The hotel is so unique and beautifully set out and decorated; minimalist but well equipped and with a classy Nordic feel. It is situated right in the centre of the old town and in front of the water opposite some wonderful bars and restaurants. Strong shower and clean shared bathroom and WC with spa soap and shampoo. Very well kept and clean. Communal area supplied with coffee and tea station and ample water and glasses / bottles for rooms with romantic lighting and furs and full Of atmosphere. The hotel staff are fantastic. Took the effort to learn my first name and greet me with it on arrival and departure during my day, had suggestions and just generally went above and beyond. This place is an utter gem!

The only recommendation I’d make is for a shower mat / stand as the shower floor becomes so wet, otherwise perfect.

Loved my stay! Fabulous little character hotel with lots of heritage features noted downstairs. Fantastic location right in Gamla Stan making it so easy to walk to many points of interest. Lovely staff having met both Johnny and Mattias during my stay….very kind, welcoming and helpful and nothing was a problem for them. Loved learning the history of the hotel. Great communication before & during my stay with hotel updates. Wifi works really well. Loved my room….central heating was great…got too hot I had to turn it off! Bathroom was new - toilet and shower work similar to a plane system in how it empties - really cool! Tea/coffee facilities not in room but you can help yourself in the little areas they have provided for this & fresh water available too. Great value for money especially for the location! Great Skeppsbron bakery across the road to eat brekky whilst looking at water views. Would I stay again - most definately!

Unique and cool room with its own toilet and shared shower. The hotel only has 11 rooms and it's a cool smaller place to stay. Room nr 9 has a beautiful mural and I really enjoyed my stay in the "cave" There is a small seating area / lounge with free coffee and water. The staff is very friendly and helpful, I'd give an extra star/point just for reception.

Bare in mind the rooms are small and there is no'option for breakfast. This was absolutely no problem for me but keep in mind if you feel that's important.

Excellent location, this hotel is only a few steps from the water and very close to the centre of Old Town. The room was clean and comfortable, the perfect size for a solo traveller although may be a little snug for two (deluxe twin). The two members of staff I met were very helpful and friendly. I was called before I arrived to confirm my room choice and was able to check in early. Would stay here again.

There was a little noise from the nearby road, although nothing unexpected.

The amazing location of the hotel, right in the old city (Gamla Stan) of Stockholm makes it one of the best choices when it comes to getting accommodated in this city as this way you are in walking range to all major sites in Stockholm. The personnel was extremely nice and paid attention to make my stay as much comfortable as possible being very keen to solve any problem it might have appeared.

Very nice location right in the Old town near the beautiful embankment, the building itself is attractive too. The room has everything you need for a short stay, beds are clean and comfortable too. Everything worked well in the bathroom. The hotel receptionist is extremely friendly and helpful, we are very thankful for that! :) Check-in and check-out went smoothly. Would definitely come back!

Everything is good, rooms might be small for a longer trip, but we enjoyed our stay there anyway!

Excellent location in the beautiful old town. Ease of communication with reception, ensuring a smooth check-in. Stockholm is an extremely expensive city so if you want a private room in a central location, you need to pay for it - or compromise a little. The compromises here were that the room was very small and there was no window. However, I knew about these things before as they were clearly stated on the website so this is not a criticism. Some people might not wish to make these compromises, but for those who are willing to do so, I would say this property is an excellent choice. I would certainly stay there again.

Hotel was in a good location.

When we arrived the room we were given did not match the description of the room we had booked. It took a little while but the person on reception contacted a manager who was off site and we were eventually offered a choice of two other rooms.

Everything... Everyone tried to accomodate me n my mom who has difficulties with her mobility the best way they can.. Communication and hospitality are the best. The hotel itself is beautiful from the 1600s..It was still freezing outside, but felt warm inside. They have common room for us to stay after checking out before the time for departure. Love it.. Would definitely come back

It might need a towel hanger in the bathroom

Location was good for hop on hop off bus. There are shops and food cafes 5 mins walk away, walking through the cobblestone streets. Great atmosphere around location. The manager Johnny was one of a kind, nothing was to hard for him to sort out, he helped us greatly, even hopping in the car to show us the where parking garage was. They have fridge and tea, coffee in shared space.

The room windows where a bit hard to keep open, as this is a old, but lovely historical building. Need more towel rack spaces.
