I had booked a single room, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. With additional desk space, which in my case was important. The bathroom is spacious and clean enough. The location is fantastic, near the station and the old town, one step away from everything. Poor and expensive breakfast, I only had breakfast at the hotel one day, since the price was high €20, for a mediocre buffet. There are many places around with better quality and price

I did not like that there is no reception in the same hotel, for the price of the room it is an important lack, although I understand the reasons that were explained to me about the circumstances of saving due to the pandemic situation. I also did not like that I could not reserve parking, I requested it via email beforehand and they did not answer me and then there was no place. The idea of ​​renting a car park at the station at the same price as the hotel is not very interesting because you cannot have the car intermittently (it is rented by the day and the car has to remain in the car park), something very rare. I did not use this offer

Steps away from the Luzern bahnhof and a variety of restaurants in the vicinity. Minutes away from the Old Town and sights and numerous other attractions the city has to offer. Staff was friendly and was prompt in providing another fan when the one in our room stopped working. Facility was clean and appears in the process of being updated floor by floor. For American visitors who are not familiar with "old time" elevators, the lift IS SMALL and it does not open automatically - pull the door handle and then turn to your right and push the door when you reach your floor or you'll think you're stuck. Was a great place to stay.

They are in the process soon as I have been told of installing A/C units in the rooms. While I cannot fault the hotel or staff for the hot weather we experienced, our only way of cooling relief was to run both fans and keep the balcony door open as well as the window. Overall it was not a terrible experience to be without an A/C, but if you have to have an A/C just note that this property has not installed them yet. The hospitality for this property however was great.

It was a 2 minute walk to train station. It was close to restaurants, bars, shops, downtown, the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful. The view from our room was stunning. We were on the 5th floor and there was a lift which was great. The beds were comfortable and we were greeted with a small plate of fruit and coffee and tea upon our arrival.

No air conditioning,and we were on the 5th floor., so it was a bit hot. They provided 2 fans but it was still warm.

The staff were wonderful and I believe it was worth what we paid for. The breakfast was very nice with a lovely selection of what you would expect of a buffet breakfast.

Friday nights and Saturday nights are very noisey with drunk people out on the streets till early hours. The hotel has a couple of bars underneath. However they do supply earplugs but if you're a light sleeper you will still hear.

The hotel staff was very polite and humble. The hotel accommodation is decent but the location is perfect. I commuted to different cities from the train station right across the street from the hotel. Additionally, the hotel staff was very helpful with follow up queries for to go places and local transportation passes.

Very clean, very helpful staff and great location by the train station. Rooms are small but have all the necessities.

Location is near night construction and pizza restaurant. Noisy from both virtually all night long. They do give you earplugs, and you will really need them to get a good night's sleep.

Plus: 1. Location opposite train station, only 1-2 min walk 2. Breakfast is yummy with hot selection, good variety

Minus: 1. Need to walk a few metres without shelter to Moropol for breakfast. Too bad if it is pouring 2. Quaint but very narrow lift. Look out for the different exit door.

Location was the best. Just 3 mins walk from the train station. The room was large and I love the bathroom the most. One of the biggest so far. Everything was clean and spotless. Breakfast was great too. Many options to choose from. Staff were very friendly at the reception. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff during breakfast had no smile and seemed rather hostile.

The fruit platter I received was very welcome. I also appreciated the coffee and tea maker (separate) and the TV

When you arrive late you have to do the check-in at the hotel Monopol. After a long trip not what you want to do

It was a great location near the train station. Easy walking to the Old Town and all the sights.

The room was pretty hot .
