The hotel's location is PERFECT! It's a few steps from the Thalwil train station AND the boat station of Lake Zurich. We were able to go to Zurich via boat and enjoyed the sights and activities over the water in Lake Zurich. Our room had a balcony that had a good partial view of the lake. This is also close to the bus station that you can take to the Lindt Chocolate Museum. Overall, I would come back to this hotel!

The drinking water only gets refilled when they do housekeeping and front desk will not give it to you even if you ask. Don't ask for water from the hotel restaurant when you dine in. A bottle of water costs 10€. We learned that the hard way when I saw the bill. Should have asked first.

The staff was super helpful. especially Michelle and Simone (sorry if I misspelled their name). The facility was comfortable and the lake view rooms had a scenery to die for. we were the first guests from the Maldives and they treated us very well.

They could add an indoor slipper in rooms as going to the balcony barefoot was not ideal as we don't like to roam around the room in our daily shoes as it makes the place untidy. Also, the breakfast was for SFr.28 which is a bit expensive compared to the available food varieties.

The location was very nice, although we overlooked the road and train station. The restaurant was also excellent, both for dinner and breakfast.

The hotel itself was very nice, but the room we had was not like the ones shown in the photos. While big enough and very modern, it was much smaller than we expected, based on the photos we saw. Also, we had unintentionally booked a room for 3 (2 adults and one infant, i.e. <1 year old). When this was revealed at check-in, we were not offered another double room, but instead a room with a double and twin bed. Had we actually arrived with an infant, obviously a twin bed would not be useful. All rooms do not have a lake view.

free room upgradge, fantastic lake view, very big balcony, high quality coffee and tea in room facilities. two members of the reception team were so friendly and helpful, a massive improvement to previous years.

the bar area lacks atmosphere, very business like. could do with more background music amd soft lighting/candles. and breakfast cost to add to room was expensive so we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel

Easy access by train to Zurich old town centre and ferry. On-site free undercover parking. Fabulous, smiley staff - so very helpful and obliging from providing tourist information to accommodating any requests we had along the way. Enjoyed their delightful full buffet breakfasts on a sunny light-filled dining room and terrace overlooking the lake! Will definitely stay again!

The room is spacious and comfortable, we had the room with AC which is plus, I like the shutter on the windows for soundproofing since the train just in-front of the hotel, the bathroom is big and gorgeous, the rooftop restaurant is amazing too, Finally a big hi to the guy who welcomes us I forgot his name, but he was so friendly.

A bit expensive

We have stayed at Sedartis a few yers ago and I booked it again without hesitation when it came up in the search. I like it for the style the comfort and the hospitality of the staff. We got upgraded to a room with lake view. Bedding and towels look and feel brand new. We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant and I noticed some other guests were local people. Food and service was flawless.

There is only liquid soap in the bathroom.

Super nice hospitality. The room is really big with the balcony. You can enjoy the lake view all day long. The location is superb, very close to both train station and cruise station so you can enjoy the lake to Zurich. It’s also not really far from a swimming spot in the lake (less than 10mins walk)

Lovely and comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

Pillows could have been better. It’s one of those that doesn’t support your neck and all the same so no choice. No air con either, but we were given a Dyson fan which kept us cool during the very hot and humid days in Zurich.

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The proximity to train station. Had two connected rooms for family with two kids which was very comfortable and spacious. Very clean rooms and good breakfast.
