The pool was great, surprisingly cool and refreshing. Lots of options at the buffet breakfast (runs 7:30-11 AM, front desk open 6 AM to 10 PM). The bungalow was basic but clean. Nice to have a tea kettle, mugs, and a fridge. Bed was the standard very firm Southeast Asian mattress. Nice little sitting area outside each bungalow. Bungalows were in the shade by mid afternoon and there was usually a breeze, both of which helped with the heat. (AC and fans in the room also helped.) Monkeys came through a couple times in the 5 days we stayed there, which was a nice bonus.

The bungalow needs lots of wall hooks to make better use of the ample space.

Very clean room and pool. Pool has a rather stunning setting with abrupt Farst rock formation as backdrop. Nice buffet breakfast with pleasant eating area. They upgraded us from Bungalow for no extra charge. Deluxe room was spacious with nice balcony and view.

Out of the way location. Long walk from anything which is not a problem unless it is crazy hot weather. Prices seem much higher than when I was last in this area a few years ago. Many reviews mention the lack of pool lounge chairs. Seems like a simple thing to add. Have your room cleaned knowing your at risk of it not being ready until late afternoon.

The resort was well thought out, everything accessible once on the island. The monkeys and cats roamed freely and were a highlight. The people as always were warm and kind. The breakfast was very good, ☺️ We had a brilliant stay here and would use again.. Take time out to climb to the view point, it's hairy at times, bare feet or trainers are a good call. The lagoon is a bit of a scramble to reach, not for those who can't stand heights or rock climbing. Beaches beautiful. However, the rubbish that people leave is a real shame , and made heart sink .😢

After reading many reviews and some negatives we chose to go here we came from a week in the Marriott hotel Phuket and ca say we made the right choice at diamond resort big rooms Wi-Fi fine pool has a soft white rubber liner which makes it soft to walk on nice setting front office staff all great and helpful. If you want your room cleaned it’s not automatic you put your key in a small basket in reception and then they know you want a clean , pool towels are in reception as extra waters and toilet paper which are both free .

I think breakfast was ok but because the five burners under each tray were never alight the what should be hot plates were always cold ever day so although the fried eggs were in thd try already they were cold so chef had to make me new fresh hot ones every morning

The friendly, smiling lady at the Front Desk upgraded me to a huge, beautiful double room. 🙏 The location was a few minutes from the pier, along the waterfront ( not the beach side). A sufficient, and usual, breakfast was included. The pool was large enough and was directly below an enormous cliff. The’s a path to the Diamond Cave, which is good but it’s 200baht entry for farang. The grounds are nice and I foot it good value for money.

Yes, the beds are hard, but that’s often the case in Thailand.

Railay is pretty small so everything is in walking distance. We were worried there was no transportation, but it was easy to get from the floating pier to the hotel which was less than a 10 minute walk. The location is great! It is steps away from everything (restaurants, shops, massage places, tour booths, beaches, etc). The breakfast options were pretty moderate. From the pictures, it looked like the resort was dated, but the property looks a lot better in person. The limestone cliffs in the background was a beautiful view. The pool was also very beautiful.

Communication with resort staff was not very helpful or accommodating on Booking.com messages/chat, but no issues at all during our stay.

The room was very clean, the staff was exceptionally nice, they even gave us a free room upgrade. :) Super spacious, pretty view from the balcony, free water bottles. Breakfast was also available for a reasonable price. We also loved the location that was remote but at the same time within a 5-minute walking distance from everything.

The WiFi didn't work and it was pretty noisy due to renovations but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was very clean and just enough secluded that you didn't hear the night noise of partiers. I appreciated having the breakfast buffet, it had a good variety. I liked the location and the price was right. The only complaint that I had was that the mattresses was the hardest one I have ever experienced. However, even with this one discomfort, I would stay here again.

I enjoyed the diamond cave resort, but make sure you bring mosquito spray cause I got eaten up by them. The only complaint I have is that it’s very far from the dock, and you have to drag your luggage quite a ways to the resort. However, I was able to have staff assist me with my luggage to the pier on the way home, and I appreciate that very much. The staff are very friendly and helped me out every time I needed it. I stayed in a bungalow close to the pool, which was in a very good location. I appreciate all the assistance from the staff and would definitely stay there again.

Probably the breakfast during the morning but I only ate there once so I ate out most of the time. Otherwise I enjoyed everything diamond cave resort had to offer. And I will definitely book there again.

Resort itself is wonderful! Located close to the caves and surrounded by a very peacefull green area. Has a restaurant with awesome cheap food! Staff also very friendful.

Room could be more modern. No shower, instead water flows directly to a gutter behind the toilet. Toilet and bathroom floor get wet, sand/etc accumulates around toilet. Some bedbugs, room can been seen from the outside if courtins aren't tightly closed + clarity in the morning.
