Friendly staff, lovely hotel; they also have a tourism information centre inside with a really helpful lady to serve and book activities with you (cooking classes, ATV days, Zipline, Elephants) - really helpful.

Nothing to dislike.

Everything. We loved the beautiful aesthetics of the the entire hotel. The rooms were very large. The pool area was peaceful and beautiful. We especially enjoyed having cocktails around the pool in the evening after a busy day of site seeing. Great location for us. The breakfast buffet was delicious with enough variety to please everyone (at one point we had eight rooms for our group of 13 people). We appreciated that some of the breakfast choices changed daily (we stayed for five days). The staff were lovely. I forgot some air pods in our room when we checked out - which I didn't even realize. I was contacted by text with a photo of my belongings. I paid a minimal shipping fee and they were mailed to me right away to my next stop in Thailand. Fabulous service.

I would have liked wash cloths in the rooms for washing/showering. (We just went and bought one at the nearby 7-Eleven.)

The room was amazing and big. It was authentic and wooden with a balcony. It was just so amazing. The pool and surroundings made you feel peaceful and special. The staff were really great. Should have stayed longer.

REally, nothing. However, the breakfast could have been a little better.

The hotel is beautiful. The incredible wooden furniture in the huge rooms is authentic and the outside area with the pool covered in jungle like surroundings is lovely. Each room has a big balcony with seating, especially lovely of an evening. It's a real little haven away from bustling streets of Chiang Mai. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to most temples, as well as having everything you could need on the street. Shops, laundry, pharmacy, cafes, massagges and some places to eat. (Highly recommend Hanna cafe just 7min walk from hotel. Great food and 2 lovely ladies that run it!) Staff were kind and helpful. At times, the language barrier was a difficulty but they were super pleasant and always ready to help. Booked a taxi for us for 4am flight at midnight! The lady that runs the tourism desk is an absolute delight! So helpful, efficient and just lovely. Organised a trip for is to Doi Suthep and sticky mountains in no time and it was perfect. Thank you! Lots of reviews complained about breakfast. It isn't necessarily 4* quality but there is plenty of choice and something for everyone, even if basic. Hot traditional food, breads, fruit and cooked things like eggs, bacon etc. Lovely place, great location, ideal to really relax in for few days.

Total lack of soundproofing. :( we were on the second floor and we could hear movement from above as well as next door. Above, you could hear people moving around, dragging furniture etc. We had the very unfortunate misshap of having a very noisy couple next door to us. We unfortunately had to be subjected to their very loud and lengthy 'nightly activity' two nights in a row. The headboard banging was also totally unacceptable. This is not the hotels fault of course, but it really was unpleasant. We know other guests could hear her in particular too. Better soundproofing would be ideal!! Just beware if you're a light sleeper!

From the tranquil outdoor pool to the authentic Thai-style rooms, featuring beautiful wood-carving furnishings and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, this hotel was a true gem for us. You can immerse yourself in nature while still being in the heart of the city, just minutes away from the Saturday and Sunday Night Markets. The carps swimming in their own pool and the soothing evening sound of cute small frogs create an enchanting ambiance. The staff is friendly and attentive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and a relaxed atmosphere.

You can indulge in a rich and varied breakfast spread, though vegetarians/vegans may find limited options.

This hotel is beautiful with traditional Thai decor. The included breakfast was the best of our trip, and it changed daily, with a selection of Thai and western dishes available. The location is nice and within walking distance or short ride to many points of interest. The room was also very spacious.

I removed a couple points for the cleanliness. The room had some areas, especially in the bathroom, that were dusty/mildewy. The shower had mildew on the windows. On the floor near the jetted tub, it was dusty and there was old hair. We decided not to use the tub due to the yellow discoloring around the jets and discomfort that it wasn't cleaned properly, which is a bummer because this was one of the main reasons we selected this room.

I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful traditional Thai hotel with maximum comfort and cleanliness. Very spacious room with high ceilings and the bed was a dream. The jacuzzi made the stay even more luxurious. The hotel was quiet both nights I stayed there with minimal noise. The hotel is situated in a convenient location in Chiang Mai with plenty to see and do in the area. I walked to the night market and sight seeing without needing transport. The pool was very clean and hotel staff provided a poolside cocktail bar with happy hour in the afternoons. The breakfast was divine including the presentation and service, providing both Thai and Western options. I very much enjoyed eating breakfast watching the resident coy fish. Hotel staff were very helpful in every way possible. This hotel is a real treat!

We absolutely loved our stay here - the photos on booking.com do not do this hotel justice! It’s absolutely beautiful, a really relaxing retreat in the old town. The pool area is particularly lovely. We mentioned it was a birthday booking so they gave us the biggest room and balcony in the whole hotel which was such a treat. Great location explore the old town from.

Nothing really! If I had to pick one improvement it would be to add a second coffee machine (or offer table service for hot drinks) as there was always a big queue at breakfast for the single slow machine. Other than that, lovely

We had an Executive Suite with Pool Access for 5 nights, ground level right off the pool in the corner. The room was spacious and clean, storage everywhere. It is just like the photos, allot of woodwork and large bathroom. Our room was very quite. The location is good on the south side of oldtown, some restaurants close by and Rachadamnoem road (Saturday Night Walking Street) is just blocks away. Wat Phuak Hong (smaller and not as popular but unique in itself) just 40 meters north and Nong Buak Haad Park just behind the hotel (worth a visit if you have time). Breakfast is buffet style, it had a good selection of foods and pastries, only one espresso machine so a bit of a line at times on it. Staff was very friendly and helpful, pool area and grounds were nice and well kept nice oasis after a full day. House cleaning was good, we left early in the morning and returned about 5 PM every day so not sure when they did the cleaning or how long it took them. We had a couple of chairs on a porch outside the front door, we sat there several times overlooking the pool and discussing the day or deciding where to go for dinner.

This is an amazing place to stay in Chiang Mai! It’s location is perfect with many a cute side street, the daily night market & big Sunday market, plus a 7/11 (atm) close by. The swimming pool is gorgeous, you certainly don’t feel you’re in a city. The gym lacked weights but we enjoyed doing yoga on a decent surface/mat in front of a mirror. Our room was incredible! Beautiful furniture, huge bathroom with jacuzzi and the comfiest bed. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Eggs made to order with bacon everyday, machine coffee, juice and fresh fruit - there were other options, this was what we had. Lastly a big thank you to the staff. Always happy to help and also did us a huge favour when we needed one at the end of our stay, so thank you. Stay here, you won’t regret it!
