steps from the beach but not the hotels issue, they could do with a short cuts from the lower road to site

Very friendly and helpful staff, good food, ablotnof infant seats in the restaurant, nice and quiet environment, big and clean rooms, two pools, shuttle to the beach, overall you get more that you pay for (we stayed here in June).

Our room was in a 'half basement' and was humid and smelled bad (because of the location we didn't need air conditioning). The beds are not good - really soft and the matresses of the queen size bed just sort of slide apart (if a child is sleeping in the middle, he/she will fall in a hole after 15minutes).

- All the stuff were amazing and so kind.(ladies from room services,people in the restaurant and bar, receptionists,the animators) - The food was great. - The view was amazing. - Ladies changed the towels everyday and cleaned the room. - Everywhere was clean. - Our room was really calm. - For kids the pool was awesome and the animators were great too. - It was so easy to find from airport with bus line A11. - We really enjoyed our stay.

- The internet was really low level maybe it was for us to upgrade it.

Breathtaking views and amazing food! We liked it so much. We didn't expected such a nice stay and such a good food for the money we have paid. We were pleasantly surprised - everything was perfect.

Everything was just great. The beds are not so comfortable, but this is individual and who cares about the beds if you are surrounded by beautiful views of sea and mountains, full relax and delicious fresh food all day long :).

All of the staff were very happy, helpful, hard working & friendly. 2 of the barmen even got up & sang on the karaoke 1 night. Felt very welcome here & the food & drinks were really good. The apartment I had was very spacious & clean & slept well every night. Really enjoyed sitting outside the restaurant eating my meals with a panoramic view of santa ponsa beach & surrounding mountains etc. Had some very good walks everyday up & down the steep hills...if mobility is an issue don't let that put you off as the hotel provides a free shuttle to and from santa ponsa beach. Can't wait to come back & the price was incredibly low.

Only issue I had was with WiFi...

Very good food. Each meal is varied and a large selection of dishes. Nice service. Great view from the balcony. After the crane, a bit from the hotel. :D Daily cleaning. We didn't even notice when it took place. Evening entertainment in the bar. Two swimming pools where you can relax. Nice bartender, who always amused with his sense of humor. We are always happy to return there.

Very very kind staff,the view from our room was superb in the morning. A pleasant surprise was the fact that they saved some cold snacks for the late arrivals.

The only downside of our stay was the wifi connection, assuming that the hotel was more or less full, the traffic was a bit too slow (we did not buy a premium connection)
