Travelled for work. I booked Hotel Point since it was in the middle of the offices I needed to go to. So perfect walking distance to both of them. I have lived in the same area years ago so I knew I wanted to book somewhere to stay around there. 2 minutes walk to the closest metro station, plenty of restaurants around and a supermarket just in the corner (so perfect to get some late night snacks) Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was simple but good. The room was tidy and clean although I asked for extra towels and got them removed the day after (left them hanging to avoid this but they were removed anyway) I didn't bother to ask again so I just adjusted to the ones I had. I am happy I took a room with window so I could leave it open to get some fresh air. Maybe the ones without it have a better air circulation but mine smelled a bit like closed when I arrived.

I missed having a different door to go in and out the hotel without having to cross the restaurant every time. The shower was dropping all the time but I left in a hurry so I didn't report it to the reception. Since the water was coming out a bit from the shower (I am used to since that is how I have had it when living in Stockholm) it would have been nice to keep one towel for the bathroom floor (but as I mentioned above, I only did it once and didn't bother to ask for more towels again)

I have stayed at this hotel twice. The location is excellent if you like walking around the city - perfect to walk to Gamla Stan or to Avicci Arena area. Nice shops and restaurants in the areas as well. The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast is great and the staff is helpful. The restaurant has excellent pizza! They have books for exchange and that makes this hotel extra attractive for me who reads a lot.

I was a little freaked out that the lobby was so dark when I arrived late, but there is a doorbell and the receptionist came right away and let me in.

The location is incredible, in buzzing SoFo and just a couple of minutes’ walk from two T-bana stations. Staff friendly, room comfortable and very well equipped, wifi faster than in my own actual home, check in/out super smooth and truly excellent value for money.

Outside the first floor windows there is a flat roof where some guests like to hang out. It is badly littered and one night a lady sat right outside my open window (it was 24 degrees) at 1am talking loudly on her phone. There were also two days when my room wasn’t cleaned, which isn’t a huge thing, but I wish I’d known so I could have hung my towels up to air rather than putting them on the shower floor for collection.

Excellent location, very easy to get around. Closest subway station is Skanstull which is only 200-300m walk away. Breakfast was delicious, the restaurant then turns into the most INCREDIBLE pizza/pasta restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Occasionally housekeeping was sub par, had to ask repeatedly for towels that hadn’t been in our room when we checked in and no body wash either. But staff were very receptive and accommodating to fix the issues.

There's a Swedish word, 'lagom', which describes this hotel perfectly. Affordable, comfortable rooms in the heart of Söder, continental buffet breakfast, 24h access, pleasant staff, safe and cool location. Pizza in the restaurant Pazzi downstairs is great. Tip: if you'd like your room cleaned, hang the relevant sign on the outside of your door. Also, if you're from London or similar large European city and traveling solo, it's nicer to book a double room - it gives us more of the kind of space that we expect! :D

Very cute place with great location, amazing breakfast and comfortable beds. even tho our room had no window, room was clean and smelled nice. We stayed for a night and enjoyed the time there. staff was very friendly and helpful, allowed us early check in and kept our stuff until late afternoon

maybe a bit overpriced food from a la carte menu (ceaser salad wasn’t worth 200sek and also crispy bruschetta , which was actually mocarela pizza look/taste). other than that, nothing negative to add

I really don't understand the negative reviews. This is a no-frills hotel in the heart of the funkiest part of Stockholm, at a really reasonable price. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, the *free* breakfast is terrific, the rooms are quiet and comfortable (and yes, with a window that opens!) and the location can't be beat. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Honestly, at this price? I couldn't complain about anything. Everything was well-appointed and given the level of negativity on this site, my low expectations were far exceeded.

Excellent staff, very welcoming, true hospitality. It was an unusually hot day in Stockholm when I checked in and there was no fan in my room. Even though the restaurant, which also serves as the hotel reception, was very busy, they went out of their way to get the fan from the office. Thank you! Great music, soft and relaxing in the morning, upbeat during the day and Latin beats in the evening. Room was functional and clean, nice size bathroom. Great location, close to public transport, shops, restaurants and sightseeing spots. Breakfast was adequate for the type of hotel and the rate I was paying. I do not understand the negative reviews. Stockholm is an expensive city. Considering the rate and the location, the Hotel Point is a great value, would definitely stay there again.

This is a good value city location. The staff were friendly, night porter and owner (Michael) particularly. They all did their best to help us get around locally to the Tram and Trains, (which are excellent). Attitude is everything and everyone is helpful, from breakfast onwards. The hotel doesn't have A/C, which is now an issue as Sweden and other many countries are having very hot spells. But we didn't find it a problem on our two hot days. We enjoyed our time, in the middle of the younger active area of Stockholm.

The elevator failed on the first night, luckily we were only on the second floor (one above the ground). We need the exercise.

The bed was very comfortable, room size was good for one person. The breakfast was amazing loved it! The staff also was amazing! Close to metro station

On the first day in the hallway there was a not so pleasant smell, my shower doors didn’t quite close completely. And I couldn’t open the window blinds (probably that’s my fault haha)
