Quirky colour scheme but gives off optimistic and happy vibes. Large sitting room with comfortable seating. Coffee on tap which was a great bonus. Free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to use the gym, so I can't comment on this. Good value breakfast, even though I would have loved my bacon, eggs and beans but I would certainly say their offerings were a much better healthy option. Several pieces of fresh pineapple certainly hit the spot. A very quiet hotel. Handy supermarket right next door for those late-night snacks. Handy tip (not connected to the hotel). Download the SL Journey Planner and fund it before you travel. Do not activate until you land in Sweeden. I found scanning using my phone a total breeze. An excellent plus point is that the Tram stops right outside the hotel.

There is no iron in the room, but they have one in the lobby behind the reception. Rooms a little small and lack of storage for clothing etc.

Pros: -The hotel has a bar and area for relaxing. We pretty much used it every day to wind down. They also have games and a dog corner for dogs to get biscuits I think and perhaps toys. -You can get tea and coffee pretty much the whole day . although sometimes they run out. -ICA supermarket is under the same complex, so is the pharmacy and coffee house. -Tram and bus is right outside. You literally have to cross the road. -It felt secure as you have to use your key card to get acces to the section rooms are located. -Room as stated small, but although it could do with slightly more drawers for clothes. It looked funky and is designed for functionality in a small space. -The curtain is thick. You definitely can get a good rest, if it's quiet. -Colourful room with large window. However be aware there is no openable window. The floors are carpet. So if you suffer dust allergy, not so great. -Beds are nice and soft. Pillows are also soft. If you like soft bed and thin pillow, really great. After walking around we didn't have any aches or pains. In fact, it was better than my own mattress. -There are some restaurants close by and a pub. Tapas place Boca Grande is 10 min walk and they have great food. However almost everything except the supermarket closes at 9 during the week. -When we stayed there, it was cold in January. The room gets cold in the evening. I couldn't get an extra blanket, they didn't have any. But they give you a portable heater. You can use the Aircon too, but it's very loud. -Breakfast at the hotel seemed too basic not many options. So we didn't have it at the hotel. But there is a coffee shop next door. Also a juice bar with a very rich breakfast option two minutes walk and another coffee shop, which offers pastry and salad. -We may choose the hotel for the price again. The price is good compared to other hotels and transport was quick to the location we had to travel.

-Although the room has a window, you can't open it. It's one of those floors to top windows. If you want fresh air, it's only through the ventilation system. Which was not great, considering the room is carpet. -Cleaning was ok, but not great. Could definitely be improved. -Not the hotel's fault, but we had someone pushing a furniture or playing in couple of mornings at 6 am in the room above, which kept waking us up. -We lived from the suitcase. Not much space to put anything around. -We didn't get breakfast at the hotel. To be honest, it looked pretty basic with cheese, egg and pastry. -The area is very quiet. You don't see many people walking around in the evening. Everything shuts down early. -A mini fridge would have been really great.

The rooms were compact but stylishly designed. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The bar had a lovely vibe in the evening with board and card games one could borrow. Brilliantly situated. We walked everywhere, to Sodra malm, central, Gamla Stan. A short walk to commuter boats and a boat to take us to museum island, although we walked there too at other times. An interesting area too. An underground supermarket was next door too which was handy.

No tea & coffee in the rooms, but there was complimentary tea & coffee at all times in the foyer so that was fine!

The hotel/motel was spotless. It was RIGHT on a tram stop (across the street) so very convenient for exploring Stockholm with our 7 day rail pass which covered bus, tram, subway and ferry (and would have taken us to and from the airport, but we elected the faster Arlandia Express route). The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, although a bit cozy. The beds were supportive (and having a separate duvet from my husband on the connected twins bed kept us from fighting for covers) The blackout curtain was excellent for summer sleeping. Breakfast was an array of juices, cereals, breads, cold meats and cheese, crepes with assorted toppings. Less fruit and hot protein options than some buffets we have seen (had soft boiled eggs but no scrambled or bacon, a minor miss). Our reservation had breakfast not included (price was a reasonable 125 KR/pp). Coffee and tea were provided all hours. The lobby bar was a nice meeting place with tons of seating. The hotel provided luggage storage gratis for our early arrival and late departure which was MUCH appreciated. Also appreciated help with storing some refrigerated medicine and help freezing its travel container for travel.

