We had a great time in this small and very cute hotel. Here are some of the best things : - clean room with nice decoration - comfortable bathroom with shower and shampoo/soap - free food/fruits available for the guests - The best part was definitely the woman staff at the reception who was so nice and helped us a lot in planing the next steps of our trip (calling the bus company, etc).

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We could leave our backpacks for a few extra days with them without any problems. The location is also great!

We adored the hotel. it was so cute and charming. as soon as you walk in there is a nicely decorated lobby where you can sit and there is free tea coffee and biscuits which is such a friendly touch. The owner lady is very helpful and kind. no request is too much and she gave us lots of helpful tips for our visit to Chiang Mai - she recommended a great cafe nearby called gravity and a restaurant called it’s good restaurant - you should visit both. she also booked us a cooking class which we really enjoyed and recommend. the rooms are very clean and fresh. there is attention to detail which is what we look for. the beds were new and so comfortable, the sheets were crisp and white, the shower was hot and powerful, big clean towels provided, air con worked very powerful, there was lots of space to hang our clothes and a desk to work on. everything you could need for a comfortable stay. location wise the hotel is perfect right in the downtown area and walking distance to all the main sights

Great little spot inside the old city. Convenient location to airport and several restaurants within walking distance. Staff were extremely friendly. Amazing price!

Overall we really liked our stay and there isn’t anything we didn’t like, per se. But just be aware that this isn’t a formal hotel. It’s a cross more similar to a bed and breakfast (although they didn’t offer an official breakfast). Also there isn’t an elevator and the stairs are narrow, so keep that in mind when thinking about luggage.

The counter staff was very friendly and helpful, she recommended us to go to the local night market and tours. I asked for her favor to help me plug off my portable charger device when it turned 100% when we went out just in case it over charged, and she kindly helped me. Appreciated that. And lastly, they even provide free snacks and drinks at their lobby for us.

The only downside is that the building does not have lift and we had to carry our own luggage up to our rooms.

Would 100% recommend staying here! It’s great value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They accommodated us multiple times with our baggage. Rooms are modern, clean and bright… Location is ideal with restaurants & bars nearby! We felt very comfortable here by the end of our trip.

Only negative: no breakfast available although a few snacks are on offer (perhaps could provide a wider range of snacks available, like fruit etc.)

The place is very clean and well maintained. The bedding is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I had to keep my luggage early morning and they helped. Moreover they have light food for breakfast. The location is amazing, you find temples and shops just round the corner. You don't feel like you are in a hotel but in at a comfortable home. They also have laundry and stuff. Very beautiful. I loved everything about our stay there. Would highly recommend.

Both the hotel and the room were extremely clean, at a very good location to almost everything either by foot or a few min grab. There was complimentary coffee, tea, water, some snacks and fruits. The women in the hotel were both friendly and helpful. And our room had a nice view to a temple! Definitely recommended.

The staff was lovely. I stayed one more night there because I felt very welcomed. They helped me bringing my luggage at the second floor. The room is cute and clean, with comfy bed and all you'd need. They offer tea, coffee, fruit at the reception.

The place is at the main street, so you can't avoid the noise. They don't take credit card payments, cash only. If you need something from the receptionist, you'd better tell them before 6pm.

We had an incredible stay at J’s cafe. The staff was very kind, they helped us with different excursions to Chang Rai and they also booked for us. The room was very clean and it had everything needed. Location is perfect!! Just to be honest regarding the aestethical expectation you could have, the place is exactly the same as the photos showed here.
