Location was Awesome. Take M6( stairs) or Z2( Lift) exit from Taipei Main Station and you're already 2 mins away from the doorstep of the hostel. Receptionists were friendly and room was clean with BASIC facilities. Shared hot water shower and toilet facilities were in working order. Place not suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. Wi-Fi and TV were in working order and that helped being connected during the Typhoon Day on 3/8/23. Convenience stores, basement eateries, Cosmed pharmacies all sprouted within the hostel area... National Taiwan Museum and Natural History Museum all within walking mins.

Room with Windows would be my personal preference. Male and female toilets/shower facilities in very close proximity. More areas to chill and relax would be great.

The staff can help you out with everything and can speak Chinese, English and more languages. The location is next to the japanese street and the Main Station Metro M6. There are many shopping centers nearby (difficult to find) like the k underground, city mall and others. 7-11 are on every corner. Metro is reachable in 3 min as well as the High Speed Rail.

The hotel was quite clean, although there are things like the top of mirror frames, which are not been cleaned on a regular basis. The rooms have no noise cancelling to other people and the alarm clock as well as to the outside. Nevertheless the town will get silent around 0:30 AM.

The location is right next to the main station from which you can take high speed train to different cities. It has a nice social area not many people hanging out there but I liked to spend time there before sleeping. People are very friendly and helpful. You can leave your bags before or after check in safely at the reception. I happen to be there at the moment when the big earthquake happend and I can tell that even though it was very scary building seemed to be safe to me. I think its such a nice option in the city center of Taipei.

Could have been a bit more social maybe some ice breaker small events would be nice to meet other guests.

For the price, the accommodation was very decent. I also really liked that it was just opposite Taipei Main Station so getting to places was very convenient. It was also situated at an open street with a Family Mart right downstairs, so walking back to the hotel at night alone felt safe.

There were renovations happening around 10am, but it belonged to other tenants in the building so understandably it can’t be controlled by the hotel. Also walls are thin so you might hear muffled conversations from your next door neighbour. Still, as a fairly light sleeper I was able to get a good sleep.

Excellent location for access to Taipei Main Station, which was the reason that we chose to stay here. Lots to do in the area and plenty of places to eat nearby. This place was good value for money for the price that we paid.

The room was very stuffy, but we knew this would be the case as we booked the room with no window. The bathroom could definitely be cleaner. The soundproofing is pretty bad, you can hear people talking in the neighbouring rooms. For a one night budget stay this place is fine, but I wouldn't reccomend it for a long stay in Taipei.

Really convenient location (5 min from taipei main station and 10 min to Ximending area). I booked a single room with no window and with shared bathroom, the price was really worth it. the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Really helpful staff, was able to check in a bit early. They have paid laundry and a big common room area to eat or chill. Good wifi. Overall, good value for the price

The room was pretty small, but I also knew that going into it, though maybe they could put a mirror in there to make it feel a little bigger and have the aid of a mirror in the room. The toilets and the showers are in bathrooms on opposite ends of the floor which was odd, but totally fine for my stay.

The hotel was located about 5-10 mins away from Taipei Main Station (Airport MRT and city MRT) so it made our travelling around and beyond Taipei much easier. The hotel and our room was accessible by lift. The staff were very helpful whenever we needed anything extra for our room (change of towels, extra pillow, toilet paper etc.). You can find a convenience store literally a few metres (maybe about 10 m) away from the foot of the building that this hotel is based in. Furthermore it is near quite a few eating places and bubble tea shops so you do not need to worry about your meals. Thumbs up for accessibility. While there is a bank (Bank of Taiwan, but only open on weekdays 9 am - 3:30pm, excluding public holidays), there is a currency exchange counter (open on weekends and public holidays) at Basement 2 of the department store right opposite the hotel if you urgently need to change your home currency to NTD. Just note that the exchange rates aren't the best, but when you are desperate this would be helpful to know. If you do not mind walking, Ximending is actually walkable from the hotel. (so that you can save on public transport)

The running water for showering in my room did take a while to heat up. The soundproofing wasn't the best but I have experienced worse soundproofing before so this is still bearable and not too annoying. The room isn't exactly very large but still manageable for two people.

This time I shared the bathroom and toilet, but they are on the different side of the building. The layout is very inconvenient and unconventional for me. I don’t like one cleaning staff as she was rude to me after I didn’t use one of the floor cleaning tool properly. She complained that I created extra work for her without considering I had cleaned my room all by myself (as I have too much staff in the room). The very second time tried to borrow the tool again she followed me to my room and tried to step in to make sure I did the job properly. I then refused to borrow it and stayed in the dirty room (mostly the floor) for my last week. She needs to know the role we both played!!

The location is perfect as it is located right next to Taipei station, the hub for all coach and high speed rail connections that I needed for my excursions out of Taipei and to the Taoyuan airport. Taipei station area is always difficult to navigate with all it's confusing underground links, but this hotel was convenient enough. They were also happy to store my luggage at the reception in between my stays. Check in was extremely efficient.

I normally use the shared bathrooms at night and they had felt quite well used by that time of the day. There was no mirror in my room and it was a bit troublesome to walk back and forth from the shared bathroom. The walls are not super soundproof but I was not too bothered by that.

The location is very convenient although it is easy to get lost in the Taipei Main Station area. The reception staff assisted us to book a fixed rate taxi to the airport for the middle of the night. The driver even arrived early and came up to the lounge area of the hotel to pick us up.

Space was a bit tight and it was difficult for both of us to open our suitcases, but that was expected for that price and location. The shower area was slightly moldy but mostly kept quite clean.