Would have liked to have a refrigerator in the room (but not sure where it would go...) Would have liked to have laundry facilities available or laundry service available, but were told by reception there were none in the neighborhood and none through the hotel. We found limited laundromats on our searches (wondered where visitors go to do laundry) and settled for hand washing several items.

great location - coffee shop and supermarket right next door & tram stop is right outside and a 10/15 min journey to most places. beds were comfy and shower was good! overall facilities were good and hotel was nice and clean, modern and spacious with complimentary tea and coffee plus a bar selling drinks and snacks. Staff were friendly and helpful great value for money !!

We had 4 adults in a family room so the bunk beds were not so comfy and the room was a little small, though this was our own choice really. Didn’t seem to have climate control in the room. The heating was on which was great however it sometimes got a little too hot in the night

Excellent location right by a bus stop and a tram stop so great access into the centre of the city! The beds were extremely comfortable and make sleeping there very relaxing! The shower was excellent with high pressure for a nice warm and relaxing wash.

The downstairs area of the sofas and tables didn’t have much of a vibe and it was usually very quiet and empty, this meant we didn’t really stay there for a drink or breakfast! I also think the staff could be a little more clued up with recommendations and advice about the city. When we asked them about some fun places to visit they didn’t have many suggestions.

The room was small, as is to be expected with European rooms, but comfortable. There were 3 of us, and we were able to rotate through the bathroom and mirror well enough. The small gym/fitness room was nice. We did not have breakfast at the hotel. Staff was polite and helpful. The location right at the tram stop was awesome! I jogged in the neighborhood a few mornings and enjoyed it. There is a grocery store just at the end of the block to grab snacks and essentials.

Absolutely spotless! Everything looks the same as on pictures. Very modern design and decoration. Bathroom was huge in compare to other places I've been to, and I travelled a lot 🙂. As a family with 2 teenagers we all enjoyed chillin' in the lounge downstairs. I would give this place a status of minimum 4 star hotel! Peace and quiet. Thank you for your hospitality 😊

Smell in the staircase. I would suggest to use an air fresheners there as there's no proper air circulation I guess.

Hotel is located in quiet neighbourhood of Stockholm. Hotel is nice, clean and quiet. Just don't take the breakfast - it's the worst one I have ever seen and for the same price you can have decent food in cafes/restaurants nearby. Public transportation - tram is right across the street, which makes visiting of city centre really easy and fast. Boat station is few minutes from the hotel, we took M/S Emelie to visit Vasa museum in Albergert. It was a really nice sight seeing trip for only 6 EUR.

We ordered breakfast for 2 people and paid 23.06 EUR for it. Information on booking.com stated, that there are vegan options. After checking menu, we realized that there are no vegan options and 1 hr before end of breakfast most of the food was gone, so we requested a refund. Employee of hotel refused a refund and told that "This is what you get for 23 EUR" which was very unpolite. When we asked what is there to eat besides bread, cucumbers and tomatoes, he replied that there is "Ham, milk, cheese", which are all non vegan options and also it's a very unprofessional thing to say. We didn't eat the breakfast and left. It's very sad that this breakfast experience was so bad, because we really enjoyed our stay in Motel L until this incident.

The nice room and the location was really perfect. The breakfast was enough and a lot of variations for everybody. We asked for one more towel in the morning we leaved and the clean lady gave us one more.

In the bathroom we missed a place to hang up the wet towels. There was a little railing bewow the sink, but it was nog big enough if both people taking a shower after each other. Also we missed a fridge to store some cold beverages and also we missed a locker in the room.
