The swimming pool 💙 The nature around and inside the resort, you could see and hear the birds. The room was quite spacious, nice chairs outside near the door. They give you a ride to the beach after stay. Good wifi and really nice breakfast, they cook you eggs on the spot and there's also plenty of choices.

When I first opened my bathroom door, inside there was a lizard, that then escaped through the ceiling 😄 it means in the ceiling there was a hole that big 😄 but it's Tonsai and I think for this place it's kind of normal 😆 monkeys jumping on your roof, some ants here and there, but... I guess all places in Tonsai are like that :)

Swimming pool is big and beautiful, also the garden around. The room was cleaned up every two days.

Electricity was available less time than it was mentioned when we booked the room: only from 17:30pm to 8:00am in the morning. Also there was noisy generator just behind our bungalow, not in the night though.

The pool! <3 it's big and with a nice surroundings. The nature around the bungalows is nice. You can see so many animals running or flying around. Receptionists were helpful. It was quite and calm during the day and the night.

The bungalows are a bit old and need some restoration. They are not completely hermetic, we had ants almost in every room, and one room even had a lizard in it :D but it's Tonsai and we didn't expect anything other :D From March 1st the breakfast was not so good, it lost variation, you had to order rice or pasta, but everyday they were the same. I suppose it was because the high season had ended.

The staff was very nice and helpful. We were able to check in earlier and use the pool straight away. They dropped us of at the Pier at our departure day. The pool area was really nice and refreshing on those hot days. There's no Power throughout the day, but you hardly notice cause you're up and about anyway and we never returned before 5pm anyway. And you're able to charge your phone at the reception. You have pool and shower towels and you get a couple bottles of water for your stay.

The mattress was unfortunately very hard and the fan in the room was so loud we weren't able to leave it on during the night. Also the water pressure in the shower was so low we couldn't wash our hair. But besides those little quirks it was good :)

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Free lift from the boat spot and back there upon check-out. Good beds and cute little patio in front of every room. Pool was nice. Generally speaking it is extremely quiet and never felt busy!

Considering the lack of electricity for the majority of the day, it is maybe a little overpriced. We stayed almost a week and had to ask several time to get room service (just a basic clean of the room + change of sheets).

Clean rooms, comfortable beds,good shower. First time in thailand we slept very peacufully, no mosque,rooster,dogs... we still thought the night was expensive but comparing to the other accomodations at tonsai or railay it was the best and we wpuld definetely stay there again

Doors don't close completely when locked, there is a small gap but no insect came in our room so that was ok. Window in the bathroom was half broken so they taped it with some plastic,but could be nice to have a normal window. Tonsai is dead completely, one bar, so if you want to go to railay that is 400baths

We loved the pool, we loved the monkeys roaming around, we loved the restaurant down the road. Truly picturesque surroundings! The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the staff were helpful. The electricity times didn’t effect us as we went out through the day, and continued to have phone service.

There is a 10 minute walk, from the boat to the hotel, but this did not put us off in the slightest, it actually added to the experience. The boat to the hotel is rather straight forward.

One of the more upscale options on Tonsai, amazing gardens and wildlife, luggage service from the beach, have stayed here 5 or so time before so feels very nostalgic/familiar.

Reception staff were not very friendly, like we were an inconvenience, no power during the day, pool is very heavily treated with chemicals, bathrooms are rough, restaurant is a myth, avoid pre paid breakfast.

great location very close to the beach, nice and accommodating staff (we were booked next to very noisy people and they moved our room promptly), and nice standalone bungalow units. The staff were very nice and gave us water daily. The pool area is great to enjoy the scenery in the shade. There wasn't wifi for a time span during the day but it's not an issue because you are out of your room enjoying the beach or exploring during that time anyways.
