Hotel Macià Sevilla Kubb

Value: Great value for money, very cheap compared to neighbouring hotels and other hotels across Europe, this was my cheapest hotel in my entire trip to Europe and i was pleasantly surprised, better than more pricier ones I've experienced. Location: very central to everything you can imagine. All the main sights are within walking distance, lots of restaurants also within walking distance. Close to public transport as well. Cleanliness: Very modern and clean rooms, daily cleaning too. We went to breakfast and by the time we were back from breakfast our room was already cleaned. Staff: The staff were very friendly and super helpful with directing us to shops, sights, train stations and bus stops. Breakfast: Breakfast was very good, wide variety of hot meals, fruit, cereals, hot drinks, juices, etc. The bacon and mini chicken sausages were very tasty 👌 Comfort: Bed was very comfortable, amazing pillows which felt like sleeping on a cloud 😅 may have overslept because it was so comfortable 😂 Room facilities: We didn't have a kettle with coffee or tea in our room but we asked reception for a kettle and they happily obliged with providing us with one. The aircon was great especially with the high temperatures we experienced during our stay in Sevilla, was nice to have a cool room to unwind in after being outside in 33-38°C weather.

Bathroom: The bathroom has a transparent green glass which didn't give much privacy when using the shower or toilet, you can see the silhouette of the person as well as hear every sound. For a couple I think it would be okay, but when sharing with friends it's awkward. The shower was nice with 2 different shower heads, however the drainage system isn't the greatest because water went all over the floors and didn't only stay in the shower. It didn't affect my stay at the hotel but i felt bad for the cleaning staff who would have to clean up the bathroom.

Excellent location, just 15min walk from the old city, still in a area that is not so crowded. Reserving a parking lot is a big plus.

Very clean, great gym and pool facilities. Staff were always around if you needed anything and 24hr reception was great as we checked out at 4:30am. Room was exceptionally clean and shower was amazing. Air con was excellent, it was very much needed during August in Sevilla!

There wasn’t really anywhere social to sit at night. But perhaps this hotel is more catered to people travelling on business? I’m not sure. Housekeeping were very loud early on in the morning. The rooms aren’t very soundproof but it didn’t bother us too much. Also there is not very much storage space in the room, this would be handy for a longer stay as we were here for 10 days.

The hotel is brand new and we admired the architecture of the building and some of the design. We really loved the terrace and pool and the staff we spoke to were very helpful.

The bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable so much so I had poor sleep for all six nights we stayed. I did tell reception, however there were no solutions to my problem, so I did suffer with this issue. There was also no duvet just a sheet which was also not pleasant. There was no kettle, no dressing gown and very limited hanging space. I didn’t like the flooring in the corridors, I miss the feel of carpet.

Amazing, modern, clean, comfortable, hotel. Just far enough away from the Seville center to be quiet but close enough to walk to the main sites. Also it is fairly walkable from the main train station (not the airport, of course). Staff was super friendly and spoke excellent English. I had an early flight out and they called a taxi for me at 4 am - front desk is staffed 24 hours. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, and I really liked the modern decor and facilities. Breakfast was delicious with ample portions and lots of variety and local flavor. It was included in my room price so I can't comment on the value of it. Rooftop pool was a nice amenity, and I can't say enough good things about Seville as a travel destination.

Location was superb! Rooftop was fantastic amazing for those really hot afternoons we had during our visit. The pool was big enough and could do small lengths if needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the balcony was a great outdoor space in the evening.

My partner found the bed too hard for his personal liking. Whereas, I thought was okay. The carpet in the room was okay but a little uncomfortable under foot. I understand that due to cleaning and the location why it is suitable however it was a little uncomfortable to stand on for too long. Could have given us towels for the roof top however we did not ask for them I'm sure we would have been provided should we have asked

Overall the hotel, room and pool area were really clean and well taken care off. The staff is nice and always available to help. Having fresh water in the lobby is really handy for the hot Sevilla summer days.

The pool area has a good amount of sunbeds, sofas and tables. Missing part is a bar or a away to get drink all the way in the 6th floor, at least something more than a vending machine (which was not always working properly).

Very modern, beautiful 4 star hotel, with open air swimming pool. Excellent buffet breakfast for 15 euros, if you haven't pre-booked. The hotel's in a quiet location, about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The frequent local buses are fun, and very cheap. Just a 15 minute walk to the train station. The room was serviced every day, and all the staff were efficient and polite.

The bathroom light illuminated the whole bedroom, which was annoying at night. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Buffet breakfast was delicious with good variety. Staff was friendly. It was in a very convenient location with walking distance from all attractions. The beds were comfortable and staff on duty were kern and quick to make up and clean the rooms.

We had to change our room as our shower was flooding . Staff was quick to help us. Most standard rooms have coffee, but at this hotel only superior rooms come with coffee tea and kettle. I found that annoying. Also, they had advertised a roof top pool when I booked this hotel but on arrival we found out that it is closed for maintenance and won't open before April. It is important to update this information on your site otherwise it appears to be dishonest information.

The air conditioning was missing, because it was still too cold for Spanish people. I can understand when hoStels do that, but a 4-star hotel should do its best for ALL its customers, including foreigners. 25 degrees in the room, despite of opened window, is too hot for us.
