We arrived at this hotel after a safari. The road leading to the hotel from the main road in Arusha was worse than the Serengeti! But fortunately the hotel itself was very decent. There is a small but clean swimming pool. A large turtle lives near the pool. The room is spacious and clean. There were no problems with water. There is no air conditioning in the room, but it was not needed. There is a mosque nearby, this must be taken into account, because early in the morning prayers can be heard very loudly. Overall, the stay was comfortable and met our expectations.

Accommodation is located between the houses of locals, outside city centre. Roads among the property are like in all Tanzania - bumpy land roads. We did step outside of accommodation territory and walked - people were lovely, some guys offered taxis services with their mopeds, kids were happy to see us and were chatty. Accommodation territory is calming oasis - lot of places were to sit and look around. Staff - very friendly and welcoming: taught us some basic Swahili. Before our arrival we told accommodation that we will be earlier than their check-in time which was not a problem for them and got our room ready. As days were rainy - gave us also umbrella outside accommodation territory. Rooms - beautiful room with nice paintings. Bed was spacious and comfy. Clean. Breakfast were good there was buffet (cereal, toasts, coffee, tea etc) and also options to receive freshly baked pancakes or eggs.

We couldn't fully close one of the windows - seemed broken. Room was little dark - even the vanity mirror had extra light - still it was hard to put make-up on. Toilet was fully connected to room - no door, only wall which even doesn't connect to the ceiling - so you don't get any privacy between your spouse or travelling buddy.

Amazing resort Hotel is small with lovely rooms, the rooms are so nice, super comfortable 4 poster beds, very clean and tidy, nice seating area with tea and coffee station available and good bathroom with toiletries, room are very spacious Hotel grounds are just beautiful, lots of trees and plants and of course a tortoise or 2 It’s so quiet and relaxing at this hotel The pool is lovely surrounded by greenery and pool towels available There is so many different places to sit around the hotel tables and chairs in the garden, loungers by the pool even a hammock, it’s nice to walk around the hotel grounds The restaurant has a great variety for all meals and the food is fantastic so hard to choose what to eat I stayed full board so all my meals were included haven’t found anything I didn’t like so far and this is my second time at this hotel this month In the evenings they have a lovely fire lit and is nice to relax on the sofas around the fire after dinner or sit at the bar just facing the restaurant The staff are just fantastic, everyone is so happy, nice and friendly, Frida, Yohane, Rehema, Jeremiah to say a few but really all the staff are just all so helpful, they bend over backwards to make you have the best experience during your stay From sorting early check in or late check out where available, laundry done, arranging taxis to town, airport or bus station pick ups or excursions that are available from the hotel I couldn’t fault this hotel.

Absolutely nothing

I finished my safari stay at Africa Safari Arusha. The staff is so kind and welcoming especially Rahema. She took care of everything for me breakfast and dinner and is the best! The turtles are so cute in the garden. The bed was very comfortable, I slept very well. Everything is clean and housekeeping did a great job. I would recommend anyone start and end their safari tour at Africa Safari Arusha. Hakuna Matata

The staff was amazing and made our stay very enjoyable. The wholehearted friendliness provides the facility a very charming atmosphere. The rooms, the garden and the pool area are well maintained, making the a green oasis of tranquillity. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. If we had more days in Arusha, we would have extended our stay at the lodge.

Our room on the upper floor had a tin roof which became quite noisy when heavy rainfall hammered on it during the night. The lodge is a bit difficult to get to on bumpy and muddy dirt road.

I cannot recommend Africa Safari Arusha highly enough! The accommodations, the property, the staff, and the food were all top notch. It's a beautiful property that feels more like a sanctuary than a hotel. Additionally, the rooms are lovely, clean, and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the staff, who was warm, welcoming, and willing to help at every turn. Truly, I have never been more impressed with a property's staff -- every single member of the staff who we interacted with was wonderful, from helping us schedule taxis to keeping the kitchen open late when we had family arriving at odd hours. I would not stay anywhere else in Arusha!

Nice spot, friendly staff and lovely garden. Did not use the pool but it looked good and calm. I arranged a Safari with the company associated with the place and it all went very smoothly. Monica was very helpful in customising the trip to our needs and Shabani was an excellent driver/guide. Punctual (better than us), accommodating and great at spotting animals in the wild

I arrived late and there were not many staff around, including security and check-in. This caused a bit of confusion to let the car in and find my room. It all worked out but as I had arranged the airport transfer with the Safari company associated with the place, I expected them to be more ready for my late arrival.

Loved the location in the sense that is was a beautiful property, does not seem like you are in the city. Staff was very friendly, it was my husbands birthday so I asked if they could make a cake for him and they did, singing happy birthday over breakfast and all. We shared the cake with other guests. Food was very tasty and I loved the drinks :) Room was amazing, big and comfortable and clean.

Room was very dark and I could not close one of the windows, seemed broke. It was a bit far from city center. For us it did not matter but if you would like to be closer to restaurants and all I would recommend another location. Also think they could be more flexible with meal hours since sometimes the tours leave before breakfast start (they do provide the breakfast box though) or you want just to relax at the place and have meals whenever you want. Maybe they could provide some options like snacks or something like pizza to have outside the meal hours since the place is far from the city and you don´t want to leave it to go to a restaurant.

Rooms 100's are very charming and intimate. Try to avoid rooms 200's where you can clearly hear your neighbors and eventually the generator...

Access to the hotel goes through a really bumpy road. Take this into consideration if you plan to visit the city.

An African Safari was one of the trips on my bucket list. The accommodations mattered especially after a long Safari Drive. Africa Safari Arusha did not disappoint. Once the entrance gate opened, an oasis appeared. It exceeded my expectations because the compound and room were beautiful with amazing décor. The staff were friendly, professional and very responsive. Kudos to the all the chefs because every meal was exceptional (Chef’s kiss).
