The bed was the most comfortable among all the hotels we have visited. Love the facilities and staff hospitality. The beach was beautiful. My daughter loved the kids' pool and eatting pizza at the pool.

The only thing I would complain was the food menu. We stayed there for 4 days and I started to feel that I craved for an authentic Thai southern food and seafood.

We chose the hotel by its amenities/facilities and we didn't regret: Small water play zone with two rides, surfskate park, 24/7 gym with bouldering section, tennis court, private beach, few pools, few ponds with lotuses and other beautiful flowers. Fully equipped kid play indoor area with hourly activities, teen play zone with arcade machines, air hockey table tennis and few other fun things. All this makes this place a good place to stay for few weeks and not get bored. Breakfast buffet had lots of choices and all food was of the highest quality. Complimentary nuts and fruits are nice little things.

On territory restaurants are a bit pricey, but if you have a car/bike, you can easily ride to Khao Lak and have cheaper and bigger choice of meals. Also our room has some unpleasant smell but it was not that strong so after few minutes in a room you stop noticing it.

The resort is amazing such a great place to relax & the weather was perfect. The staff were so friendly & helpful & are a great asset to the company.

I was surprised to find an Indian gambling organisation was allowed to set up a display in the resorts lobby! There was also a private party for there guests for which we were asked (politely) to move to another area of the beach.

Smoking was allowed on the grounds which was unpleasant . Generally Good food but poor vegetarian options . The buffet breakfast was extensive but many of the hot dishes included pork so disappointing for a vegetarian. There were Indian style options , some meat “alternative “ dishes and pasta but no vegetarian Thai dishes . We ate dinner at the little restaurant south of the hotel which had an extensive menu of vegetarian Thai food .

If I could give the staff more than 10/10 I would. The staff were exceptionally attentive.

Food prices quoted without VAT and service charge was unexpected.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast selection was fantastic, and the location is excellent—just a short walk to the local beachfront restaurants, which is a great bonus for guests who want to explore dining options beyond the hotel’s F&B. The facilities were impressive, especially the kids' room, which was well-equipped and enjoyable.

The check-in process was quite crowded and didn’t meet the standards expected from a five-star hotel. Additionally, there were no welcome drinks, which would have been a nice touch. The pillows were also too soft for my preference.

The hotel was stunning! The grounds were incredible. Walking through the grounds through well thought out pool design where the tiling was in keeping with the theme of being in the jungle is not a sentence I ever thought I would write about a hotel. The experience was a delight. We brought our son to Thailand ti celebrate his first birthday and this hotel was the perfect place. Great friendly staff, the reception staff were fantastic at helping me rent a car and then change the rental to take the car further afield for longer. The breakfast buffet was incredible and catered for all! Again, the staff were incredible. We have a 1 year old who makes a huge mess and we offer to clean up but it wasn’t allowed. Our room was a great layout. The two doors to bathroom worked a treat when putting a child to bed. We would definitely stay again and I have already suggested this hotel to friends. Although it is out of the way and I agree that renting a car/bike is advised, it is more about how you choose holiday here. You could stay here and never leave and have a great time. That’s just not our thing. Great restaurants when you go to the beach and turn left. Mr Bao’s is great. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel apart from the following: This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in.

The resort is very well maintained and really nicely laid out. It’s very green with an own herb garden and an animal farm, fish ponds and many pools. The beach is clean and there were always enough sun beds for everyone. We really appreciated the kids club which is free of charge unless there are special activities like t-shirt dying, our 4yo daughter loved it and went every day. There’s also a kids pool with slides and shallow water. The breakfast buffet is really rich and offers enough variety for everyone to find something they like. We didn’t have any other food in the restaurants as we wanted to eat local dishes, but there are plenty of restaurants on the beach to choose from. The only time we ate at the resort was at the bistro by the kids pool and it wasn’t really good, plus you need to expect it’s quite costly. If you like Thai food, just eat elsewhere. Other then that we were really happy with everything (except for check-in) and would gladly come again of traveling with kids. Special shout out to Night - a waiter from Essence who took care of us during our private cooking school experience. He was an absolute delight and deserves a bonus!

The receptionist at check-in was not at all pleasant. The booking was under my maiden name and it took 30 mins to resolve the issue even though I had the right booking confirmation number and pin. Ok, I understand the hotel has procedures to follow, but instead of asking us to wait and explaining the situation, she just talked to her colleagues and booking support on the phone for 20 mins without even talking to us. I was 24 weeks pregnant with a 4yo child and tired from the long trip, so I would expect a little more effort to make us comfortable while this was being resolved.

The landscaping is really nicely done, and walking through the grounds is very pleasant. The pools, water park, and beach are all great. Staff are very friendly, helpful and obliging. The hotel looks like a spa resort but is very supportive and welcoming of children.

Distance to the airport is a bit further than ideal, have to add 90 minutes to travel time when planning flights. Water in every swimming pool is very cold regardless of weather. There is little to complain about beyond that, a really well run place.
