Lovely staff, welcoming and friendly. It's a bit of a hike down Soi 12 to get to the hotel but at least they will drop you off up at Sukhumvit Rd in a tuk-tuk when you need it. The room was spacious and comfortable, floors are carpeted which adds a luxurious feel. The beds were firm but comfortable enough and very clean, shower was good but the overhead rain shower didn't work. Good blackout curtains and our room was very, very quiet. Aircon pretty good. Pool nice as well. Very close to the huge Terminal 21 shopping centre and the awesome Pier 21 food court - the place go to eat.

Not much really, it's an older hotel so the rooms could do with a bit of a refresh and tidy up, two cupboard doors under the telly were just about hanging loose, a bit of dirt around the a/c vent and the rainwater shower rose didn't work.

The hotel lobby smells amazing as soon as you walk in. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to allow us to check in early. The pillows in the rooms are huge and so comfortable - it’s like sleeping on clouds. The size of the room was very decent. There’s a mini fridge in the room which is useful to keep your drinks fill during the hot and humid weather. There’s a free shuttle service that takes you to the main road, the location is great. Their swimming pool was magical. Surrounded by lush green trees, you actually forget you’re in the middle of a city. They have great pool side beds and evening swinging beds. Free wifi throughout the property.

The housekeeping was not done until 5pm which meant we had to leave the room when they came around, so I suggest they do their rounds early so guests can enjoy a nice and tidy rooms when they’re back from their outings.

staffs were really friendly and very very helpful they are willing to go all out to provide client the best service and help if needed tuk tuk service is available around the clock as the hotel residence is located approximately 300m from the main road location is very quiet with nearby benchakitti forest park However it is very convenient and strategic to commute in-out of the city without the compromise of major shopping malls and nearby attractions.

update a little bit on the furnishings ( sofa colour/ cushion) and we cannot use the induction cooker in our room as there was no pot/pan provided for use

First of all, given the location in the middle of town, the peace and solitude near the garden swimming pool is incredible. The pool itself is fabulous - even swimming in the rain! For the modest price, the room overlooking the nearby park and lake is huge and incredibly comfortable. I booked for one night but upon seeing the place I knew I'd stay longer. I'm on my third evening here. It's only a few hundred meters from the chaos of BKK.

If I had to pick one thing I'd say there's no bacon at breakfast. There are sausages and slices of meat, but no bacon. As they prepare the eggs on the terrace overlooking the pool, the only thing that would make it better is bacon.

Super central but still relaxed area. I have stayed in Bangkok multiple times for work and holidays. I stayed at everything from cheap AirBnB’s to the absolutely best five star hotels. The last few years I have kept coming back to Aspira as I find it to be the best balance between price, convenience and comfort. The hotel is walking distance from Asoke station which is the gateway to everywhere in Bangkok. It is locate in a quite street with a couple of nice coffee shops nearby. The pool area is nice and relaxed. Pillows are exactly as they should be. The staff is absolutely great. And one more thing, you will not be bothered by the sex tourists which is a problem in many of the other hotels in the same area.

These are the areas off improvements: - The gym needs an upgrade and better air conditioning - The breakfast is not worth it, even if it is included (but the staff serving breakfast is nice) - I wish there was a bar to order drinks from - The beds are on the harder side of the scale - The sink in the bathroom needs a plug (was missing in two different rooms) - Furnitures, carpets, etc are slightly old

This location exceeded my expectations. The staff were great, friendly, and accommodating. The location is near a park and has a peaceful environment. It is at the dead end of an alley/road #12. On the road is a great and funny restaurant called Cabbages and Condoms. The founder saved Thailand from the AIDS epidemic and has done so much to thwart poverty in Thailand. Definitely worth a stop at. Also, there are many nearby restaurants and cafes along the road and on the main street too. The King and I massage center on the road, was great too. I had a 70-minute oil massage that was professional and relaxing. The location is a 15-minute walk to the Terminal 21 Mall which has a fabulous food court. Also right there is the skyway train and the subway. We were able to use the train daily and see a lot of Bangkok in 4 days, then retreat to the quiet and peaceful Aspira 12th Ave Hotel. Breakfast was $200 Baht about $6.00 US dollars and had a great choice of eggs the way you choose, toast, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, and juice, as well as yogurt. We ate breakfast there every morning overlooking the serene garden and pool. I used the pool almost every day to cool down from the extreme heat. The room was clean and the housekeeping cleaned our bathroom, made the bed, and re-stocked the towels daily. A mini kitchen has a nice fridge with complimentary water re-stocked daily too. I highly recommend this hotel stay. The only caveat is that the suites show two beds online and you have to request a second smaller bed if you want one. That was confusing. We moved the table over and took out one dining table chair to make room for the extra bed in the dining area. This worked out well for my friend who slept on the extra single bed. All in all, once we straightened out the extra bed situation, it all worked out well.

Online it shows a suite with a queen-sized bed and a single bed in a separate sleeping area. This is not actually offered. You have to request the extra bed and housekeeping will bring it to the room. It is also an extra cost. If you want this feature, you have to book the room and add the extra person, then clarify with the hotel that you want the extra bed added to the room. The hotel should already offer suites with an extra single bed. It was so confusing and required a big extra effort when we arrived. We worked it out with the hotel, but it was much more confusing than it needed to be.

Booked a junior suite and loved it. Bathroom was comfortable with dual shower heads in a large tub. Marble and granite make a beautiful combo. The bed lulled me to sleep in a silent room. Never heard other guests. The pool is perfectly sized and designed to pass the hot afternoons away from the main street. The staff were more than accommodating and helped with transfers, laundry, and local information. Housekeeping was stellar. Meet them in the hall most days, and they were spot on with towels, cleaning, and special requests. The fresh drinking water each day was a nice touch.

Wish there was a bar. Minor concern as there are many within 10 minutes walking.

Room was excellent, good view towards lake. Location in downtown Bangkok, but you could be mistaken when sat around the pool area amongst the trees. Hotel is accessed up a small Soi ( lane) .There is a electric tuk tuk at the hotel which takes you to the end of the Soi . Great restuarant half way down the Soi, Cabbages and Condoms. Staff very helpful, Neil the manager is a Scot. We enjoyed all at our 3 day stay here. 7 in our family group ,ages from 30 to 72 all enjoyed. Hotel is v.near Sky train and MRT ideally situated for exploring Bangkok.

Nothing we did not like.

The staff, from the front desk to the housekeepers, were extremely accommodating and helpful. We stayed in the family suite, which was large and comfortable. Some of the furniture shows some minor signs of age, but overall, it was a great "home away from home" for our 8 day stay. Also, it's a great location. Close to restaurants, groceries, train station...

The location is perfect for tourists as well as locals to be. The breakfast is a small continental breakfast with a very good egg station and good fruit selection. The staff over all is very welcoming and helpful with your special requests.

No salami or bologna on the breakfast buffet this time and only one cheese. Did not bother me but other people might like a small selection to choose from.
