This is a pleasing, well decorated room hosted by a kind, fun, and helpful woman. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower had good hot water. We appreciated having a small fridge, electric kettle, and espresso machine with capsules. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of this small historic town, lively by day and quiet at night. Window has a nice view. We loved the scenic mountain hiking on Moleson.

We loved the location right in the middle of the old town with beautiful scenery out of every window. The rooms had old wooden beams and the bed was a nice queen size. Each room had a separate bathroom with a nice Swiss-made hair dryer.

This is not an issue with the property but the flies were a constant nuisance. We questioned the food from the restaurants in Gruyère due to the amount of flies in the evening.

The location was incredible; so beautiful! lt is within the town fortified by castle walls and close to both the castle and the Maison de Gruyères. The Maison Cailler was only an hour walk away. The room was also very close to some beautiful nature views. Chantal was very welcoming and accomodating and speaks English well

Awesome location, a cozy design (pictures are worse than the room in reality), and a very friendly owner. The location is also great.

Hard to pick something, I would add a humidifier/proper ventilation in the bathroom, as there is the smell of humidity.

The hostess was very welcoming and offered us an upgrade following a last minute misunderstanding. We appreciated the beautiful apartment we were offered in an authentic fourteenth century building with impeccable decor. Chantal was very caring.

The host welcomed us very warmly. She treated us perfect! The room was amazingly cozy and beautiful, very clean and also provided us some coffee. Very comfortable and i wish we had the time to stay more. Suggest 100%

The apartment is just by "the chalet" meaning you are right at the end of the street. It was a nice terrace that would be lovely on other seasons, we could not enjoy due that it is cold and snowing. The apartment has so many artistic details, but the cherry in the pie are Chantal and Stephan. So nice, so welcoming, so inviting! we definitaly want to come back, and stay there again if we can!!!

The hostess was amazing , friendly and very accommodating. The room was so charming and comfortable. There was a park bench outside our window were we would sit to drink wine and people-watch. Very relaxing

The internet was a little unreliable in the room close to the front, but perfect if we went into the hallway. Our room was on the first floor and if we kept the windows open, it was sometimes loud when vendors were setting up in the morning. We simply closed the windows.

Everything was awesome! I totally recommend this place. Chantal was super friendly and helpful. The place is very nicely renovated with a lot of love for any details, it is comfortable and practical. And at the best location in the wonderful historic village of Gruyère.

Perfect location in the middle of everything in Gruyères. Very hospitable owners and lovely place with a terrace and small kitchen. Stand up shower which we love (no getting in and out of a tub bath!). We used the terrace a lot and really enjoyed it. Overall, much nicer than staying in any hotel for the space and terrace alone. We would definitely stay here again when in Gruyères.
