Everything. Beginning from the first impression - the very beautiful and colorful lobby, the bar, the very kind, professional and helpful stuff, that also arranged for me earlier entrance in the room as scheduled, since I arrived really early in the city and asked if there is any possibility for that. You can also leave your luggage there. The room - same as in the photos, big enough for me, cute and stylish, very clean. I liked the glasses for water, the quality of the liquid soap, shower gel and body lotion in the bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable. And to finish with the restaurant where the breakfast was served - very, very beautiful, with big windows and view of a garden. The breakfast offer was miscellaneous. I would sort it in the direction to 5* hotel - really good decorations that drew my attention and everything was tasty. Very nice dessert too. To mention that the location is quite central, one could get on foot, if wants to have a little walk, but the connection to public transport was very good only 2 min to bus and tram, that are really frequent. You get a city card in the hotel with which you don't pay for the tickets and to 50% off for visiting museums. I'd definitely stay again in this hotel! .
Everything perfect.

Nice room, feels spacious. Good desk for work. Plenty of options for breakfast
There was no kettle, just a coffee maker that you can use to boil water, but the tea cups don't fit well beneath the machine, so it's a bit of a hassle to make tea. A kettle would be better! It's a bit of a walk from Basel Bad. If you can choose between staying on the Swiss side or German side of the city, it's better to stay at the Swiss side, because the German side is poorer, has more bums walking around. So the location of this hotel isn't perfect but it's safe enough though, I stayed together with my boyfriend but I would stay by myself as a female alone too.

Room 310 * very nice and friendly staff * good location * bus stop almost opposite the hotel * nice size of room, and bathroom * conformable bed * delicious, fresh breakfast (warm and cold food, a lot of choices, good quality, good for vegetarians as well) * free water in the room and at the reception * gym/fitness
* tea/coffee maker Water container full of dust. Really looks like no one used this fancy maker long time and it was dirty inside. Also, the tray for sugar etc. was dirty. Even the shelve where the equipment was lying on was covered by dust. Probably housekeeping presume that this part of the room is still "clean". Isn't clean at all! For 4* hotel this shouldn't happen. I discovered it at 22:00, after whole day of travelling and exploring the city so I was too tired to go to the reception and report it. Next day, during the check out I told the staff about it and they offered me a cup of tea for freeAnyway, instead 10 score, the hotel has got 8 because of that.

Very good room, with a view on to the garden. Great thing is socket with different shapes, so you dont need to use any switch. Bed is very confortable, and room si clean. Mini bar is free of charge if you want to use it. Inside a min bar are some soda, water, and beer. Breakfast is very good, enough choice for eating usualy or sweet breakfast, diferent type of juices (orange, multivitamin, grape...), coffee as you wish (machiato, expresso, long, short, with milk..). Stuff is very polite and so kind, ready to help you at any time. Location is good, close enough to old town. Anyway if you dont like to walk, you can rent a bike in hotel and drive around a city. All city is bike friendly city so I highly recommend to rent a bike and go to sightseen witha a bike. Bycicle is electrical so even an older quests could drive it. Great hotel, great experience, definitely I will use this hotel again.

Top position, easy to reach all city areas with bus and tram. There are also a couple of good Asian restaurants close to the hotel - Nua - the dumpling spirit & Boo Klybeck. We have been there to take part to the famous Basel carnival, the staff at the reception has given us all needed information. There is also the possibility to have breakfast at 3AM before going to the morgenstreich. Excellent breakfast buffet, there is everything you wish and the quality is very good. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
We were 2 people and asked to have dinner at the restaurant, but we have been told that they were waiting for a big group (that was enjoying the apero at the bar). There was space for us and time to cook 2 burgers before the big group would have moved to the restaurant....but thanks to this we discovered nice restaurant in the neighbourhood.

We really enjoyed our comfortable and quiet room, especially after we were informed that we have a free upgrade. Maybe the upgrade was moving us to garden view which was great as the room was very quiet. Next morning, the breakfast was very tasty, with big variety and fresh products.
It was difficult to find parking around the hotel and 25 CHF/night is quite expensive to leave it at the hotel parking.

Polite and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. Tea and coffee options ana a bottle of water were provided in the room. Basel Card that provides free access to the public transport and discounts in city attractions imbecomes quite handy.
The room size was a bit small. The location is generally good, but not the top for Basel city. It takes 15 minutes of walking to Basel Bad Bahnhof, and about 30 minutes to Basel SBB. However, public transport may be convenient. I preferred to walk.

Breakfast was awesome, with great coffee and lots of selection for even the fussy eater. It's 7-10 am though, even on weekends so I would recommend prolonging it to 11 am on Saturday/Sunday, but this is more a business hotel than family. Our Apartment room was fantastic. Huge beds, very comfy pillows, and bedding. Huge bathroom and blackout curtains. I slept like a baby. The coffee in the room was great, and the fridge and all types of kitchenware, you can't go wrong. Daily cleaning was superb. The towels weren't very fluffy but now I am nitpicking. Overall, we got a great deal on the hotel I booked 9 months ago, and it's definitely worth the splurge if you want comfort with family. Bus #30 gets you to Bahnhof in 10 mins and #50 gets you to the airport in 20. Overall, this place was perfect for our stay. Tip: there is a great Indian restaurant around the corner that is cheap, called Chickpea.
Nothing.

The breakfast selection was nice. The staff is very helpful. Location is quite convenient to access the public transport or walking to the city. I was glad to find that the hotels provide guest cards for free public transport and other discounts for nearby attractions.
Parking is difficult around the hotel. The room was supposed to have a kitchenette. However, the microwave was not working and the maintenance staff did not manage to fix it during our stay. At some point all appliances stopped working due to having no power in kitchenette which unfortunately caused the food in the fridge to go bad.

Friendly staff, clean and very spacious room. Well decorated, too, as a bonus. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice of literally anything you would want from a continental breakfast. The highlight was a free "Basel card" for the duration of our stay which allowed us to use public transport for free, as well as accessing museums at half price during our stay. Generous breakfast time (7 to 11) with just as welcome late checkout at midday.
