The hotel offers great value for money for longer stays. Although it is a bit outside of the centre, it can be reached by bus in 10 minutes (should all go well with the traffic) - and as a bonus it also gives opportunity for a nice (though a bit long) walk to the city via nearby Haga Park. The hotel is furnished in modern yet functional style, our room was spacious, well-equipped, and quiet despite the nearby highway (you can hear the cars humming in the background but it's rather calming than disturbing). We neither heard any sounds from the hallway or other rooms and slept very well throughout the whole of our stay. The breakfast has variety of choices and the coffee is available in the lounge all day long. The staff was very kind and attentive. A great bonus is a laundry room available free of charge which is convenient in the case of longer stays.

The location, although convenient, does not provide for the best views, but the traffic itself is not too disturbing, rather the opposite. The kitchenette in the studio is very convenient for preparing snacks or light meals, but is rather sparsely equipped for more complex meals (which is okay considering it is a hotel room). Having a couple of drinking glasses and few tea bags in the room would be a nice addition. Despite the room being generally clean, you could see the dust swirling against the light - perhaps it would be worth getting an air cleaner or looking at the ventilation.

Although the Hotel is close to a major highway, you cannot hear its noise at all, the insulation of the windows and walls are exceptionally good. The breakfast is OK but you are better heading down early, as later (after 8) you might need to wait to get into the restaurant or to get milk or the right size cup. The view is great, the Hotel is really close to Haga park which is a relaxing place to hang out. The Living room is comfy, and the Hotel also have a luggage room to store your baggage (we used this feature on the day of our departure after checking out). The staff was helpful and friendly, and our room was really clean.

Sometimes the WiFi wasn't that strong on our floor and the breakfast could be a bit more versatile (after a couple days it was tiring to eat the same thing over and over).

I loved everything about this hotel and was overwhelmingly surprised by how it exceeded my expectations. The style/decor, the friendly staff, the variety at breakfast, the sauna and gym. Separate for male and female! The hotel products. The location isn't too far from Arlanda Airport (which flybussana coach drops/collects you to and from for a small amount) and the 57 bus to and from town. There is a Westfields shopping centre 15min walk from hot and Solna station. I felt safe as a single female, first time travelling to and from this hotel and even happier once inside. I loved the living room, which was always stocked up with different herbal tea and coffee. Everything was perfect. They need more branches in different countries!

Nice hotel in the sort of suburb of Stockholm (at least formally so) but in fact just at the outskirts of the city. Good connection to city center and main interest points by bus - stop is literally behind the corner - but if you like walking a bit you can easily get to the city by foot. Big park just over the bridge with lake and plenty places to walk, run or cycle . Good breakfast, maybe not much variance but still good. Substantial common space where you can just chill and talk with people, play board games or do anything else, also tea and coffee (but not expect expressos or anything fancy - just scandinavian coffee from big boiler, same goes for breakfast by the way) free of charge

Nothing big to mention, maybe an elevators to some extent, as they have that peculiar outside door which you need to open manually even internal door was "normal" automated elevator sliding door, sometimes lock was acting, and couple of times I either was not able to exit on floor I needed and had to go down to exit, or cannot enter because even elevator arrived and free, outside door wouldn't unlock.

We both loved our stay here!! Since we stayed long, we choose the room with the kitchenette. The room had everything we needed! It was very clean, nice decor and quiet. The bed and blanket were very comfy. The breakfast buffet was very good! They even had gluten free bread and cookies. We enjoyed our breakfast outside, on the terrace! All the people who worked here were exceptional!! So accommodating, friendly and hospitable!! We loved to relax in the living room.The room was very cozy, and sometimes we had our breakfast and dinner there.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was very good. We were also delighted with the location and surroundings, near Hagapark in Solna. It is a very quiet area, with many office spaces and new blocks. Although it is next to the highway, there is no noise in the room, I slept soundly. Card access in the room and in the hallways and even in the elevator: you can't go up if you don't have a card. There are ice machines in the hallways. Huge TV in the room, with chromecast attached. Very friendly staff, check-in and check-out online (if you want, otherwise it is done normally at the reception). Bus stop near the hotel (3 minutes away), you can reach the center in 25 minutes. Average waiting time 15 minutes. Conclusion: we felt very good, we will return in the future.

Great location. It's close enough for reasonable costs in taxi's between airport and to the centre of city. Great facilities and great breakfast and excellent bar. Loved the ''living room'' so if you are working you don't have to sit in the bar or in your room. Comfy beds, fairly quiet all around. Nice bathrooms. Its was lovely to have the outdoor terrace, its on ground level so close to the road but not a busy road. Just didn't seem to private. Loved the park so close. Super easy to get too, just cross the bridge definitely worth a visit on your stay.

Lifts were a bit scary as they were like something from a horror movie but that also made it quite fun in a weird way! And 1 was out of use most our stay, which was a worry so just used to stairs. I wasn't too bothered but could be for other guests. Only improvement I would suggest.

This was my second time staying at Hotel Giò, and as before, it did not disappoint. My room was relatively small but very comfortable, with a well equipped bathroom. Hotel staff was very friendly and helped me in excellent English to sort out my parking needs, pick a time for breakfast, and keep an eye on my luggage while I was attending meetings in the city. There is a very good connection to Stockholm center from the bus stop right outside, though I came by motorbike and found it also very easy to get to via the E4 motorway, which runs directly into the city. Breakfast was extensive and very good, though other options for eating are within an easy walking distance in the surrounding Solna area. Across the motorway, you are only a very short walk away from the beautiful Haga park.

The very stylishly wall-mounted minibar was a bit loud, which was not helped by the relatively small size of my room. Additionally, free parking would make this more attractive to visitors from out of town. For a hotel situated right next to the motorway, this seems like an obvious choice.

I mainly booked the hotel for its price and was not sure what to expect, although previous reviews were very good. It is a bit further out, but just a few steps from the lovely Hagaparken which was a wonderful surprise. The center is easily and quickly reached with a number of buses that go regularly, the bus stops are in close proximity to the hotel. The bus linking the airport with the city centre, stops more or less in front of the hotel too. The staff were very friendly. The hotel even offers the use of washing machines, you just need to bring your own detergent. We did not check the Sauna/gym, so I cannot comment on this. Breakfast was great too, with a huge selection of different things. All in all, very happy with my choice.

This is a hidden Jem. The hotel does not look much on the outside but is nice on the inside. The guests are from all over the world, Afro Carribbean, Korea, French etc. All ages from 10 upwards. They have a great area to have free coffee or tea. Many families use this large area to play board games. The place is quiet and all kids well behaved. The breakfast is good with a wide selection of foods. There is a laundry room and sauna. The bus takes you directly to the city about 1 euro per person and takes 35 minutes. Do not take the black taxi it will cost you 44 euros. You can also catch the bus to the airport for about 19 euros for two people. The airport is north of the city and the hotel is in the north.

The taxi cost to the hotel was not their issue.
