The staff was really helpful and nice, simply & easy check-in without any hassle. It is only located about 5 minutes away from the Interlaken West train station. The location is perfect, for those who want to have a quiet time. The Medical Store (Apotheke) and the Grocery Store (Coop) are literally 2-3 minutes away from the Hotel. For those who love to hike, Harder Klum is just around the corner. The Hotel also offers a Special Voucher for travelling in Interlaken which I found nice for those who don't have a Swiss Travel Card (GA). There is also a Laundry room where you can wash your clothes along with the dryer. The night view is absolutely exotic, especially if you go around the back of the Hotel. There is also a very exotic Lebanese Restaurant just near the Coop for those who want to try out something different. The room I was in was on the first floor with a Balcony, the view during the evening was very nice. There is also a Pizzeria on the ground floor. The prices are pretty well & reasonable for the place. All in all I would definitely check this place out again when I visit Interlaken.

Just small gripes here : The curtains should be a bit thicker, they seem to be a bit too thin and a bit see-through. Due to the nature of the building, I could easily hear the voices from the next door & also if someone was walking a floor above.

Inès, the lady on the reception was so helpful and she made us feel like home. She recommended many things to do in the area. The location was very close to the centet. The breakfast was also good. In general the vibes of the hotel are very nice and we would definetely come again.

Amazing historic stay! This place has great value for the price, a tasty breakfast, and a great location. The staff is so kind. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

This is rated as a 2-star hotel but it could easily be a 3-star. The room I was in was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb, with a wide selection of breakfast options and organic eggs cooked to order (they were delicious scrambled). Kim and her staff (except one) were very friendly and helpful, including the staff who were doing breakfast. There was also a self-serve washer and dryer on the property which was very handy (although they were very old and didn't work well all the time).

The older gentleman on staff was incredibly rude and argumentative when I reported issues with the dryer. He refused to help and called me an idiot, which was incredibly disrespectful and offensive. Unfortunately this really soured my experience at the hotel, which was otherwise fantastic. Also the bathroom was very small, but having the basin/sink in the room (rather than the bathroom) made a bit more room. It also allowed for a bigger sink and was very handy for hand washing, filling water bottles, etc. There is no lift in the hotel (understandable given the age of the hotel) so if you have a lot/heavy luggage, request a room on a lower floor

Great welcome by Kim who took the time to explain everything. Fantastic breakfast, had something cooked for me each morning. Good location for food options and easy 2 minute walk to the train station. Very attentive house cleaning and breakfast staff.

There was a grumpy man at reception for a few days. I observed him being totally inappropriate (swearing, belittling and extremely disrespectful) to females on two separate occasions. Additionally, he was also rude to my female friend, he was dismissive and actually called her an Idiot which was upsetting to hear.

Quaint, charming, family run hotel. One of my favorite places we stayed at in Switzerland. It truly does justice to getting around the town of Interlaken as it is located very close to Interlaken West. There is a self-service laundry unit (single washer, single dryer). There is also a lovely breakfast, with eggs upon request. It's a very homey, quiet, and lovely hotel.

Please be advised there is no elevator/lift. There are only three floors, however. We stayed on the third floor, and I did not find taking my bag up once and down once to be difficult. Plus, it's Switzerland, you'll be walking lots anyway.

The lady in the reception (my bad I forgot to ask her name) was very kind to explain everything to us clearly. We could leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. The hotel looks beautiful from outside. An old yet charming atmosphere inside. The rooms were modern. We had a balcony with partial view of mountains. The breakfast was quite good, one can also order eggs according to their choice. But overall I felt the breakfast can be improved a little bit more for this price. I like the location very much, it is near the river and canals with beautiful views. It is near the Interlaken west station, so one may need to travel to Interlaken Ost for some connections. But there are frequent trains from west to ost, and also the hotel provides city guest card to access local transport with some additional benefits of other types.

The room was small, the sink was inside the room. The phone charging point is not very near to the bed which can be problem.

Location was perfect with the bus stop, Interlaken West train station, a coop, a pharmacy in proximity. The breakfast was good. Luggage storage possible if you pick it up early in evening. The room was spacious and clean. The location was central yet quiet.

The hotel is somewhat like with a restaurant in the entrance to the building. So the reception doesn't work round the clock. So late checkin wont be possible I guess and if we store luggage after check out it has to be planned to be picked up before the reception closes. We were late to pick up luggage we had left, but the restaurant was still open, and they helped us to unlock the hotel's living room to pick our luggages.

Good location a short walk from the town centre and railway station. Parking was available on the premises but this can't always be guaranteed. Very good to receive free travel passes for local public transport whilst we were there. Bar and restaurant in the hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very comfortable and large bed, Room was quite compact but did have a balcony with seating and a table. Kettle and tea/coffee making facilities always appreciated.

Bathroom was very cramped. Lack of toiletries was surprising for this class/price of hotel, just a few sachets of liquid soap provided.

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. From the very friendly, hardworking and helpful staff to the beautiful and comfortable accommodations. Walking distance to the Interlaken west train station, in a quiet, non commercial area. Perfect location for a quiet getaway. Be sure to book a room with a view and balcony as spending time on the balcony was the best thing after long days exploring. The room was spotless, had a comfortable bed with nice linens and was spacious. It was quiet and peaceful and within a block to the Coop grocery store. Their breakfast was lovely and staff even prepared eggs for their guests. The onsite restaurant served wonderful meals by friendly and efficient staff. Don’t miss eating there… the orange chicken was delicious! There was onsite laundry (a bit expensive) but I could do a load conveniently so I took advantage of it. A wonderful Swiss experience. Our only regret was the fact we couldn’t stay longer as we needed to travel back home. Definitely a family run and homey stay. You won’t be disappointed.

The property didn’t have an elevator, however staff helped us with our bags. Much appreciated. Everything else about this hotel was perfect.
