Buri staff were very kind and solicitous. The hotel is cute and very clean, you can see the care for the details. We arrived early and we could left our luggage at the reception while we did some tour around the city. When we arrived back, they have already put the luggage inside the room. Also we were provided with a city map and informations regarding the main places and temples. The breakfast was various and we loved it!

Althought they have provided us with repellent and the beds had mosquito nets, the rooms still had a lot of mosquitoes. I think an environmental repellant, something with citronella in it perhaps, could help. It was nothing that made our stay bad, just a feedback for improvement.

The rooms are spacious and decorated in a traditional Thai style, offering an authentic Thai retreat. The cleanliness of the rooms is commendable and the quiet ambiance makes it a perfect place to relax after a day of sight. I can also say I loved the Bed! The staff at the Buri Gallery House were also exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. In conclusion, the Buri Gallery House offers a blend of comfort, tradition, and convenience that makes it a standout choice for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in this beautiful city.

Location is fantastic. Literally 100m from Wat Phra Singh and the Sunday night markets are on your doorstep. Had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Buri Gallery House. Room was spacious and removed from the street so nice and quite. Laundry service was efficient and affordable. The front desk staff took a lot of time to explain the area to me and suggest activities for me to do while I was there.

I thought the cleaning staff got a bit lackadaisical over the four nights. For example my shower drain was clogged and they didnt notice/clean it. Pool area could use a spruce up. A few of the chairs were broken. They also allowed people to smoke in the pool- given the area was small it was quite unpleasant and suggest they prohibit this.

The staff were lovely, I received an unexpected upgrade and the suite was beautiful. The beds are very comfortable which was so relieving to lay in after prior Thai accommodation. The restaurant serves delicious food, and again, all of the staff were lovely. The pool area and gardens were very well maintained. It is in an excellent spot with Sunday walking street right on the door step, however once you are within the hotel it is very quiet and peaceful. The inclusive breakfast was excellent and had a wide variety of options. I loved my stay and would return, it was the perfect place to recover after a draining few days. Thank you team

The pool is nice and clean and the breakfast options were great. Staff is very helpful and nice and speaks English.

The location isn't great if one is planning to walk around, particularly in the evening as there is a dark, isolated road just beside. The laundry service was pricey and ruined some of my clothes. In addition, while the old house style is lovely, you don't get much privacy in the rooms as you can hear everything in the rooms just beside. Also, the doors don't provide much isolation, allowing small bugs and lizards to get in.

Buri Gallery House is in the heart of Chiang Mai city on one of the main roads (the road with the walking street market) but you feel like you are in the country. It’s so peaceful and quiet! We stayed in the suites (family of four shared two suites) and weren’t disappointed. Rooms are huge, with a lovely seating area outside and modern and clean bathrooms. The pool is small but very refreshing and meticulously maintained (cleaned everyday). The property has lovely maintained gardens and a breakfast restaurant (the breakfasts were included and excellent) as well as another restaurant onsite (we didn’t eat here during our stay as we were generally out exploring). The team working here were friendly, polite and helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Buri Gallery House.

The property was beautiful and the location is top notch. Very convenient for walking to many shops, restaurants and temples. About 100b for the tuktuk to take you to other more popular areas. The rooms were spacious and clean, nicely decorated and comfy bed. They also made up the room everyday which was nice! The pool was in a little courtyard, it was oddly cold, like a cold plunge but I enjoyed this in the 35c heat. We had breakfast included but only ate there once as we had early departures each day. They accommodated this and sent a packed breakfast with us on our excursion. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The 2 year old pitbull at reception is an absolute sweetheart!

If you are at Chiang Mai, trust me you have to stay here!!! The property is exceptionally boutique. From the get go the staff would help you with your Chiang Mai trip and suggest you other attractions. The rooms are decorated in a very traditional old Chiang Mai ways with ample space for you to enjoy the ambience of the rooms. The property provides you bikes to go around the city along with locks. The pool is also good with service to have drinks at the pool until certain time. The breakfast is good and value for money. The property has a restaurant which has wide variety of food options and talented bar team to offer you amazing drinks options. There is a laundry service with an economical price. The staff offers you complimentary pineapple sweets. Last but not least there is a dog which is very friendly and sweet. We felt like home at Buri. We were so happy with Buri that when we returned back to Chiang Mai we stayed again.

Nothing. The place is planning to add more space so slight construction which some people might not like but we didn't face any problems with sound or construction staff. The property managed it very well.

The accommodation is right in the heart of the old town next to shops, restaurants, market on a Sunday . The staff are all very friendly and accommodating - they very kindly let me use one of their computers to do some work . The pool although small is fabulous to cool down and relax with a book or a cocktail. Very good value for money.

They have lots of lovely plants on balconies but they need to look after them and water the plants. Just a little point.

We stayed at Buri Gallery for two weeks, and one of us needed to work remotely. For these needs, Buri was spectacular - a real home away from home as well as being an ideal base from which to explore Chiang Mai old town and the wider region. Nothing was too much trouble for Phon, Max and their colleagues. They helped us book excursions and discover new corners. And we mustn't forget Konrad, the guard dog! I loved it at Buri and would go back in a heartbeat.

The pool is nice enough for this price range but nothing amazing, likewise the breakfast (although the wait staff were lovely). Some visitors may prefer a more secluded stay since Buri is right in the middle of Chiang Mai, but this was no problem for us and our room was quiet and tranquil.
