the hotel has a nice European feel and the hotel has a very nice in house sauna facility. service of the staff is excellent and way better than other similar hotels I have been to

there isn’t a subway nearby. if you are able to navigate buses then the area is pretty well connected to all major sites in Taipei

The staff were friendly and helpful, good facilities, good housekeeping, spacious room. I like it that the hotel cuts down on dispensing disposable toothbrush to be more environmentally friendly. Toothbrush can still be taken from the lobby if needed.

The temperature in the room is way too cold. Setting higher temperature on the controller in the room does not work. Reflected this to the staff and I believed they tried something but I do not think it works. This kind of defeats the hotel policy to be environmentally friendly.

Room is neat and spacious, there’s a bath tub and a standing shower area. Even though they do not provide bottles of water due to environment issues, they do have a water fountain on each floor which makes it really convenient to meet your water intake. The gym is well equipped, there’s also a pool and other entertainments in the hotel. Also, the hotel is 2 mins away from the nearest convenient store. Can always grab snacks from the there to satisfy mid night cravings.

The quality of soap and shampoo is poor, and there’s no conditioner.

Great pool area, slightly heated pool which makes a big difference if you have kids. Nice modern breakfast area, good choices at the buffet. Clean throughout the hotel. Shopping malls and eateries about 5-10 mins walk away. Not the most pleasant walk as it's close to busy arteries, but close enough.

Overall building and rooms have a bit of a faded grandeur feel. Note no water bottles provided in the room itself but water dispensers at every level by the lifts.

Big hotel with an onsen and pool (but which is narrow so only usable if there are only two or three other guests in it). Our room was enormous, clean and comfortable with both a tub and a shower and a separate toilet - would be excellent for families.

Our view was of traffic from one major artery plus a highway overpass. I couldn't find the gardens the place is supposed to have. No amenities in the room (you have to get things like q tips by the front desk). The bedding was not very good and the pillows low quality. The location is ok but not exactly near anything useful - shops, restaurants, metro stations. All that to say that it's a good, perfectly fine mid range hotel but five stars is an exaggeration.

Taipei Terrific Stay Spent just on a week here. Location wise was not bad just a short walk to some top food areas a mall named 'the breeze' & a short taxi ride to other locations such as 101. The actual hotel had fantastic facilities a gym, lap pool, sauna, steam room & spa/onsen/public bath the room was very big & spacious with full amenities available (if not in room at lobby) meaning many hotels don't just fill up the bathroom with freebies you have to get them from the lobby which is a good idea, people over waste at hotels anyway. Now, the only issue we had, the hotel is at a very busy intersection & one of us is a light sleeper therefore, we asked to move to the other side of hotel. The staff were absolutely professional & motivated to complete this task & we thank them for this. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

We booked a 3 bedder room and it was super spacious and clean. The bed and quilt were comfortable to use . Lobby staff were all helpful in answering our queries like where's the station, where to get a quick meal etc.

Train station was 8-10 mins walk away which was tedious. The water temperature for shower was hard to control as it will become super hot at times. Water drainage was an issue during our stay but got rectified after providing feedback to lobby team.

Nice Hotel, very spacious room. They let us check in early on our first day, which was very nice It's possible to use the spa while waiting for check in. They lent us a converter plug. Good breakfast, especially the fresh soups from the counter are very good (e.g. Hakka style rice noodle). We had a quiet room in the back. The spa is also nice.

The location is a bit far from the mrt station but still walkable in 10 minutes. The surrounding area is not that nice. Ask for room to the back because there's a noisy street in front.

The room was large and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the gym was well equipped though lacked an area for stretching, and the sauna was amazing! Although I didn't have time to go in the pool, I saw other people enjoying it and it looked very nice.

Not very close to the nearest MRT station. Though I believe that staff can call a taxi whenever needed.

Grandiose hotel with spacious room and bathroom (both shower and bath) and a Japanese toilet, water fountain in front of the elevators and great staff. At a walking distance of metro stations, a convenience store nearby (seven eleven). The view from the 11th floor is quite amazing.
