Fabulous hotel. The room was great, comfortable bed and extremely clean facilities. The staff are amazing, friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect, in a quiet area but perfect for walking to all the main spots. I was a solo traveller and felt very safe wandering back to the hotel on an evening.

This is a superb hotel - from the staff, the rooms and the breakfast (delicious sandwiches custom made to order!). I was very impressed with the professionalism of everyone on the hotel staff; from the moment we checked in to our checking out. There is a small but lovely pool on the property. The hotel location is excellent; tons of coffee shops, restaurants and a 7-11 within walking distance. It was also a 10-15 minute drive to popular areas. It is also within walking distance of a number of temples, and a 10-min drive of a hospital (which provided excellent care to me when I needed it). If you get a chance to sleep on the loft bed, do so. I was worried the hard mattress would injure my back but it actually helped with my back pain! The hotel provides water bottles every day (which was a huge help). I highly recommend this hotel - it has everything you need!

A few minor issues but not a huge deal: - old/dingy shower curtain in our room (it could have just been an oversight) - the stairs to the loft upstairs in our room was slightly scary to climb up and down from

We had a good stay at the Pastell hotel. The lobby and the interiour is very beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The location of the hotel is very good. All the tours that we booked, came to pick us up. There were plenty of (cheap) restaurants and shops nearby. Everyday we got 2 bottles of water, even if we didn't asked for housekeeping (in a bag at the door). If breakfast is not included, you can decide in the morning if you want to eat breakfast or not. You also can ask a sandwich on the go to bring on a tour for example.

The pool was a bit dirty, but the day after they started working next to the pool. The pool was temporary closed, our full understanding for that. Thank you for the nice stay.

Great location- walking distance to many local sights and markets. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. A good, basic breakfast available, rooms were a good size and beds comfy. We did a number of trips and the hotel was always 1st or 2nd pick up & drop off location which made it very convenient.

The breakfast was good, an addition of some yogurt and maybe muesli would be a welcome addition.

Awesome staff, beautiful hotel, great location, clean and comfortable! We were within walking distance of many attractions, markets, restaurants etc. The staff were beyond wonderful! So friendly and helpful, always smiling. When I had food poisoning on the day we were leaving, the very sweet lady working at the desk brought me hydration packets while I was feeling miserable waiting for a taxi. Cant say enough about the staff.

Pool is quite small and in the shade so it’s too cold to use most of the time. Also, this didn’t bother me as I thought it was cool but if you’re a light sleeper it might be a problem - the bells from a nearby temple are rung every morning around 4:30am and all the neighborhood dogs start a chorus of barking for a few minutes or so. I kind of liked it but some may not.

The rooms are lovely and clean and a great size. We had a room overlooking the pool which was nice in the mornings. Aircon is great, and the room was kept amazingly clean. The staff were so friendly and have us some good tips for the local area. You can walk to the main central sights easily and songthaew's are easy to flag down from outside. There is an amazing little cocktail bar just around the corner which is worth checking out. Really safe neighbourhood, we walked across town back to the hotel at 2am and didn't meet another soul on the way! Overall a great stay and a lovely hotel. The pool is more of a cooling off / dip pool but this is great considering the central location of the hotel.

Great location, clean and comfortable, lovely staff and easy to organize tours. The shower was lovely and although the pool is very small it was quiet and we were able to get in every day.

The way the electric turned off when you left the room. Kind of defeated the point of having a fridge. A wider bench rather than a ledge to set things on would be helpful. It was difficult to organize ourselves...... And make tea safely.

Nice design hotel with exceptional staff! Friendliest I have experienced in all of Thailand. We wanted to add another night to our stay, which was no problem and even got breakfast for free in addition. It’s good situated within the old town area where you can definitely reach anything well by foot. The rooms are good, just the walls are thin and if some people are louder you would hear them. Would recommend to get breakfast one time, it’s a Japanese inspired breakfast sandwich. Definitely enjoyed our stay in this hotel!

Really cute and family hotel in a charming neighborhood of the old town. The staff is super helpful whenever you need help. The swimming pool is small but enough to cool off after an excursion. I really like the accessible and cozy design of the lobby and the rooms.

The first room we had was a bit small and without any view, we were on the ground floor and our window faced a wall but the other two rooms when we comeback from different treks were perfect!

Lovely staff. brilliant location in the old town, very calming and quiet area. Plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants near by. lovely decoration of the hotel. breakfast was delicious and well worth the money. Can’t wait to stay again.

only a minor thing- a wardrobe or place to put your clothes would have been appreciated. may have been nice to have a couple more chairs around the pool.
