We had the most amazing 5 days stay at Lemon hosted by Joe and Lam who are the most gracious and helpful hosts! The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet and serene alley, within walking distance to all old quarter attractions. We enjoyed the best of Chiang Mai: Temples, food, coffee, shopping, boxing all within a stones throw! The rooms are clean and well maintained with room service on a daily upon request.

The location is very good and quiet. Plenty of places around to have breakfast. Nice little balcony to sit outside. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Enough space and so many powersockets everywhere. Bathroom very big with a very good shower. Good toilet. The room was cleaned every day. The towels smelled so fresh 😊. Also we got so much water! So nice! The owners were so nice to us. They are very friendly and will help you if needed. Thank you!

For me personally the bed was a little bit to small for 2 people. The matrass was better than other ones in Thailand, but still a bit to hard. The pillows a bit to thick. But all of these things are personal so in general I would say it is a very good bed!

I can’t recommend this guest house enough. It’s in a quiet alley off of one of the Main Streets in the old town (alley lined with residential townhouses and well lit- I felt completely safe as a female traveling alone). Lemon Guesthouse is about two blocks from one of the main Temples. It was impeccably clean, with cold air con in bedroom and super comfy bed. Great rain shower with plenty of hot water and private balcony was a great bonus. American owner and his Thai wife couldn’t have been nicer. I loved exploring Old Town temples on foot and eating at the “Hanna” cafe a block away. I had a fantastic spa experience down the alleyway and to the left…around $US55 for a full body scrub, massage and facial.

The one time I turned on the tv to try to hear international news there was no cable connection.. but it could have been an easy fix- I didn’t even bother to ask the owners about it.

It is in the very center of the old city of Chiang Mai, walking distance to discover it. The most important thing for me in this place was, that I had privacy. Joe and his wife are amazing, very family-oriented, caring and advising. The room looks much nicer than in the picture, high standard of cleanliness and care for the client's condition in the supply of drinking water and much more…

Lam and Joe treated me like family. I did not have any food at the guesthouse but they did have coffee etc if I wanted. The most important thing for me was how friendly and helpful my host was. If there were any negative I shared it with Joe and Lam. Lam peeled my fruits for me and Joe offered to get me wine if I wanted when he go shopping. There is nothing they could have done to make my stay any better. If there was any thing to complain about I would have find it. I am making this statement because if anyone give a negative review it is not because of the guesthouse of the owners I will stay at the hotel again Many Thanks to my wonderful host and hostess

What is there not to like with perfection

A hidden beauty in Chiang Mai. Best place to stay with great value for money. The couple who run it are so friendly and so lovely. Extended our stay further without any problems and was such ease. Would recommend to any type of traveler passing through or staying for a while.

This is such a beautiful place! The hotel is located in a quiet alley but only 2 minute walk to everything. In the room, you have everything you need. The bed is so comfortable! A cute balcony. The shower is clean and big. The breakfast is so good! The bonus tip is the beautiful couple that runs the place! Lam and Joe are the best hosts and they will make you feel at home. I will come back again for sure!

Great property. The pair at the desk, bam and her partner are so sweet. They helped us so much, with advice and made sure we enjoyed our stay with recommendations and pleasant conversation . The location is very central. On the weekend there is a night market near by which is very nice.

Overall was Close to perfect.

The room was exactly like in the picture. Also quiet and comfortable! The location especially was really good. We really enjoyed our stay at the lemon guesthouse and thank the hostess for her hospitality. She gave us good recommendations for restaurants and travel tips and took care of us when my boyfriend had food poisoning. I really recommend the lemon guesthouse!

Hospitability of the hosts, very clean, rooms were cleaned every day, great location in the old town of Chiang Mai, especially for the sunday walking market.

Not very good soundproofing, you need earplugs if you are sensitive sleeper. And the A/C was loud in our room.
