The stay, the room, the food and the staff behaviour, it was immaculate.

The location is a little remote, and one needs to take the tide situation into consideration while reaching or leaving from the property as it is only favourable to reach or leave during high tide. If u reach during low tide, u will have to walk through a very rocky beach and consider every step u take.

The treehouse accommodation was fantastic. We loved the location and the wildlife was a real bonus especially the spectacled langurs (approx. 7 with 2 small babies) who hung out in a tree right outside our treehouse for several hours one afternoon. Beach good for swimming and the pool while small was a nice option especially at low tide. Property and the staff were amazing. One of the friendliest welcomes we received in Thailand. A 6 minute walk to Railay going through the bush right by the beach which you can do most times of the day, apart from either side of high tide when I think the exit/entry point at Railay would likely be waist deep, but then could take a long tail boat if needed for approx. THB300 for the entire boat.

The area,the view, the proximity to the beach. Very peaceful place. I loved it here... Here are some tips to help you - You need to make sure the doors/windows and the netted windows are properly shut as soon as you check in or you will have loads of bugs in your room! Also just before sunset make sure all your lights are off (except the balcony) as this will attract bugs to find a way into your room. Also highly recommend getting a plug in mosquito repellant as they find a way in! Also you may find the occasional bit of poop on your bed, it's from the geckos that live in the rafters - they help eat the bugs in your room. They can be noisy but are fun to watch!! ... Plus you are in a basically wild part of the area so expect wildlife. WEAR BUG SPRAY 24/7 here especially if you venture into a cave or up to the Railay jungle pass (it's pretty overgrown there)

We loved our stay here!! staying in a glass room in nature was amazing!!| - The facilities were great and very clean - The rooms are spaced out nicely - Good WIFI - The beach is basically private The hike to Railey beach is okay. we really liked that we stayed in a quite place only a short walk away from Railey Beach

- Our view of the beach was obstructed by the room in from of us. but the view of the area was breathtaking. - Take note that you do have to hike (15min) or take a boat to Railey beach (300Bhat) . The hike is NOT to be done at night. We got lost due to the high tide.

The views from our bed and from everywhere were absolutely breathtaking!!! Loved the stars and sounds of the frogs and crickets at night, the sheer peacefulness, gorgeous private beach, pool with view, boat rentals, good breakfasts and tasty restaurant. Accommodations were basic but stylish and comfortable.

Yes it’s a bit difficult to get in and out of, but well worth it if you seek beauty and peacefulness. On our last night a large group arrived and they were noisy and all around the place and it changed the vibe. Luckily they all went on a tour the next day and we could relax again until checkout.

The room was beautiful with a magnificent view. Location in the center of tonsai beach The balcony was nice for sunsets Friendly monkeys(they feed on leaves) roaming around the resort. The cart pickup from the longboat Staff were very friendly. Restaurant was excellent. Pool was nice with good service.

Walking through the resort isn’t always nice at night , not enough paths and during rain or at night it’s not optimal. Some communal areas were not maintained well enough with bird droppings all over them. We stayed at tonsai in 2014 and it changed a lot, Not blaming the Hotel but most of the small businesses closed through the years , and with the wall that was built around the resort it’s less comfortable to walk around and get to all the nice places in the forest , hope that smaller businesses will reopen and all of tonsai becomes better connected and full of life as it once was.

The place is amazing for a nice getaway, it feels tropical and retreated. There are a lot of activities available at the location, such as kayaking and even night kayaking to see bioluminescent plankton (depending on the tide, of course), pedal boat, tours and much more. The food at the restaurant was quite good as well. The houses feed very private and have great facilities. The wi-fi was surprisingly good.

No deal breakers for us, but things that people should take into consideration: - you can only get to this location by boat and there is no pier so you'll have to get your feet wet and if you plan on bringing a lot of luggage it might be a bit troublesome (I've seen people complain about it) - there are mosquitos and they are active at night so bring some repellant; the room was equipped with a mosquito repelling device which was a nice surprise - there are a lot of birds and they chirp a lot early in the morning, sometimes from the comfort of your balcony, as birds do; if you're a light sleeper bring some ear plugs or something

Amazing views, friendly and welcoming stuff. We felt welcomed from the first moment. Waking up with those views has made our vacation memorable. Really great food and drinks and attentive service. We eat quite often there during our stay and can recommend everything.

Might be the fact that you always need to pay for a boat ride for going anywhere. Due to low season pretty much every time we had to take a private boat. I am aware that the beach is not private, however it would have been amazing if they would regularly clean the beach

The Tinidee hotel and staff are amazing. My wife and I loved our stay there. The restaurant's food is delicious for breakfast lunch and dinner. The rooms are very comfortable, as well as the bed. You cant have a better view than the surrounding mountains and cliffs. We enjoyed having drinks at the bar next door and watching the rock climbers. Railei is a short 10 min walk through the jungle (it can be a bit challenging for some people since it gets steep at some points). We usually walked to Railei during mid-day when Tonsai beach was at low-tide, Railei's beach is very nice and swimmable all-day long but there are way more tourists and it can get rowdy. We preferred to hang out there during the daytime and get back to Tonsai in the evening to enjoy a chiller vibe.

The only issue that Tinidee has is that the beach changes dramatically with the tide. We were a bit shocked when we arrived at noon and had to jump off the boat into a rocky and muddy beach. We almost left within the hour but decided to be patient and trust what the staff said that the sea level would rise...and it did! We had great morning and evening swims in the beach, best spot is in front of the beach bar by the rock-climbers wall. Do NOT try to go the "short" way to Railei by walking along the shore at low tide, it is extremely rocky and can be quite dangerous if you fall or misstep. The hotel should not recommend this route.

Lovely location, quieter than Railay with a low amount of long tail boat traffic. Natural settings with local wildlife such as Indochinese Grey Langur monkeys. Hidden behind Tinidee is a number of shacks selling food/drinks. Tinidee is very accommodating and will assist with transfers from Krabi airport, though the long tail boat cost was expensive in comparison to what you could pay direct, I did appreciate the door to door approach therefore you get the added extras if willing to pay.

The air conditioning was temperamental, it often changed and was pointing at the bottom of the bed, at times the temperature wasn’t cold. No mattresses for the sun loungers on rotten furniture made it uncomfortable, I appreciate this was due to cleaning however 3 of the 5 days was less than acceptable. Transfer increment could have been slightly less for the long tail boat.
