it is a short walking distance to Lake St. Moritz and 2 big supermarkets.

I inadvertently booked a deluxe room and a standard room. The deluxe room is in the original building. The room and furnitures are aged and lacked of maintenance. The bathroom is so small that only a petite sized person can move freely. The shower door could not be shut because they were not lined up. The next day I moved to a standard room that is in the new wing. the room is only a bit smaller than the so called “deluxe room”. Since it is newer, I like it better than the deluxe room.

Easy connection from station, bust dropped us right at the entrance of hotel from station exit. And vice Versa, reception staff was pleasant and 6 helpful.

Breakfast was poorly managed by the overseeing lady. She was curt and made no effort to replenish food stuff that over while still 45 minutes before closing time. One meek couple only got some fruits to eat. Those who came earlier may have had better experience. I would say worst attitude by a breakfast room manager. Totally inadequate.

The room was extremely spacious, and with sofa and table. Toilet/bathroom was super spacious as well, with proper shower room segmentized by glass. Bed was very comfortable.

The bar in the toilet for hanging the bath towels or for guests to hang clothes were way too high. For Asians females who might be shorter at about 155cm to 168 cm range, those are too high! Pillows. Pillows were too soft and were unable to offer any support. But we realise that such super soft pillows were common across the entire switzerland, as it was the same situation with all the other hotels we stayed. By super soft, i mean that once you place your head there, it;s as if the pillow wasnt there. lol. and you are just lying flat. There should be power plugs near the bed to facilitate guests to charge their devices or within easy reach. Would be good if the hotel actually offers complimentary room slippers.

Central location, friendly staff and good food

As an elderly man, I do not like bunk beds. If I had know this was the single room I would not have booked. It was certainly not the single room shown on Booking.com

The location is excellent! The bus stop is just outside the hotel. The food in their restaurant was good also…we loved their pizza and pasta! Comfortable bed and clean room…we only stayed for one night…it was a nice stay!

Maybe, they should inform their guests that they changed their name to Ricardo’s already…we cannot find Hotel Piz…glad that we asked someone and he informed us that we are just standing across Hotel Piz already…the name is now Ricardo’s…no signage of Hotel Piz outside…

The cleanliness of the rooms and the spaces. The breakfast was quite varied and tasty. The position was perfect to visit the city and walk around the lake.

The Wi-Fi connection was terrible or rather, there was none if not right in front of the door. The pillows were way to thin and flat. The heating couldn’t be controlled from the room and it was extremely hot…all night. A little noisy at times, we were startled every now and then by banging noises from downstairs. The view from our room was horrible, buildings and walls all around. No view of anything.

We stayed in the apartment which consists of two separate rooms, one with a double bed, dining table, sofa and small en suite and the second with a double, single bed and slightly larger bathroom. There is a small kitchen in between. This was excellent for our group of 5 and the rooms were clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was reasonable and dinner in the adjoining restaurant was practical and tasty. Overall, great value for money.

Unsure if able to adjust the temperature in the room - was a little cool in the evening but not too bad at all.

It was centrally located. Bus stop was right in front of the hotel so traveling became easy. The restaurant had various vegetarian options for dinner. Room was spacious and clean. The reception was quite big and had an elevator to go to first floor so carrying luggage became easy.

The reception had run out of universal adaptors so we could not charge our phones. We had to ultimately buy one. The temperature in the room was warm so we had to sleep with the windows open. The AC was not working.

The room was clean and with two bottles of water per day free of charge. We were late arrival and had a dinner at Maloja dining room and served by the waiters named , Mr Luca and Mr Roberto DM. They were professional and full of smile. we were satisfied with their work done. At the same time, we would like to say “Thank you” to the two female receptionists who were helpful to our queries. overall we had a fantastic stay!

Room was great and comfortable. Location was good as it was near the lake and grocery stores. Bus stops right out the front door.

Asked for an extra bed in the room but realized it came with a pull out couch so cancelled. When arrived pull out couch had no sheets or spare blankets in the room. When we asked for extra linen, we were told we would be charged and all they could provide was a toddler blanket for my 7 year old as they didn't have any other linen in the hotel.
