We keep coming back to this hotel, due to its location, beautiful scenery, nice walks in the area and the river close-by, the comfortable rooms. Still it is only 4 stops (10 minutes) to the center of Zurich. This time the variety of the breakfast has improved and it was served in a beautiful ball room which gave a different touch. Very helpful team.

A very minor point, is that the wifi connection could be simpler.

The location is absolutely great, as the hotel is right on the shore at the boat stop below you. I also welcomed my own small beach or fenced access to the water with all conceivable facilities (loungers, delivery service from the restaurant, etc.). The train stop is also close to the hotel. Breakfast with a view of the lake and the corso (excellent salami, by the way). Excellently arranged parking for the few places that are there - you leave the keys to the attendant and she will park as soon as the place becomes available, so you don't have to worry about anything.

The bed mattress was too curved in the middle for my liking, so I sometimes felt like I was sleeping in an inverted bow position.

Beautiful hotel with a stunning view of the lake, very child and dog friendly. small playground in front of the hotel. very romantic!

Very expensive, the hotel is charming and beautiful but quite outdated. The rooms are also very small and they don’t have any facilities like room service or sitting area to work etc. just the lobby has some chairs. Both restaurants are very expensive, to grab a snack or lunch and dinner. But Kusnacht is very expensive in general. the breakfast buffet is also very limited and everything you want to order extra they have a surcharge. For that price they should include more possibilities into the room!

Lakeside location. Historic hotel for 350 years in same family. Paintings of museum quality. Super helpful staff. Walking distance to Jung Institute where I was lecturing. Next to train station and lake ferry. So easy access to Zurich and rest of Switzerland land. Unique experience.

We ate dinner at hotel restaurant and were very disappointed both with the food and even more by the service. Self service breakfast however was lovely

There was no air condition, but they explain that due to the hostoritical reasons, so they provide 2 fans which was acceptable, but the can but window AC, that would be great.

Classy hotel, right on the water. Shady place to sit by the water, right by the Kusnacht ferry landing, maybe one block from a train station. The staff were super friendly, and breakfast was great! We stayed in a room with a loft, and it was a huge hit with my family.

It's, ah, not inexpensive.

Beautiful room with great bedding and nice bathroom. They had prepped for our dog and put a little dog biscuit and bed in there, which was lovely. Breakfast was outstanding. Right on the lake with private swimming area. There's a valet for car parking.

A bit pricey, but to be expected in Switzerland!

Location of the hotel was fantastic. The service, cleanliness was of high standard. I am though puzzled that one couldn’t get an iron board. I have travelled the world and this was never an issue.

Great hotel. Excellent room. Great views. Good breakfast and fantastic to sit outdoor for breakfast. Enjoyed a swim in the lake in the morning. Fantastic.

Everything was really great. It was abnormally hot when we visited in July, so it would have been great with air condition in the room. But that's a bit asking too much, I think.

Very friedly and helpful family-led hotel team. We repeatedly visit due to the quality, location and service.

Little not to like! Perhaps only some very generous portions at dinner, which we struggled to finish. Too much of a good thing!
