Nice hotel with free parking. The rooms can be either twins or doubles, and the staff are happy to arrange that. Good WiFi. Walkable to the city center, and right next to a bus stop. The city pass includes free public transportation, and the hotel will e-mail it to you before arrival if necessary.

Breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was, but it was good.

Excellent location and a very spacious room for a family of 5. Great and easy check in. Samer assisted us and was an absolute delight. I had a rough flight and he gave me words of support and encouragement. Excellent customer service and willing to help and assist with all enquiries. Great bedding and shower easy to use with a spacious bathroom . Small fridge and added bonus. Didn’t have breakfast as leaving early but could see a great spread available with a great sitting area. Walking distance to Lucerne and walking past some great restaurants. Supermarket close by and parking available

Room got a bit warm however there was 5 of us in the room.

I like room, especially bed and pillows are very good quality for sleeping. Everything is clean and comfortable. I used public bus, which has bus stops in front of the hotel. The buses connect to the city and attractive places and Luzern train station.

I traveled in summer season. The room was bit warm temperature during day time. However, it's comfortable cool in night time. If you go out for travelling whole day will be OK. The hotel provided electric fan in room.

Convenient location, beautiful views around the hotel, easy parking. Room was well laid out with everything I needed. Samer, the gentleman who worked at the frontdesk was fabulously friendly, wonderfully patient and helpful to help me figure out how to get to old town (very close) and figuring out the transportation (with trams running literally in front of the property!). A complete delight. Having the restaurant on site made breakfast very convenient and everything was fresh and tasty.

The bathroom was small but that is often the case in European hotel rooms

We were very happy sleeping all together as a family of 5. We each had our bed and the covers and pillows were really comfortable. The space was used as best as possible. The location was great, moving on bus no. 1 was very easy and convenient, just at our door step.

We were room 30, on the last floor and carrying our luggage was a bit too much. All stairs and heavy luggage. The room at night felt a little warm. We had 2 portable fans on at all time trying to cover the 5 beds. It was not enough.

- staff is very friendly & helpful, the hotel does not have elevator, my mum is senior citizen, they helped to carry the bags during check in & check out when we asked for help - early check in available when room is ready - very spacious room & bathroom - many plug points available - hotel location right at the bus stop, so convenient

- a bit pricey - no elevator/lift, need to carry large luggage bags up the stairs ownself - front desk closes at 5.30pm, no staff available after that

The staffs are very nice that you will get warm hospitality and all the information you need. The transportation is so convenient, and you can get almost all the bus to this hotel from anywhere. And the breakfast is phenomenal! All the breads are warmed up. It is the only hotel with that kind of service.

The fan in the bathroom is a little but loud and you cannot turn that off. But if you close the bathroom door you won’t hear that noise. So it is fine for us.

The lady at the reception on 27th May morning received us warmly. That just set the right tone for the entire trip - she provided us with the guest passes by email so we had it on the phone to avail discounts and also free bus travel within Luzern area. She helped us with detailed maps and advice on main attractions. The room was also provided slightly earlier for us to check in which was super helpful. The lady who served breakfast all days from 27 to 30 May from 7.45am onwards - we cannot thank her enough! She was extremely courteous, very helpful and was so patient with us and everyone else! She is highly commended and an asset to Spatz Hotel! Thanks a lot to her from our family for making our stay very enjoyable. The room had a mini fridge which was so helpful. The days were warm and we could keep a couple of drinks and of course chocolates from melting! Thanks for that. The linen was just right and housekeeping were fantastic all days. On the last day we were also able to keep our luggage at the lobby (kept very safely) while we squeezed out the last few hours of our vacation enjoying the sights and scenery.

The additional bed which was graciously provided by the hotel staff could have been a slightly different one, i.e. it was squeaky as it was one of those spring ones and maybe that could have been a bit better as our child found it a bit difficult to sleep in. Otherwise everything else was great.

Convenient location from downtown and transport hub. Bus stop is right outside and you can get to town area in 5 minutes.

Close to the road means it can be a bit noisy from traffic, but can be managed by shutting the windows.

VERY CLOSE TO LUZERN TRAIN STATION, 5 MIN AWAY, RIGHT OPP BUS STATION, ROOM WAS QUIET AND COMFORTABLE, EXCELLENT OWNER AND EXCELLENT STAFF VERY CO-OPERATIVE. WILL DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN SAME PLACE AND RECOMMEND OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO STAY HERE. AS WE HAD TO VISIT MANY PLACE IN SWITZERLAND AND THIS WAS OUR STARTING POINT, SO I REQUESTED OWNER TO KEEP MY SUITCASE FOR 10 DAYS & HE WILLINGLY CO-OPERATED FOR THE SAME, WE WERE QUITE HAPPY AND RELAXED FOR OUR ENTIRE SWISS JOURNEY, IT MEANS LOT TO US. THANKYOU ONCE AGAIN.
