A very quaint, unique establishment, a one-of-a-kind, kind of place. The property offers a very unique pool offering plenty of sun or shade. A great bar/eating area with plenty of character and charm. The full time bartender was a charm, always friendly with a smile on her face and excellent service. Everyone on the staff was super friendly and enthusiastic. They all went out of their way to make sure you felt welcome and at home at their property. Made to order breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices each morning. The location was perfect, close to everything but not overly loud. Less than 10-minute walk to the beach The owner Nicky, a super friendly guy, introduced himself right away at check in and helped me book an excursion for the next day.

I know they don't like it, but there wasn't a way to remove the room key from the key card. There was no way to keep the AC on in your room when gone. My room faced the sun, so it was hot without the AC.

Never disappoints. Nicky and his crew offer a unique stay close enough to the highlights but comfortably outside the intensity.

Everything! Nothing not to love about this place..From the entrance, u couldnt see the rooms they have but once u walk inside the hotel area, its all there complete with swimming pool. Room- spacious and easily occupied 3 of us with 1 additional bed. bed was comfy, toilet and bathroom are separated. they got huge mirror at the sink and the room design is very unique. Even the hotel sits on a busy road and noisy at night, suprisingly u wont hear it from ur room. Pool- although it looked thin, but it was actually a decent size and depth, which was amazing. Enough to make me catch my breaths with 1 lap swim (for an asian size tho) Staff-checkin and out was a breeze, staff are very welcoming and helpful. Location-15-20mins walk from Bangla road, convinience stores everywhere, at the side road u can find street food and drinks for a cheap price. walking distance to nearest motorbike rental. location is awesome.

What isn’t there to like?, Massive room off the busy/noisey roads, large hot shower with water pressure, separate toilet, largest King Bed I’ve seen in Thailand. On top of that, amazing helpful staff, Owner Nicky was always about with big smile, one of the best cold pools. There isn’t a piece of detail missed. All above for great price. We had just completed 2 weeks touring north Thailand, and this place was incredible to finish it off😃 Oh 7/11 very short walk for cheap alcohol for your fridge.

As with previous reviews, the only downfall, is 10-15min hike to/from Bangla Road nightlife. the one way road makes it big expensive in tuk tuk. Though positive it wears off some of alcohol before bed, reduce hangover

Very "different" decor and setting - unique we would say. Our room was very clean and comfortable, beautiful shower with plenty of hot water and all the room fittings worked. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The owner (Nicky) made a point of introducing himself and had a chat on more than one occasion. The motorbikes on display were an added bonus and we are not bike people. We will most certainly return and will recommend Nickys' Handlebar to friends.

This is a "BIKERS" themed hotel with a restaurant in the front - rooms in the back. Nice - comfortable, clean and safe. As a female single traveller ... Great place. No worries and the staff - Looked out for you. Making sure everything was smooth during ones travels. The owner Nicky - was a true professional. Nice, welcoming and around to take care of any needs of any kinds. The pool - amazing and open 24 hours. The room - quiet and comfortable. Had to work while there --wifi worked great! The hotel is located on the main strip - 2 blocks from the beach. Plenty of restaurant and street food options. Excellent time!

Staff are amazing, super hospitable and helpful. If your lucky like us the owners will be around to say hello too :) The bike theme is fantastic, with so many little things around the place really well thought out. The location is great also, as it’s close to the Main Street but far enough away to have some peace and quiet and feel safe. We stayed in a pool access room and it was spacious enough for two people, the shower was good with good pressure and it had everything needed for a good nights stay.

Nicky's Handlebar is the perfect choice for booking in Patong. Nicky and his team went above and beyond to ensure that I had an exceptional stay. I am truly grateful. From the impeccable cleanliness to the delectable food, everything exceeded my expectations. This place is an absolute must-visit!

Nikki and team are great hosts.Wonderful holiday and hotel, nice clean pool. Smallish hotel which is great as not crowded and not fighting for a sun lounger etc Room was large clean and better then what we expected. The theme is great even if your not a biker and the attention to every detail was brilliant even after 7 days we will still noticing the amazing attention to detail of this hotel. Location is brilliant 5 min walk to patong beach and bangala road if that takes your fancy. Lots of street food, bars and restaurants close by BUT as the room is set back of the road we heard nothing at all from the night life, and slept so well. bed quite hard but this is usual across Asia and we found it very comfy. 100% recomend nicky's handlebar, I've traveled the world and stayed in many different star hotels dont let the 3* fool you this is as good if not better then 5* hotels I've stayed in absolute value for money, We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Only negative, Pool is lovely however if you like to lounge round the pool on holiday in the sun, there are only a few spots in the sun and only for a few hours each day due to shadow of buildings, but this is the sacrifice you make for being so close to everything ,rather then being at a soulless resort hotel.

Everything!! Nicky's Handlebar was a GREAT place to stay! Everything in the room was so clean and spotless. The pool was great and relaxing and quiet. It was such a quirky and fun place to stay. The attention to detail of the motorbike theme was so well done, we absolutely loved it here. Great to be able to walk to the beach too.
