Excellent location once you get to know the area. Don't get put off by the facade of the building - it looks old and run down, and the lift on the ground floor is accessible after passing through the ground floor shops. The neighbourhood may not seem to offer much on first look, but if you explore a bit, there are lots of options for food in the area. Proximity to a big underground shopping mall leading to the Taipei Railway and subway station. Ximending and Dihua Street are walkable, and there is a direct subway line from the station to places like the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial and 101 Tower. Though the rooms are small, the reception area is a great place to do one's digital work or to have a meal. It is brightly lit with a play area for children. The hotel provides a free flow of coffee throughout the day from a coffee machine, and snacks as well as something more substantial like instant noodles in a cup in the evenings. If you are not fussy with breakfast, there are mini croissants and a toaster/microwave if you like it warm. There is a washing machine and dryer which is inexpensive to use (about 100NT$ to wash and dry). Washing detergent can be purchased from the reception - I can't remember the price but it would be about 50NT$. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. While we didn't try the services, the hotel has ties with a travel and transportation company that offers transfers to and from airport. The prices for the airport transfers look comparable to what we pay to others.

Not very flexible with early checkins. No daily housekeeping service for duration of your stay - though they do change the towels on request. Rubbish are expected to be cleared by yourself - but you can just leave it at the door. The rooms though small as to be expected with the room rates, but it is decent enough with space to pack. We were 3 adults with 5 pieces of luggage - we managed to pack our shopping with some adjustments. There is a notice that toilet tissues are not to be flushed, and without a bidet, some adjustments needed to one's toilet practices. Also, the ceiling in the toilet/shower is low - I think a six footer might have to hunch a bit to move within the toilet.

I recently booked in this hotel for a family trip and I could say that it was truly wonderful! The location is perfect because it is near the Main Station, shops, and restaurants. As with the hotel, I find it very much like a home. It’s peaceful, clean, amenities are available, and all the rooms are located in one floor. The common area is perfect because you get to hang out, talk, and eat. The staff are all professional but the feel of the hotel is cozy. I loved it!

Friendly and polite front desk. We have arrived early 2 hours before the check in time, my dad was not well at the time, we requested for earlier check in. After they have checked and help us to arrange for early check in without any charges, by right they will charge. The staff are so kind and upgraded our room as well. We decided to extend our stay for another day. Location was so strategic as it's just walking distance to mrt Station, it's convenient for us to take train to go airport. A lot of good eatery shop just below the hotel, subway.

Soundproof is not good in the room, you can hear people talking, crying, singing outside your room. Staff should have highlight to guest during check in time to keep the voice low especially during night time or can put some notice or signboard within the hotel compound so that everyone should cooperate. Other than that, one of our blanket's has some strong stinky smell, not sure if they dry it properly or not.

The room is clean. Location is excellent. Mrt to airport is just opposite the hotel. Easy access Mrt which is just a few steps away. Mrt could go to Sheng Keng old town, nites markets (Shillin, rouhe and Huaxi) . Friendly male staff help us to store our luggages. Tea coffee and biscuit available. We can buy lunch dinner from outside to eat at the lobby table. Mcdonald 24 hrs service at the back of the hotel. Convenience to buy yummy food just located below the hotel. (dumpling, oyster pancake, meat buns, cooked mixed vegetable stall)

If you are looking for central location, budget and kid friendly hotel then this is the perfect place for you. It might look like a sketchy place from the outside going through the hotel but don't let it fool you since we really liked everything this hotel has to offer. They gave us an upgrade for a larger room since we have two kids, free refill of bottled water everyday plus snack in the room and in the lobby. The kids were able to enjoy their space in the playroom area. The staff are all wonderful. You won't regret staying here!

Very good location. Just right opposite the Taipei Main Station. And walk down the hotel, immediately got all the eateries and convenient stores.

Overall quite ok, except we are advised not to throw the toilet paper into the toilet bowl after used. It might clogged up the toilet. So even after we pooped, we will still have to throw the toilet paper into the dustbin beside the toilet bowl.

The location is really good. The room and other things are fine for staying for a short period. My room is twin room. The bathroom is okay with everything you need.

the entrance from the ground floor is a bit not pleasent for me. When we took the lift to the hotel floor, it is better.

Staff are friendly, when I need to do small change, they'll exchange coin for me. Free beverages, packaging drinks, bottle water, coffee tea for us to grab, free croissant in the morning. Location is good.

No housekeeping make up room service, self service if your dustbin are full just put the garbage outside your room and they will collect it. If you want to change towel you have to inform them.

Arrival before check-in time, their concierges allow to lay down your luggages. If your room finished the cleaning early, possible get into room.

Requested a Twin bed room, they upgraded to Trio room. However the twin bed is two single beg combined. Sleep quality goes down.

place are comfy and cosy . The place smell nice overall with the diffuser. A nice place to holiday TW.

The wall partitions cant isolate the noise outside . My room happens to be near the lift lobby and I can hear the movement of people moving around.
