The food there was incredible! They even had some honey which we needed to squeeze out of honeycomb. It was really satisfying! The location was excellent too! There was a lot of shops and restaurants below the hotel, like: Mister Donut and some ramen restaurants. And the Taipei Main Station was just the opposite side.

There was not much to explore in the hotel. There was only a roof garden, a SPA, hotel rooms and a restaurant. Personally, I think they should add a indoor swimming pool and maybe a playground to let kids enjoy.

The hotel is old and little outdate, the room we were assigned the bathroom was smelly, but they were able to accommodate us the other room with the view of the Taipei Main Station. We`re greatly appreciated for that gesture. We didn`t purchase the breakfast neither we dined in the hotel, so we can`t commend on the food, because the food outside the hotel was so convenience and a lot cheaper. The location is excellent, easy access to the MRT subway and bus stations.

We were lucky enough to win the drawing from Taiwan Government to give away NT $5000.00 travel vouchers to foreign tourists. But we were very disappointed come to find out the hotel Caesar Park Taipei did not participate in the program, but other Caesar Park Hotels nearby Taipei were in program. The voucher only used for the hotel stay, therefore we end up wasting the NT $5000.00. Beside the location, the facilities and service are just above the average. This is the reason why we are not going to stay in this hotel again.

Very well located under Taipei Main Station. The rooms are spacious & house keeping excellent. If you are taking the Airport Express, then when you get off the Train, head towards the MRT Station located in the next building (All underground), look for the Blue Line (Bannan Line) & then look for the M6 exit. This is the best way to get to the Hotel. Airport Express, Metro, Trains & buses all use the same mobility card. Another thing remember, there are no money changers in Taiwan. You can change money only at the Banks (Monday to Friday) or at the Hotel & Departmental Stores.

Room is kind of small and only one paid washing machine and dryer for the entire hotel.

The best hotel location there is in taipei main station. Very accesible around the whole taipei city, doesn’t require a lot of travel time to any of our destination. Always halfway which is great when your travelling with little kids. Great staff,front desk help us contact our ride going to taoyuan airport.

The room could do a little more cleaning below the beds and the windows. Loosen sockets needs to be replaced, needs to add more electrical plugs beside bed. Imagine charging 2 iphones , 2 ipads and 2 nintendo. We have to rotate charging, one beside bed, one on the desk and two inside the restroom.

Hotel was in a good location although it was a little bit difficult to find it when we were coming from the airport train platform because Taipei main station signage system is very confusing. It's convenient to get to high speed rail station, regional trains, metro and airport train from this hotel as long as you don't mind seeing plenty of homeless people living rough around the vicinity of station. Theres a direct M6 exit to the hotel but that requires using short flight of stairs before walking through a bunch of eateries at Basement 1 level before getting to the lift lobby to access reception at level 1. An alternative for people with bigger pieces of luggage is to use M8 metro exit which has escalator access to street level but you'd have to cross a road in order to get to the hotel foyer. Taipei (and Taiwan in general) is not very wheelchair/accessibility friendly on the whole. You're lucky if you even have actual sidewalks to walk on with all kinds of illegal parking occuring all over the place. I was surprised to learn that this hotel used to be a Hyatt given its rather underwhelming foyer. To be fair, it was somewhat refurbished before its current rebranding. Some rooms have better layouts than others. Lots of little stalls selling street food in the streets behind the hotel-- much more affordable than paying for hotel breakfast.

Upon check-in, we were assigned to a room with extremely strong cigarette smell. Housekeeping should check the room more thoroughly, including taking steps to eradicate such foul smells before releasing the room for the next guest to stay. It was a waste of time for me to go back to the reception and join the queue behind other guests in order to get another room, delaying my dinner plans substantially. Front desk also felt somewhat understaffed.

The location of this hotel could not have been better. It was directly across the street from the Taipei Main Station (subway & high-speed rail) and also connected via to one of he underground exits. Retail and food shops along the way to get there. If you got the breakfast included, it is way more than just breakfast which made it so worth it. it was more like a mini brunch with local food.

Poor room lighting. TV was small and reception was not clear. Cable connection instead of HDMI connectivity.

Nice hotel just next to the main train station with mostly friendly staff whom speaks good English. Good air-conditioner and fairly large rooms with very big bathroom.

Breakfast was a disaster - almost nothing to eat. Should have better diversity especially for western people. I booked a room with my daughter only to discover the bathroom have a huge window to the room and without good possibility to obscure the bathroom. I had to leave the room so she could shower and we had to do turns in order to use the bathroom when one is outside the room ... also the curtains does not close well enough and light comes in during the morning and wake you up.

The hotel only provides "unsecured wifi access" to the guest which means anyone can access the hotel network without any security connection and this has resulted in I'm unable to connect to any high-security website (such as banking or site containing input of secure information) 2. TV resolution is very bad 3. AC air duct is covered and filled with dust 4. Molds can also be seen on top of the closet railing 5. No ramp (only stairs) at the main lobby entrance thus is very very inconvenience for guest to haul their luggage from the taxi dropoff area to the lobby 6. No clock in the room

We stayed here twice over the past two weeks. We had a good sized room facing the main railway station (which is linked by subway) on the first two nights and we were upgraded to a junior suite for a subsequent three nights. Both rooms were clean, comfortable and generally quiet. In spite of facing a main street, there was little traffic noise (but for some reason, some guests find it acceptable to shout in the corridors). The buffet breakfast on floor 2 had a good selection of hot and cold items as well as cereals, tea and coffee. We also used the buffet for dinner on two occasions. Again, the food available was good, kept at a good temperature; and some reasonable wine was included in the price. There seemed to be no limit on the amount one could eat.

A place keeper is used to indicate occupied tables but the staff still managed to clear our table of two full cups of coffee, juice, and bread while we collected more breakfast items.
