Location good, near to Old Town and Night Market. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. Nice Swimming Pool which was very refreshing! Room was spacious and very clean and had balcony overlooking the Pool as we requested. Hotel also provided free taxi to Airport on the day we left which was a nice touch.

Not a lot we didn’t like but hotel but we could have done with Fan on the Balcony to make it more pleasant to sit and have coffee etc.. Also maybe a small rack on balcony to hang wet to dry might have handy.

pool was amazing, the temperature was perfect and very refreshing as it was mineral water! staff were lovely, especially the man who welcomes everyone in the car park! location was decent. bike hire was easy. shower was lovely!

mosquitoes can and will enter the rooms if they want. we kept all Windows’s and doors closed and still had to deal with them. had to buy our own mosquito killer. It needs way more sun loungers. Pool probably not suitable for young children. The floor in the room was dirty, looked clean but our feet kept getting dirty before bed. gym wasn’t really a gym.

I loved the fresh fruits and the freshly made roti(traditional)evry morning The coffee was the absolout best coffee like in Italy if not better!!! It was plain to see how welcomed guests were at lunch, dinner, in the lobby, I felt I knew evrybody and evryone knew me!!!! We saw lots of fruit trees been taken care of and now and then a fruit straight from a tree was offered to us, and prepared by staff Rice was planted in the hotel garden, that was brilliant

No smoking policy is too strict. People should be able to smoke in their balconies or have a better spot where to smoke, not a carpark area. Also the water of the swimming felt strange...

Everything about this place was good! Kudos to the staff for being extremely friendly and being of assistance whenever we had questions or needed some help. The rooms were big and and a nice balcony space to relax outside as well. We were welcomed with fresh fruits too! The TV in the room was a smart TV with YouTube and some other international channels accessible at all times. The bathroom had both a shower and a bath. The breakfast options were more or less consistent over the days with only some changes to the main dishes which were largely an Asian variety. You could easily request for omelettes and hot drinks to be made during breakfast time. The location was good too with the night market really close by. Enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing worry-free stay!

In the beginning there was a minor miscommunication on the airport pick up and we ended up having to take an airport taxi to the hotel which was not too expensive given the hotel was nearby. However, the hotel apologised and were kind enough to give us coffee vouchers to spend it at their local Smile Lanna cafe!

Our stay at Smile Lanna was just perfect. The room was very spacious and cosy. The bathroom is also beautiful and large. We loved the balcony where we would have a last drink, while enjoying the calm Chiang Mai nights. The pool was AMAZING, big enough to swim and relax with the jacuzzi jets. It was never crowded which was really convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to meet all our requests.

The coffee shop linked to the hotel closes at 5PM so there is no way to get a drink while hanging out by the pool after that. We would have loved to be able to enjoy a mango shake around 6PM before diner by the pool. Food for thoughts ;-) The hotel is located on a busy street. Make sure to crosse at the lights as it can be a little dangerous.

We spent 4wks in the greater CNX area, staying a four different hotels along the way and found this hotel to be the hidden gem of our stay. Like other reviews this hotel although situated beside a main road, makes you feel as iff you are in the country side. Onsite coffee shop is wonderful, try the orange cake. Great breakfast on offer and all the evening meals we had onsite where of good quality. Finally a big shout out to all the staff at the hotel who where so kind and made us feel at home during our two short stays, we are looking forward to a return stay in the future. Global Travelers tip: Rooms on the upper third floor have vaulted ceilings so you get a great feeling of space.

Amazing staff, everyone seemed so genuinely happy to be there. Room and Facilities were so clean!!!!!! Free pick up and drop off from airport, and daily transport to the night bazaar and Sunday markets. Breakfast (especially coffee) was great, small coffee house nearby which seemed to have a lot of locals visit too. Little activities to keep children and adults entertained daily - ie soap making and bracelets are awesome during the rainy season. Such great value for money. If you select a room facing the pool, it is so relaxing to see their mini rice paddies and greenery. One of the best hotels that checked so many boxes!

The hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel is near the old town and located beside a main street but it’s like an oasis once you walk in. Very quiet and nice. The swimming pool is great and fruits are provided at the pool side during happy hour (2pm~4pm everyday) And the breakfast definitely cannot be missed! Variety of breakfast is amazing. You can have many Thailand dishes and also western style such as omelets, bread and salad. Highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely go back next time when I visit Chiangmai.

It would be great if you could provide hair conditioner.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there is plenty of choice. There is a free shuttle bus to the airport (which is close by) and a daily shuttle to the old town and night market. The location is superb and it is easy to reach the sites in the old town. Pool is nice and well maintained, with a good supply of towels. It was my wife's birthday and the staff greeted us with a Happy birthday banner in the room and some vouchers for free afternoon tea X2. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Room was a good size but only had a view over the back of the hotel and a carpark.
