Great location, facilities are cleaned multiple times per day, great view from room and rooftop, staff speaks good English. This is the best hostel I have stayed in Europe!

Just a small thing but in the kitchen the sensors should be placed differently because when you stop moving the lights turn off immediately and then you kinda have to sit in the dark. Also there is no proper couch in the common areas, I understands it's perhaps to stop people from sleeping there but it wasn't really possible to relax in the common area due to this.

Location excellent. Close from Interlaken OST and even closer from Interlaken WEST station(Walking distance 10 mins hardly) anyone who is travelling to stay at this property should get off and Interlaken west station and simply walk to hostel. Since the hostel has a self check in process no one was available at the reception, available on request though. But I suggest that atleast one representative must be available, as not everyone is that tech savy. Beds in the mixed dorms are beyond horrible makes too much noise while climbing up and while sleeping. Our room size hauntingly bad. Extremely small for 4 people to share. View from shared terrace is fabulous. Shared kitchen and meeting new people from various parts of the world. The bathrooms are good but unfortunately not attached with the rooms which was a huge disappointment. This should be mentioned at the booking page. So about 4 bathroom to shared with N numbers of guests which in our case was manageable but it must be mentioned. Beds I can't point out enough how bad they are. But still i can stay again at the property as overall experience was good. Common areas are good too.

Enjoyed our stay here! Loved the location and easy access to everything. Accomodation was clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming and full of local knowledge that was very helpful. The facilities were good and the upstairs common area and balcony was fantastic.

Not the biggest issues but the power kept turning off in the kitchen while we were trying to cook meals. Staff were happy and quick to fix it but got a little annoying when it happened repeatedly two nights in a row, might just be a something Alplodge could look into fixing for future guests. Other than that our stay was wonderful though :)

Beautiful and expensive riverside view from the room and the terrace pantry. Very close to train station, bus stops and many shops. In front of halal restaurant & grocery shop. There’s an elevator to carry luggage. Good shared facilities.

The room is very small. Barely any space to open luggage.

Very rich breakfasts, quiet in the night (except the bed:D), clean room with room service every day. Great place - it's right in the city centre, shops are close, you can do hikes comfortly. At the arrival, you'll get a card for different discounts for your trips and free city shuttles!

Seriously, get rid of those terrible beds!:D you would have so much better reviews! In the night it feels like you'll wake up all people in Interlaken if you move in the bed. We expected it from the reviews here, but it is really bad anyway. :D

The staff was very nice and the breakfast was great! The window gave a view to the mountains so it was really nice.

You could hear the noise from the bedroom but it got quiet after 10pm. The floor was also a bit squeaky, but nothing too disturbing.

Really nice location, close to train station (Intelamen west) and the river is just beautiful. Rooms were nice. Breakfast is nice but not worth 20 franks if it’s not included in your room already by. Staff were friendly. Kitchen and common area with terrace is really nice.

Beds were very squeaky so if someone above/below you moved, it would wake me up. Only four bathrooms for everyone. The door to the room was difficult to close. Dryer stole my money the first time and didn’t dry my clothes the second time. 5 franks for washing and 5 for drying. Overpriced for the quality of the machines.

The shared rooms were very nice. The view from the shared room was amazing, you could see the sunrise and the sunset from the bedroom window which was beautiful. The shared common room was terrific with another beautiful view over the city. The kitchen was very nice with a full set of utensils and was a good area to meet new people.

The kitchen, including the refrigerator, was sometimes dirty and should be better cleaned. However, everything else was very clean and was very accommodating to my needs.

The location is awesome - so close to the Interlaken West rail station and right along the river. There’s a lovely kitchen where you can cook food (the market is only 1 block away), and a balcony with great views where you can enjoy your meal. The shared bathroom is fine as long as you don’t plan a shower in 8-10pm time. I would definitely stay here again.

The only complaint was the bed was a bit soft for my liking and the pillow was not as full as I would like. But minor things.

Almost everything! Responsive staff, easy check-in and check-out process, great got, high pressure showers. Great location!

The USB plugin near my bed didn't always work which resulted in my phone not charging through the night. Additionally, could only find one wall outlet in dorm room for everyone to share. Otherwise, loved this place and would recommend!
