Lydmar Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel where you can see different interior styles in the rooms and corridors each and every floor. The most sightseeing attractions are walkable distance, and you can reach to Djurgården in 20~30 minutes by taking a bus or tram. We upgraded our room to Medium King Room because we needed a bigger wardrobe. The room was clean & well-designed, and the bathroom was big enough. The bed and pillows were very comfy and warm even though it was below -10 sometimes during our stay. We'd love to give our special thanks to all the staff at the reception and the restaurant for their warm hospitality and kind help. "All of you made our trip much more delightful. Thank you!!"

It would be great if they could set up some more cabinets or wardrobes for longer stay travellers' convenience.

This hotel is superb in every way. We have stayed at several ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’, each varying sizeably in standard but without hesitation, we would class The Lydmar Hotel at the very top end and certainly justifies being a small, luxury hotel. Apart from the excellent location (a short walk away from the City District, the old town, and various other islands), the food here is a delight. The standard of cleanliness is exceptionally high, it offers spacious rooms and unlike most cities, it is very quiet. What really makes this hotel however is it’s staff. They are extremely professional, courteous and friendly. The welcome is warm from the moment you arrive and they go out of their way to provide assistance with restaurant recommendations, taxi bookings and provide a very good account of ‘Fika’!! Special mention must however be given to the face’ of The Lydmar Hotel, the gentleman who is ‘front of house’, the gentleman who arranged our anniversary dinner and who, quite simply, is a credit to the hotel.

Absolutely nothing

The location was perfect! Near everything, but not in the middle of the over touristic area. Staff was super friendly! Every evening made dinner reservations for us and we loved all of them! Beautiful building! Delicious breakfast!

The room looked clean, but on the last day, when we looked under the bed to make sure we hadn’t forgotten anything, it was really dirty!

This amazing hotel is like a home. With impeccable staff, always trying to make you feel very welcome, an excellent restaurant, and all spaces very, very clean; The rooms are of a very nice size, with sofa and chairs , and well taken care of, they offer you extreme comfort. The photographs decorating the lobby, and the rooms, are worthy of being praised! My bathroom had a walk in shower, which is essential for me, and a very good size. What didn’t I like? The hotel and room was beautiful and comfortable. The location was amazing. We took a taxi from the hotel and they sent a driver with a board with my name on it which is so comforting when you’re in a new city. The restaurant and food was so good and convenient being in the restaurant. Above all else the staff was absolutely amazing, helpful and respectful. They honestly went above and beyond in so many ways that I don’t have enough room to type them in this survey.

I always like providing some feedback but this one is hard. I honestly don’t have a single complaint.

Breakfast was a good mix of cooked options,fruit,pastries etc For our taste coffee and tea were very weak. Excellent location within walking distance of attractions and very pretty on the waterfront. Staff were very helpful and informative.

Main menu was a little limited so we ate out a few times . Many restaurants close by. Room was not overly spacious and tv needed updating as it was not always working that well. However we hardly needed it as there was so much to do.

Location was perfect. Breakfast each morning was excellent . Front desk personnel were friendly , accommodating and went out of their way to help . Room was lovely and the room outside the room was great as well.

Nothing - we both really enjoyed our time there. Didn’t feel the need to go out after a long day of activities. Night cap at the restaurant/bar with dessert was a perfect ending

Amazing stay at a small, boutique hotel. Great service, awesome breakfast, comfortable sized rooms with a nice "living room" common area for each floor. Walking distance to everything from shopping, to museums (it's right next to National Museum), Opera House, Vassa, Nobel, and more. Front desk (esp Sarah) was really helpful with making reservations, suggestions, etc. We had a large king room and view of river. Really nice stay... We will return!

The location of the hotel is very central but quiet and beautiful, with wonderful views from the rooms facing the seaside. The breakfast, served in exceptionally nice and cosy surroundings, was excellent. The interior decor of the hotel was unusual, artistic and exciting. The young staff were most polite and helpful.

The illumination of the bathroom could be better.

This is a superb hotel. The reception is quite busy and is a small area but the staff are super friendly and efficient. There are such nice ornaments and artwork that I was kept busy just staring at them. I sourced and bought some of them later, so great was the decor. We upgraded our room and it was huge, luxurious and comfy. The hotel is quiet & peaceful and very convenient to everything. We used the scooters outside so that was fun. The breakfast is awesome. Sooooo good.
