We got an upgrade offered for a good price since we got there a lil bit earlier than our check-in time. So instead of the studio we got an spacious and clean appartment on the 5th floor with an amazing view! There alot of kitchen&table ware available in the kitchen. The cleaning staff was super polite and kind. Parking was also easy around the hotel.

the beds were 2 single beds and kept moving away from eachother.

we arrived at 10 pm and were put in a terrible apartment. At the reception we were assured that everything was occupied and there was no possibility of replacement. The apartment did not match what we saw in the photo. I was very upset because the next day was my Birthday. In the morning we met with the hotel manager and told that we are not happy. She solved the problem very quickly. And at 10 a.m. we were in a new great apartment. And in the room was a bottle of champagne and congratulations from the hotel team. Thank you so much!

The room was nice size, clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The poolside was great and had a nice bar area. I felt welcome and it wasn't too busy (start of May). It was a close walk to Santa Ponca centre and there were taxis around to take you further away.

The only thing was the body wash wasn't refilled and I had to go down to reception to ask for more toilet paper. But overall, great stay and I'd come back. I wouldn't eat the food from the pool bar again, I had a veggie sandwich for 8 euros which was advertised as it had greens, tomatoes, asparagus and egg but mine did not have asparagus. Minor detail, and I didn't say anything cause I don't like confrontation but overall a nice stay.

The property we originally booked fell through at the last minute, so choosing Golbales Costa de la Calma was made under pressure! Hence I was delighted to find we had made a great choice. The property has undergone an extensive renovation and apartments are decorated and furnished to high standard. The beds, including the sofa bed, were particularly comfortable, the kitchen was equipped for anyone wanting to eat in (no me!) and the south facing balcony was surprisingly spacious. The staff at reception were a delight to deal with and no request was too much trouble. The location was ideal - a short walk from restaurants, beach and shops. Perfect!

Ultimately this is a family hotel, so if you want to avoid noisy kids best avoid staying here during school holidays:)

Great hotel for kids, many activities throughout day, excellent room if you pick the apartment (not studio)

The studio room was way too cramped for a family. Pool times - opening at 10am and closing at 7pm Not enough sunbeds - was a struggle daily trying to find a sunbed by pool and saw many sunbeds with towels on them for the whole day with no person sitting on them.

The rooms were spacious. It was modern. Sunbeds can’t be reserved til 9am. Pool tables €2 per game. Quiet location. Snack bar food and drinks were good.

Cashless snack bar, you have to load cash onto a wristband, it’s inconvenient if others in your party want to use it and you’re not there. Lots of wasps round the pool. Expensive vending machines. Not enough towels provided in room. It’s a good 30 mins walk to the town centre, we didn’t mind this on the way there but we had to get a taxi €7 back as kids were tired at night. There’s hardly anything within a 5 minute walk, everytime you need groceries etc it feels like a day trip out!!

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The food and cocktails at the pool bar were great and the atmosphere calm and relaxing. The room were spacious and as shown on the website, and the beds were really comfortable. Overall really enjoyed the hotel and will come back again. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

The door to the bathroom don't close fully so there is a 1cm gap always open which doesn't provide any privacy when using the bathroom. The pool and bar closes at 6pm which is a little to early. The restaurant and bar got our food orders incorrect a few times and over charged for drinks at time so had to keep an eye on the reciept each time. The sliding doors to the balcony can not be locked and can be opened from the outside enen when fully closed, so did not feel safe leaving valuables in the apartment.

Our 2nd tine there, love the location as its quiet, the hotel and pool area are spotlessly clean...staff are all very friendly...the kids entertainer "Martina" was brilliant too.

Theres not much i didnt like , BUT the price we paid doesnt reflect what you actually get, the indoor bar entertainment area is closed and looks like it has been for a long time now, there is no restaurant only a poolside snackbar with a very limited menu and very understaffed that leaves you waiting upto an hour for food....the pool doesnt open till 10am and closes at 17.00 now for a family thats a bit restrictive especially if kids need an afternoon sleep! Otherwise the hotel is superb but the per night rates really need to be looked at, 4 nights was over €500 for basically a bed with no other foods supplied.

It been a family oriented Hotel

I didn’t like the fact that after booking with booking.com and the children’s ages goes up to 17 with them, yet the hotel comes back to me with an extra bill of €80 per studio for the same thing I booked with booking.com, because my kids were over 12! I have stayed in this Hotel 6 times before and I know what the studios are like, so I knew what I was booking, so I had to pay €80 for basically the same thing nothing extra. I have stayed in these studios with a family of 5 before don’t mind 3!!!

The breakfast was lovely, the staff worked hard and long hours but were always friendly and helpful.

The hotel seemed to have catered to a lot of young people that would come back from clubbing in the early hours and make lots of noise, but the hotel did not seem to stop them or tell them to be quiet. There were a lot of familiy's with young children there so the noise could have been stopped
